Much better than expected.
Excellent private trip - i.e. only our family - in a very modern and stylish car and with a highly recommended tour guide: Farha. She is charming and very knowledgable, speaks excellent english. It does make a big difference if you have a guide who does not just give you the mere facts but who you can interact with in a proper way. Farha had the ability to bring history to live and she had meaningful answers to all our questions. Actually, the whole tour was much better than expected as the government is maintaining the site very well and the climatized busses and walkways are efficient and comfortable. This particular tour was priced fairly and there seems to be no need to pay the USD 600 for 4 pax that some operators charge.

Great half day tour, but skip the optional shop visit at the end
Great tour by Hadeer! It was not too short but thankfully not that long so as to avoid the mid day sun (I was here in late August). While the main stops for the tour were worth it, the last stop at the perfume and papyrus shop are not. I was given the option to skip but decided to check it out anyways since the included lunch wasn't yet ready by the time we left the necropolis. Other than that, this is a great half day tour for those looking for a lighter activity while in Cairo.

This tour was truly second to none. The sites themselves were everything you would expect—and even more—from one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Yet what made the entire experience unforgettable was our extraordinary guide, Wael Saber, and his wonderful driver, Abdul.
Wael has a rare ability to educate, entertain, and bring history vividly to life. He did not simply recite facts or dates; he told the stories, personalities, culture, and nuances of ancient Egypt with the kind of creative, cinematic detail that made us feel as though we were part of a National Geographic documentary being written in real time. His knowledge was exceptional, but it was his delivery, enthusiasm, patience, and genuine care for us that made the difference.
My family and I have taken tours around the world for decades, and Wael Saber stands out as the best guide we have ever had. He created the perfect balance between deep historical background and an enjoyable, personal experience. We learned an incredible amount, but never felt overwhelmed or bored. Every stop felt meaningful, every question was welcomed, and every story added another layer to our understanding of Egypt’s remarkable history.
Wael and Abdul made us feel like family—if not Egyptian royalty ourselves. Abdul was professional, kind, dependable, and helped make every part of the day smooth, comfortable, and relaxed. Together, they created an experience that felt personal, seamless, and truly special.
As I looked around at other tour groups, I realized just how fortunate we were to have Wael Saber and Abdul as our team. If you want to have fun, learn deeply, experience the history intimately, and feel genuinely cared for throughout your journey, Wael is absolutely your guide.
I will be recommending Wael Saber to friends and family for the rest of my life.

Great experience!
Great half experience. Our guide Amany and driver mohamidson was amazing. Amany was helpful informative and accommodated us and our interests. Prior to the tour the communication to make sure everything was organized was great. Pickup and drop off was easy.

Excellent value for the price
An awesome experience, well worth the money. Farha was an excellent guide. Very kind, knowledgeable, and she gave us some great tips for the best picture spots while advising us of scams. Easy recommendation for your trip to see the pyramids!

We had a fantastic experience on our tour of the Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx! The tour was well organized, and we were taken to all the right places and viewpoints to fully appreciate these incredible sites. The included camel ride was great, creating such great memories.
Our guide, Farha, was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She shared interesting information about the pyramids and ancient Egyptian history, making the tour both enjoyable and informative.
She came to our resort in Cairo, and they picked us up and brought us straight to the sites!
It was a very memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairo!

Amazing Pyramid Tour Guide
Our tour guide, Aya, was fantastic, a wealth of knowledge and experience with getting around the pyramids and shopping in town. Having a driver and lunch was really convenient as well as culturally connecting. I would asked for Aya by name.

Amazingexperience
Amazing experience. The communication beforehand with the company was great. They understood our requirements and followed them without any problems. The day before the trip, our guide had messaged to introduce herself and pick up times.
The guide "Aaya" was absolutely brilliant. She was on time, professional, friendly. She explained everything we wanted to know about, she took our photos and helped us in buying souvenirs too. She also helped with anyone trying to sell us camel rides etc. We did feel we paid a lot more money than other operators but we didn't mind as we got the experience and service we wanted. Thank you "Aaya" you made our trip perfect!
