Jaw-dropping rock-carved temple of Ramses II should not be missed!
I worked with Luxor & Aswan travel to organize my dream trip to Egypt and they did an amazing job including a day trip to Abu Simble. It is a 3 hour drive each way through desert from Aswan down to the temple near the Sudan border. The trip is well worth the effort. Abu Simble is AMAZING!!!! This temple was rock-cut from sandstone cliffs!!! That means they chiseled the rock away to create the massive sculptures of seated and crowned Ramses II. But they did not stop with the outer facade. They chiseled rooms with vaulted ceilings and giant pillar statues holding up the painted roof. The walls are filled with beautiful etchings depicting Ramses victory at Kaddish. This is where you will see the famous carvings of the Victory chariot and the Peach chariot. And the inner sanctum has statues of the gods that are illuminated by the sun on two days of the year. Wow, just wow! Abu Simble is stunning in both size and artistry. This is a true wonder of the world! Not to be missed! Suggest you take water and snacks for in the car. There is no place to really stop along the way. If you tour Egypt, make sure to add this stunning temple to your tour.

Great Tour!
Staff was waiting for us on time. Transportation was safe, and the vehicle was clean. Everyone was very polite and nice when greeting us and our tour guide "Ramses" was very informative and funny. We had two drivers at all times with us; one drove to Abu simbel and the other one drove back to Luxor. They were both very attentive and made us feel safe. Overall, we were very pleased with this company and it stuff! Thank you for a great experience!

Egyptian tours was fantastic
Mustafa was an amazing guide. He is very knowledgeable and timely. He took us to the temples and explained everything. Highly recommend. He speaks English, Spanish and Italian.

They came on time properly and the trip was very smooth.
On the tour to Absimbel, they picked us up at 4am as planned. In the desert between Aswan and Absimbel, you were free to drive without a confoi at the time, but it seems you can't leave the city until 5am in the morning. We arrived at the temple after 8 o'clock and enjoyed the Temple of Absimbel, which lasted about 10 minutes but was before the other tour guests. The schedule is expected to last about 2 hours, but the temple itself is not large, so about an hour should be enough. We arrive in Aswan around 13-14 o'clock, so subsequent train journeys to Luxor are no problem.
