Delicious experience at Alexander the Great with Hassan
ALEXANDER THE GREAT
We were on the Alexander the great cruise. Lovely staff, super attentive. Our guide Hassan Abdel Maged was amazing. He explained all the temples of wonder. His tours were complete but without going too long on nonsense. We had a great time. Hassan also offered us some additional excursions that were very interesting. He bought us water and typical food to try and taught us Luxor and Aswan for their more authentic side.
The food on the boat is outstanding. There is a lot of choice in the buffet and in the evening they put an à la carte menu that is phenomenal.
The rooms are very large, with 2 large windows and the boat is small, which makes it very personal and the Service is wonderful.
The only bad thing about the boat, the massages. They are a mess and we had trouble paying, because he wanted to charge us more (he said his massage had been extra long).
A wonderful experience. We kept the name of the boat and the guide because we would repeat it as is (but without massage).

Just exceptional
Our whole experience with Luxor and Aswan travel was just EXCEPTIONAL! From the moment we emailed them to book our trip, to the tour guid, to the boat, everything was just perfect. We felt taken care of and Hany who took care of our booking was available 24/7 to answer all our questions.
A special mention to Ahmed Helmy who was the best tour guid we ever had (no exageration) he picked us up from the train station when we arrived to Aswan and was very passionate and knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He explained with passion every site we visited and would spend time explaining hieroglyphs.
We came out of this experience more knowledgeable and able to decipher hieroglyphs.

9 days in Egypt with Hany
We had a wonderful time in Egypt. From the moment we landed in Cairo we were well looked after by Hany and his team. The transfers were on time. We spend 3 days in Cairo and had a wonderful time with Mohammed. We flew to Aswan. My child lost his iPhone in the airport. Hany and his team managed to track it, find it and bring it to us on our way to Luxor. They created a miracle 😊. We spend 3 days on the Nile which is highly recommended. George joined us and made a great effort teaching my 10 and 12 year old about Egypt.
I would recommend Hany Luxor & Aswan travel any time.

Michael and Mohamed were incredible guides and personalized our experience every step of the way! We were impressed with the hospitality and keen knowledge of Egyptian history. Our kids 7 and 10 learned a ton and are ready for 6th grade history class.

Awesome cruise trip
I wanted to do this cruise for quite some time. I was very interested in the Egyptian ancient culture. This cruise filled my expectations. The boat is clean and comfortable, attention to guest is very good and food serve is good quality. As you don't see people asking for money in the streets be prepared with a lot of small bills to give tips, which is very common. You receive a lot of small and big services and it is expected to give tips depending on what you receive. In the boat though, you tip once at the end of the trip for everyone. This cruise has a good balance between touring and leisure time. I really enjoyed, there are many options of boats to do this cruise, but I definitely recommend ACAMAR boat.

Well organised and a friendly Egyptologist
We found this trip through their website. The communication with the agent was very fast and answered all our questions. we had to pay 50% of the price at the time of the booking and the rest of the money in one week before the trip when they were going to send us the second invoice. They never sent it though, that made us worry a little bit about the reliability. and we paid everything in the boat.
The whole trip was very well organised, we didn’t need to think about anything.
We had our private tour guide guy George with us all the time. George is a well educated and passionate Egyptologist that had an answer for every question we had about the culture of Egypt, the history, ancient or modern and all the temples we visited. He was extremely friendly and assisted us in everything we needed. Even when we had some stomach problems he offered to make the arrangements with the chef for our dinner.
The food in there Cruise was good they have done different things every day in a big variety to choose. The quality was okay and the taste was fine. Everyone on the ship was friendly although most of the staff did not speak English

Explore Ancient Egypt
Loved everything about the trip! We started in Cairo, spent a day in Alexandria ( I would have loved an extra day here, so much to see!) Then then 4 day cruise which was amazing! We were able to see many temples, and have plenty of time to relax and just enjoy the view. Our tour guide, Shimaa Esmail, was wonderful! She was thoughtful, helpful, funny and very knowledgeable about everywhere we went. If I'm ever in Egypt again I will be requesting her! An experience of a life time!! Thanks for a great trip!

Amazing experience
We had an amazing time on this trip. The company arranged everything and made it so easy for us to see all the best sites from Aswan and Luxor. The stay on the boat was great thanks to the wonderful staff, from the kitchen to housekeeping. The best part was our tour guide, George, who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He went way above and beyond to make our trip as fun, comfortable, and informative as possible. We were amazed by all we learned in a short time and highly recommend this tour and especially our guide, George!

Every part of the cruise was excellent, the accomodation, food and service. Schedule and time to visit mayor attractions in Aswan, Luxor, and along the Nile River.
