We booked through viator a private trip to Abu Simbel directly from Aswan Airport. Our driver (Koko) arrived on time and it was easy to get in touch with him for the organization of the tour. He 'was helpful and professional throughout the trip and on the way back left us directly at the hotel helping us find the exact location and also getting in touch with the owner directly.

It was a wonderful experience to explore the mighty Abu Simbel with 2 Hany’s (the driver and the tour guide)! Our driver made the logistics exceptionally easy. He confirmed booking with us and arrived hotel to pick up early. His humour, knowledge about the road and careful driving made our car ride exceptionally enjoyable. Our tour guide was passionate and knowledgeable about the beautiful template and shared its history vividly with us. Highly recommend!

Kuku was our driver. A very nice and worm person, well organised and helpfull with everything we needed. Very polite, very clean car. We were picked up on time from the ship. We received all the information very well structured, with a lot of details. We received answers to our questions. They gave us a wonderful experience on the way to Abu Simbel. I will recommend him to my friends

The driver was incredible. We got there faster than most of the other buses. I recommend the 4 am pic up. The car was clean and relaxing. We slept most of the way there and back. Had a nice bathroom break each way. The guide at the site was very informative and the English was excellent. I would recommend to others.

I experienced the amazing Temple of Absimbel! The drive to the Temple of Absimbel was a fulfilling day with a comfortable car and Hany's friendly guide and driving. Lunch was taken to a restaurant that offered fresh fish caught in Lake Nasser. It was my first Egyptian meal and it was delicious. Thank you, Hany.

The "private tour" status was a bit of a stretch. Save money and book a group tour instead with hotel pickup/drop off. The tour guides are not allowed to go into either temple and are left explaining everything outside the actual temples which was rushed and was less than five minutes with flash cards of the images. Our driver was great but barely spoke English. Upon arrival you're linked with your "guide". Early morning was extremely crowded. Expect to spend 6 hours in your vehicle and about 30 minutes at the actual site.

We had a great experience visiting Abu Simbel which is a must for anyone traveling in Egypt. We are a family of three and we had a 7 seat car all to ourselves. The driver Hani was very knowledgeable and caring. He even had water and snacks ready for the road trip. Once we reached Abul Simbel, our guide, another gent named Hani, was waiting to escort us through the sites and gave excellent background information. Very satisfied with the experience

Fully reliable and well organised. A small bus. Clean. On time. With water and snacks. Taking-care attitude to customers. Good communication. Safe driving (within the Egyptian standard :)) A lot of driving from Aswan to Abu Simbel. Worth doing for: the Abu Simbel Temple. The real-life views along the route.

Unfortunately, their reviews did not match my experience. The driver who picked me up did not speak any English, which made it nearly impossible to communicate. Thought they would have a sign/name card when I exited the airport but I had to call to locate him. Tour Guide Haani was friendly and helpful. However, he wasn’t very forthcoming with the stories and I had to extract information from him. They should provide the water at the start of the tour and not the end.
