Ontdek het grootste museum voor oude Egyptische kunst en zijn schatten uit het rijke verleden van Egypte, zoals de hoogwaardige grafgiften. Tijdens een bezoek van ongeveer twee uur vertelt onze gids op humoristische wijze over de belangrijkste tentoonstellingen en beantwoordt hij uw vragen. Bewonder het laatste overgebleven wereldwonder - een werkelijk legendarische ervaring! In totaal vindt u hier drie piramides: de piramide van Chephren, de piramide van Cheops en de piramide van Menkerinos. U kunt de omgeving te voet, te paard of op een kameel verkennen. Na een bezoek aan de piramides van Gizeh gaan we naar de Sfinx, veruit de grootste en best bewaarde sfinx. Het bestaat uit een mensenhoofd op het lichaam van een leeuw. De Sfinx werd uitgehouwen uit de resten van een kalksteenheuvel die diende als steengroeve voor de Grote Piramide van Gizeh. Feluccatocht op de Nijl. U wordt rond 4.00 uur opgehaald bij uw hotel. Bij aankomst in Caïro wordt u ontvangen door uw gids, die u gedurende de hele tour zal begeleiden. Ontmoet uw Egyptologische gids bij het museum en begin uw dag. Bezoek het hypermoderne Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), het grootste archeologische museum ter wereld met meer dan 100.000 artefacten, of het Ancient Egyptian Museum op het Tahrirplein. Selecteer uw voorkeursmuseum tijdens het boekingsproces. Geniet daarna van uw lunch. De excursie gaat verder naar de grote piramides van Cheops, Chefren en Mykerinus. De piramidetour eindigt bij de Sfinx en de tempel die zich in de buurt bevindt. Als de tijd het toelaat, kunt u aan het eind van de dag nog de bazaar in Caïro bezoeken voordat u terugkeert naar Sharm el Sheikh. Bij aankomst op de luchthaven wordt u in een voertuig met airconditioning naar uw hotel gebracht.
Als de terugvlucht vanuit Caïro laat in de avond is, kunnen we nog wat tijd besteden aan een bezoek aan het middeleeuwse Londen (Khan el Klalili-markt), Oud-Caïro, dat onlangs is toegevoegd aan de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO, of Cairo Festival City, een extra groot (met airconditioning) winkelcentrum, een van de grootste in het Midden-Oosten. Vol met de meest bekende internationale merken, restaurants, cafés en een enorme kleurrijke dansende fontein, waar u wordt aangetrokken door het chique, moderne nachtleven van Caïro.
Als we tijd hebben, kunnen we twee karakteristieke bezoeken brengen aan het Papyrusmuseum en de fabriek voor etherische oliën. Tijdens deze twee bezienswaardigheden maakt u kennis met de oude Egyptische technieken voor het maken van papyrus en essences. Deze twee interessante bezoeken vergroten uw kennis over het dagelijks leven in het oude Egypte en zijn ook nuttig voor de Egyptische boeren die in deze sectoren werken en deze zeer oude ambachten uit het oude Egypte bewaren. (Deze bezoeken zijn afhankelijk van de resterende tijd.)

Ieri abbiamo fatto un escursione al cairo con partenza da sharm . Tutto è stato perfetto, la guida Adel è stata fantastica e ha reso la giornata perfetta, ci ha raccontato alla perfezione tutto quello che abbiamo visto tra piramidi e museo egizio, senza di lui non sarebbe stato così bello. Consiglio assolutamente di prenotare con loro il tour.

La visita a questi luoghi leggendari è quanto di più emozionante ci possa essere. Quando poi questa visita viene effettuata accompagnati da una guida di altissimo livello come Benedetto la giornata resterà senz'altro indimenticabile. Purtroppo, seppur muniti dei biglietti necessari acquistati al momento della presentazione, lì abbiamo dovuti riacquistare nuovamente all'ingresso sia del Parco delle Piramidi sia del Museo egizio in quanto questo nostro acquisto non risultava al nostro accompagnatore. A parte questo non trascurabile incidente, la visita è senz'altro straordinaria e ovviamente caldamente consigliata

What an amazing trip, I went as a solo female and felt safe and protected throughout... Abanob (Jimmy) was so knowledgeable and eager to ensure I had the best experience. I woukd hoghly recommend thus but expect a long day and a lot of walking.

It was such a wonderful experience with our tour guide Hussain. The visit to pyramids was fabulous. It was such a detailed experience. The guide took such amazing pictures as well the cherry on top. Overall our experience was splendid and so informative. Definitely recommended.

This is a must-do experience when visiting Egypt—don’t hesitate to book with them! We managed to book the entire trip less than 12 hours in advance, while every other company was telling us there were no flights available. From start to finish, everything was organized seamlessly. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the airport for our flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, our tour guide, Ahmed, gave us a brief and engaging introduction to the city as we made our way to Giza to see the pyramids. He also helped us secure a great deal on a camel ride, which ended up being one of the highlights of the trip for me and my girlfriend. Afterward, we enjoyed a buffet lunch overlooking the pyramids, with a great selection of delicious food. We then visited the Grand Egyptian Museum, where we learned not only about everyday life in ancient Egypt but also about the opulent lifestyle of the pharaohs. Ahmed’s knowledge of Egyptology was genuinely impressive, and he made the experience even more enjoyable with his photography skills—he knew all the best spots, angles, and poses! As someone deeply interested in world history, I especially appreciated how he took the time to answer all of our questions. We even had insightful discussions on more debated topics, such as why many statues, including the Sphinx, are missing their noses. We ended the day with a relaxing nighttime boat ride along the Nile for a small fee of £10, followed by a visit to Old Cairo where we had time to explore and do some bargaining. Finally, everything was wrapped up with a smooth transfer back to the airport and then to our hotel. I’d definitely recommend getting plenty of rest beforehand, as it’s a long and busy day—but absolutely worth every moment.

We had an amazing day trip to Cairo that exceeded all our expectations! Everything was perfectly organized from the start — a bus picked us up right in front of our hotel and took us smoothly to the airport. After arriving in Cairo, our guide Ahmed Shouleh welcomed us warmly and immediately made us feel comfortable. He gave us a short city tour before taking us to the incredible Pyramids of Giza. The highlight was definitely the camel ride, and thanks to him, we got a great price without any hassle or scams. We then enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner at a beautiful restaurant — the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely. After that, we visited the impressive Grand Egyptian Museum, which was truly fascinating. Our guide’s knowledge was outstanding and made the experience even more special. In the evening, we had a relaxing boat ride on the Nile River, followed by a walk through the vibrant old Cairo market — such a unique and lively experience! Throughout the entire trip, our guide took excellent care of us, always making sure we felt safe and avoided any scams. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Egypt!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the “Sharm: Cairo Excursion by Flight, Pyramid GEM or Ancient Museum” tour, and a huge part of that was down to our incredible guide, Ahmed Sholah. From the moment we met him, Ahmed was warm, professional, and exceptionally knowledgeable. His depth of insight into Egypt’s history really brought everything to life — from the pyramids to the museum — in a way that was engaging for both adults and children alike. We were travelling with four children aged between 6 and 9, and Ahmed went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly for us. He was patient, attentive, and very thoughtful in planning regular toilet breaks and pacing the tour so the kids didn’t get overwhelmed or tired. One thing we especially appreciated was how he helped us navigate some of the more challenging aspects of busy tourist areas. He was very proactive in steering us away from pushy street vendors, allowing us to enjoy the experience without any stress or pressure. Overall, Ahmed struck the perfect balance between being informative, organised, and genuinely caring. If you’re considering this tour — especially with a family — we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you, Ahmed, for making it such a memorable day!
