Fantastic 5 day cruise with a private guide
We booked our trip through this agency after finding good reviews online. Our main contact was Hany El Dosouki who was fantastic! He was super responsive and gave us good recommendations. He also checked in with us at the start, during and end of our trip to make sure all was good. We booked on to the MS Farah 5 day cruise. This is one of the best boats on the Nile with great staff. We also spent the week with a private guide Shenoda Farid Habib who was incredible, so friendly, knowledgeable and taking us to non tourist places with little extras here and there. We would highly recommend Luxor and Aswan Tours, The MS Farah cruise and overall the best guide around Shenoda.

Trip of a lifetime!
Such an amazing experience!
Mohamed is the greatest tour guide on the Nile! We felt very safe the entire trip and the sites were unbelievably awesome. We really loved The personal experience and answers to all of our questions about the history of such an amazing place. The ship was very comfortable and the food was great! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves history and beautiful scenery. Thank you Mohamed for the trip of a lifetime!

Viajamos en pareja desde Luxor a Aswan en el crucero Princess Sara, elegido por nosotros.
Todo impecable excelente aventura. El guía Yessher nos mostró lo justo y necesario para no recargar mucho el viaje, muy amable excelente guía.
Después de recorrer el sur de Egipto, viajamos en tren hasta Giza siempre con la gran ayuda de nuestro representante Hany quien nos asistió en cada una de nuestras solicitudes, traslados en las ciudades, test de pcr, incluso cambio de dinero cuando nuestra tarjeta dejo de funcionar. Esta agencia se encarga de que tu viaje sea perfecto.

One of the best travel experiences!
This was a trip for the books! My husband and I had wanted to go to Egypt for many years and we finally decided this was the year.
From the first email to Luxor and Aswan, right through the end of the trip every single detail was taken care of.
Everything far exceeded our expectations, from Airport pick up, helping us navigate immigration at the airport and transfer to different locations, everything ran smoothly.
Our guides knew their stuff. I learned so much more on this trip about Egypt than I ever learned in any history class. From Mohamed in Cairo to Ahmed in Luxor/Aswan, this trip would not have been the same without them. Both gentleman were kind, knowledgeable and we genuinely loved spending our time in Egypt with them!
Any concerns we had about traveling to Egypt were alleviated right away! Everyone we encountered on the Luxor and Aswan team provided exceptional service and kindness and we sincerely want to extend our heartfelt thanks to making this a trip of a life time.
If you are planning a trip to Egypt, do your research, educate yourself on the customs and attire in the county and go in with an open mind. I would highly recommend going with a reputable tour company such as Luxor and Aswan should you decide you want to travel here. They will take care of everything for you.
We loved the trip so much, that we plan on coming back in the next year and this time we will hopefully be brining our families with us.

Amazing experience
What an amazing trip…they took care of everything and far exceeded our expectations. Mohamed ( in Cairo) and Ahmed (Luxor/Aswan) we’re amazing. We felt safe and secure every step on the way. I cannot express in a review how happy we were with our trip. All hotels were 5 + stars as was the cruise. Do yourself a favour and book with them and enjoy your trip. Don’t miss the hot air balloon, it’s early but worth it!,

Absolutely amazing experience from booking and beyond
Holy cow these guys know what they’re doing and are completely exceptional at it. All we can say is WOW I can’t believe the excellent service and quality of the tourism we received. We went into this trip a little apprehensive we didn’t know how we would like Egypt and because I’ve never used Luxor and Aswan before and I didn’t know what to expect. The people they have working for them that we interacted with are above and beyond from the service standpoint. Specifically Mohamed in Cairo and Ahmed in Luxor/Aswan…These guys know their stuff and are excellent what they do. Honestly we went into this trip feeling a little unsure and many of our family was worried whether Egypt was safe. I can honestly tell you there was not a moment on our entire trip that we felt any hint of being unsure or unsafe we felt completely safe every moment. The hotels they chose for us to stay in we’re all 5+ stars with all the amenities that you would want. The cruise ship is big enough that they have awesome amenities yet small enough that you get to know everyone on the ship. The fact that your guide is on the ship with you is absolutely amazing… if you decide at the last minute you wanna go for a carriage ride around Luxor ( like we did) Ahmed was able to make it happen and we have an amazing time. The guides are amazing and are full of so much knowledge sure all the history and stories about the temples and sites but also a little things that make your trip even better. For our hot air balloon in the valley of kings our guide arranged it that we were the first balloon up so as we were in the air we watched the sun rise over the valley of kings. All of our tours were arrange such that we got there before the crowds and a lot of the temples we felt we had all to ourselves. We had an additional two nights in Cairo after our tour ended and both our guides contacted us at night (this is after our tour is over) just to make sure we didn’t need anything, that we didn’t need anything and were all set prior to our flights home. Honestly I’m looking for a tour for Egypt you cannot be in better hands than Luxor and Aswan.

"Egypt Made Easy!"
We took our sons (23 & 24) on a 10 day trip planned by Luxor & Aswan Travel. We originally planned this trip for 2020 and of course it was delayed until 2022, all the while Hany remained responsive, informative, transparent, and reassuring. Finally our trip happened and it was everything we had hoped it would be. Luxor and Aswan handled every detail. They arranged for the knowledgeable and fun Egyptologist & tour guide Shimaa Esmail to accompany us each day. Ask for her! Her humor kept us laughing. Her enthusiasm kept us engaged. My family jokingly called her Egypt Mom, because in Egypt she had all of their trust and they did whatever she said. I was absolutely demoted from my mom position in favor of the one and only Shimaa! She once took issue with a vendor who charged us too much. One of our favorite funniest stories to tell! She went out of her way to pick up shawarma for us and one exhausted night even brought it to the hotel. She always found with no fuss a cart with driver where a walk was long to a site. She took great photos and told wonderful stories. She knows her history and loves her country. Just wonderful to be around! Luxor & Aswan arranged for drivers who were skilled and confident and prompt and patient! My husband was particularly in awe of Syead’s (sp?) driving skills in Cairo. Ask for him! Luxor & Aswan arranged for their representative to meet us at the airport. Peter moved us quickly through the visa and money exchange and SIM card process. We watched others hop in and out of lines confused by the entry requirements. The Luxor & Aswan office staff was easy to work with and took steps to solve our unanticipated problems, including a debit card issue, as well as arranging for a doctor to come to our hotel in Giza to perform covid tests as required by USA for entry. Waleed who manages the Cairo office drove to the hotel to be present. On our own, our 10 days would have been filled with lost time and some scrambling and unease. The list goes on and on as to examples of how with Luxor & Aswan Travel was able to allow us to make the most of every moment and feel relaxed, comfortable and happy the entire trip. We spent 3 nights Cairo, 1 in Alexandria, flew to Luxor, 4 on the river cruise to Aswan, and 2 in Cairo. It was the trip of a lifetime. Don’t miss Karnak Temple, Abu Simbel, the Luxor Temple at dusk, the hot air balloon ride, and exploring sites by motor boat. In Cairo, we loved our Nile view at The Kepenski Hotel and pyramid view at the Mena House. Egypt’s history, museums, monuments, temples and tombs are astounding and it’s people friendly and it’s food delicious! Go! Enjoy! Have the time of your life!

Beyond belief!! BOOK IT.
If you’re considering this trip, just book it right now. Phenomenal experience, and perfectly coordinated. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. All we had to do was book our flights from Cairo to Luxor, and from Aswan to Cairo, and the rest was covered. We were met at the airport by our guide and a driver, and between them and the ship’s crew, we had nothing to worry about. The sites were incredible — truly ancient wonders. I have been recommending this experience to anyone who will listen. If you’re going to Egypt, make time for this!.

Magical Adventure into Egyptian History
My wife and I did a 5 day Nile Cruise on a small dhabiya boat. The boat had just 8 cabins so the whole experience was very exclusive and tailored to our needs.
From our very first contact with Hany over a year before our holiday in Egypt (2 weeks in total) he gave us advice and guidance which helped to ensure every aspect of our travel needs were met.
We were travelling with friends, one of whom had a nut allergy and a number of other dietary needs. Our personal guide, Shimaa Esmail made sure the catering team on the boat were reminded of our needs before we embarked on this leg of the adventure.
The boat was comfortable (although the bed was a little hard) and quiet because we were towed by a tug boat some distance ahead of us when it was not possible to sail (very little wind) and the crew were friendly and attentive, particularly the chef. We were concerned about the food but it was excellent and all prepared fresh on the boat.
Shimaa was an excellent guide who made sure we arrived at the busy destinations on our tours at the optimum time and always made sure there were cold drinks available. She was very knowledgeable, particularly about the hieroglyphics and their religious and cultural significance and she answered all of our various questions.
As she was with us throughout our 2 week tour she also covered the most interesting points when they were most relevant.
I would highly recommend this cruise and using Luxor and Aswan travel to help plan your Egyptian Adventure.

Awesome tour & cruise on the Nile
Luxury cruise with guided private tours of the historical sites along the Nile - nice cabin, good food, great weather & scenery. It's awesome and special to be able to travel again after two years (of Covid-19 restrictions)!
