Geweldige ervaring, communicatie met Luxor en Aswan Travel was voorafgaand aan de reis duidelijk en we zouden zeggen dat de reis was zoals geadverteerd. We waren een stel en boekten de privétour, dus we hadden een gids voor onszelf, zijn naam was George en hij was briljant, hij was ongelooflijk deskundig en gepassioneerd om ons alles uit te leggen. Ik zou de reisorganisatie aanbevelen en als je een keuze hebt, was George een geweldige gids.

Don't skip the Nile Cruise
I tried to book a Nile cruise directly with one of the cruise lines recommended in the Moon tour book but for one reason or another I could not. Finally, I was able to contact Luxor and Aswan Travel and they made all the arrangements at competitive prices. The travel company and the Mayfair Cruise itself were excellent! They assigned us a private guide for the land/tomb/temple excursions. Everything went smoothly during the cruise and the ship was very comfortable, clean and modern. Food was buffet style and it was excellent too. I definitely recommend these guys!

Visiting Cairo
My family had a wonderful experience visiting Egypt. We spent several days touring Cairo and also did a Nile cruise. Our guide in Cairo was Hoda Hassan. She is an amazing young lady: very friendly, knowledgeable , considerate and punctual. My family is not an easy one to deal with. I have two teenage kids and my parents do not speak good English. Ms. Hassan did a wonderful job at keeping teenagers interested and at the same time giving me enough time to translate for my parents.
We also appreciate Hoda’s insights into modern Egyptian life. While we enjoy history we also like to know about current situation in the country we visit. We learned a lot.

Lifetime experience with amazing guide
What a great experience! Egypt has always been on our bucket list, it has so much to offer. Therefore a cruise on the Nile became the perfect option to us - paying those temples you’ve only seen in the films a visit, potentially crocodiles watching (spoiler alert - if only we knew there are no crocodiles in the Nile anymore!) all in the comfort of our own cabin and a private tour guide…
Mustafa has definitely made our experience a special, unforgettable one. He’s a knowledgeable Egyptologist with over 20 years experience, he turned the carvings on the wall into stories so vivid as if they were alive talking to us. He has an answer to all of our questions and was happy to discuss topics we were interested in. We felt happy to be typical tourists and were left with plenty of time to take pictures while Mustafa patiently waited for us. He even got us lots of drinks at one point to make us feel welcome!
Overall it was one of our happiest holidays, we will come back to Egypt again! We would 100% recommend Mustafa.

Trip of a Lifetime! We highly recommend Hany and Luxor and Aswan Travel.
Egypt has always been high on our 'to visit' list, but we booked our trip fairly last minute a few weeks ago due to cancellation of Israel (violence with Gaza). I read all the online reviews and contacted Luxor and Aswan Travel. Hany was amazing! I asked a ton of questions and he answered them all. I don't know if he sleeps because no matter what time I messaged him, he always replied very promptly. He quickly coordinated all our domestic flights, Nile Cruise, and drivers/guides. We enjoyed 10 incredible days in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel. All the sites were beyond WOW! We were incredibly humbled by all the history and archaeological beauty there. Many many thanks to Hany and our guides (Mohammed in Cairo, and Safwat in Luxor/Aswan/Abu Simbel) for their enthusiasm and patience in sharing all their knowledge with us. A big thumbs up also for our Sonesta St George I Nile Cruise. All the meals were top-notch delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. We had an amazing time and will treasure all our memories of Egypt.

Nijlcruise en rondreis door Opper-Egypte
We hadden de meest geweldige tijd op onze Nijlcruise en rondleidingen door de tempels en locaties langs de Nijl. Ahmed Sliem was onze buitengewone gids en we kunnen niet genoeg goede dingen over hem zeggen! Hij was ongelooflijk deskundig, attent en meegaand en maakte de reis voor ons! We raden hem ten zeerste aan voor al je tourbehoeften! Dit was het hoogtepunt van onze reis van 5 weken en we hopen terug te komen en Ahmed weer te zien!

Nijlcruise met Ahmed, perfecte reis!
De reis was gewoon perfect. Het bureau was erg goed in communicatie en begrip voor onze behoeften. Ze gaven ons de beste privégids, Ahmed Sliem (ook bekend als Ahmed II). Hij is zeer deskundig en zeer professioneel, we zouden hem volledig aanbevelen! !
De cruise was boven alle verwachtingen, we zijn erg blij met de Acamar-ervaring!

Our cruise from Luxor to Aswan
The relaxed pace of the cruise was a luxury.
The food served on board Jamila was excellent. The cabins were very comfortable. The staff were helpful and courteous. The boat was clean, the services impeccable. We enjoyed the cruise enormously.
Our guide Mr Gerges was excellent too - he was friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic. he accompanied us to all the sites we saw during the cruise. We did not have any problem or worry whatsoever, Mr Gerges coordinated it all.
Overall, it was a magnificent experience.

Four-night five-day cruise on the Nile.
I would like to recommend Mohamid Basry as a private tour guide in Luxor and traveled with three older tourists from Luxor to Aswan on the MS Selima cruise ship. Mohamid had a well-organized tour and various drivers arranged to give us a wonderful experience. He was very knowledgeable on the history of all the antiquities and careful that we had a hand to hold going up the many steps required to see them. His kindness was clearly genuine.
