Luxor staat bekend als het openluchtmuseum van Egypte en biedt bezoekers de kans om de oude wereld te ervaren met zijn tempels, monumenten en graven. Maar weinig bezoekers krijgen deze historische bezienswaardigheden vanuit de lucht te zien. Op dit ongeëvenaarde luchtballonavontuur zie je Luxor hoog boven de woestijn en maak je prachtige foto's in het ochtendlicht terwijl je door de lucht zweeft.

Krijg een panoramisch uitzicht over een van 's werelds meest attractieve steden tijdens deze ballonvaart boven Luxor. Bekijk oude monumenten zoals het standbeeld van Thebe van bovenaf terwijl je over de stad zweeft, verlicht door de vroege ochtendzon. Fantastic experience, but make sure you’re prepared.
We’d read lots of reviews prior to booking a Sunrise Hot Air Balloon ride. Here are our thoughts: - We were sent a text the day before asking if we would like the 4am pick-up or 6am pick-up. The push is to the later saying it’s less busy and the first will be all in the dark. We stuck with the 4am and found the opposite to be true! We got sunrise as we assented and it was quieter when we took off to when we landed. - You get shuttled around from bus-boat-bus to standing in a field in a somewhat chaotic fashion. I honestly don’t think there is a way of avoiding this, no matter what company you use. - There are lots of hagglers by the boats and as you get off the hot air balloon (kids are carted around in a minibus to the various landing sites). - The compartments in the basket of the hot air balloon aren’t big, but the sections mean everyone gets a great view! - The fire is HOT. We would advise taking a scarf or something to cover the back of your neck. - Seeing the balloons in the air as you watch the sunrise is like nothing else. It’s truly beautiful. We did our research and roughly knew what we were getting in for. The balloon goes down and then back up again (we’ve read that a few rides were short probably because they went too low and couldn’t rise back up again!). The journey itself was very gently and the landing was very soft. Our ride was 45 mins, but I’d say we were lucky. If you can prepare yourself for the chaos and the waiting it is 1000% worth it and not an experience to be missed.

Valeu a experiência ter a vista do alto do vale dos Reis do deserto e uma parte da vegetação e incrível. Alguns pontos que não gostei : Contratamos o passeio de 50 a uma hora porém devido a alta temporada estavam realizando apenas 30 minutos para que pudessem atender mais gente … Os balões são super lotados e se tornam bem desagradável dependendo do lic que ficar não consegue ver muito bem
