Overzicht
Luxor staat bekend als het openluchtmuseum van Egypte en biedt bezoekers de kans om de oude wereld te ervaren met zijn tempels, monumenten en graven. Maar weinig bezoekers krijgen deze historische bezienswaardigheden vanuit de lucht te zien. Op dit ongeëvenaarde luchtballonavontuur zie je Luxor hoog boven de woestijn en maak je prachtige foto's in het ochtendlicht terwijl je door de lucht zweeft.

Krijg een panoramisch uitzicht over een van 's werelds meest attractieve steden tijdens deze ballonvaart boven Luxor. Bekijk oude monumenten zoals het standbeeld van Thebe van bovenaf terwijl je over de stad zweeft, verlicht door de vroege ochtendzon. Rondleidingen zijn inclusief comfortabele voertuigtransfers met airconditioning naar de lanceerplaats op de Westelijke Jordaanoever.

Not up to what I was expecting
This was my first time on a hot air balloon and I was really bummed out. The staff overall was very kind and knowledgeable but the ride itself was a bit of a disappointment. I felt like the whole time something was wrong because I could have just jumped out onto the ground and not even hurt myself that’s how low we stayed. We had one view 99.9% of the time and a very quick “rotation” to see what everyone else was seeing. We were so low to the ground that children were chasing us almost the whole time asking for $$. Being the 3rd to last ballon to take off and almost one of the first to land made you question everything as well. Things I will know to ask next time, how high are we planning to ascend (averages seems to be 1000-3000feet) we only hit 700 at the peek for a minute or two. why are we one of the last to take off but first to land? what is the best side to be on if we aren’t going to do much rotation? Like I said the crew was very kind and would explain how the balloon works or what we are looking at, but over all experience was a bit of a let down.

Staff great, ride just OK
If you’ve never been on a hot air balloon ride before you’d probably really enjoy it, the scenery was really nice, and the staff was great. I was very disappointed with how low our altitude was the ENTIRE time. It was cool to go so close to the houses but when we got out to the dessert area we were sooooo low and never got above 20-30 feet. Children were following us on donkeys asking for money the entire time because we were so low. I know that’s not the companies fault for children to follow us, but if we were high in the air (like alllllll the other balloons) that would have never happened to us. It made our whole group feel like we were getting left out because all the other balloons were hundreds if not a thousand feet above us, and they all got to land farther away (so a longer ride). It made us feel like we were on a kiddy carnival ride.

Rising with the sunrise
First time on a hot air balloon and it was the best experience ever! The take off and landing were seamless and the views were breath taking. Highly recommend!
