Luxor staat bekend als het openluchtmuseum van Egypte en biedt bezoekers de kans om de oude wereld te ervaren met zijn tempels, monumenten en graven. Maar weinig bezoekers krijgen deze historische bezienswaardigheden vanuit de lucht te zien. Op dit ongeëvenaarde luchtballonavontuur zie je Luxor hoog boven de woestijn en maak je prachtige foto's in het ochtendlicht terwijl je door de lucht zweeft.

Krijg een panoramisch uitzicht over een van 's werelds meest attractieve steden tijdens deze ballonvaart boven Luxor. Bekijk oude monumenten zoals het standbeeld van Thebe van bovenaf terwijl je over de stad zweeft, verlicht door de vroege ochtendzon. Rondleidingen zijn inclusief comfortabele voertuigtransfers met airconditioning naar de lanceerplaats op de Westelijke Jordaanoever.

PAID FOR 4:30am didn’t get on until 5:30AM cheaper booking option
Got picked up at 3:30am but did not go on the hot air balloon until 5:30. There is a cheaper option for 5:30am, this booking was for the 4:30am sunrise ballon ride…we did not catch the sunrise. Other than the timing and waiting around since 3:30 am the experience was worth it! We were one of the last balloons in the air. All the other companies had the balloons setup and ready to go when the people arrived. Our ballon wasn’t even there yet and still had to be setup.

A must do, beautiful and exciting activity but illogically high price on Viator
It was a great, fun & exciting activity. The duration was quite adequate. I got to the beautiful sunrise and took great photos. The organizers were quite friendly, especially Abul. I'm taking away one star just because I got scammed price-wise. I checked with others in the group who bought it directly from the company, it cost then around $13. But I paid $60. I am okay with paying extra for the online convenience but paying 5 times the actual cost is a scam

時間通りに迎えに来て、他の参加者をピックアップしながら現地へ向かいました。 だんだんと辺りが明るくなっできたタイミングで気球に乗り込みました。 終わった後もホテルへ送迎してくれ、集合から解散までトータル3時間ほどでした。

Safe ride, with everything taken care of
Everything was taken care of by the team responsible for this ride. Transfer from the hotel to the place where the balloons took of from (with a coss in river by boat), safe ride in the baloon, with many explanations of some historic facts of the monuments we were seeing - and all on time. Very grateful for the experience.

Unique Sunrise Experience
Overall, the trip was pretty much what I expected. The trip once inside the balloon was unique & break-taking. The ground crew and our captain were top notch. It’s interesting to see the historic sites from above, but I found it even more fascinating to see how the Nile brings so much life to that area and then there’s only desert. Getting to and from the balloon were things that future customers should take into account. Like I read in other reviews, we were rounded up like cattle to start the trip and then waited for ~20 minutes. Not sure for what but it was with dozens of other vans. Once we got the ok, all the vans quickly drove to launch destination. Then we were hurried to the balloon while being hassled by local kids On the way back we stopped by 3 ATMs so one of the customers could get cash to pay for a video upsell of the ballooning experience. Despite that, the whole ordeal took about 2.5 hours with about 45 mins in the air. And we did see sunrise while in the air. However, I’m glad I didn’t need to use the bathroom at any time… They tried to get me to give a 5-star review before leaving but I declined. On the whole, I’d still recommend the tour and they still got their 5-star review…

Outstanding experience
Super fun experience. Serene and magical. Highly recommend, especially in Luxor. I did in Las Vegas and this was by far much better! We went up to 2500 ft and the views were amazing!
