A eviter. Tres tot , tres longue atente, 30mn temps de vol et quasiment statique.
Hotel pick up at 4.00am, embarquement dans la nacelle à 6h30 le soleil était déjà levé. Entre temps on attend! Certes les conditions météorologiques sont aleatoires mais le resultat est trop décevant. Si en plus le vol promis parcourait la vallee des rois, mais non on reste presque statique pour atterir à quelques kilmoetres! De olus c est tres cher!
Mon conseil, profiter d une bonne nuit de sommeil !

Hot air balloon ride
If you go to Luxor you MUST do this! It is a great experience. There is a lot of balloons and it is very busy but we felt safe. One of us even had a fear of heights but the accent and descent were very smooth. The view of the temples and tombs as well as the sunset spectacular.

Heartbreak but good service
Good organised trip. We were well coordinated and picked up from hotel on time. Unfortunately our ride was cancelled for the day due to easterly winds. This is really critical.
We have been promised that full refund will be arranged in few hours. Let's see how it works.

Para gente que hable inglés
Habían quedado en recogerme a las 4:30 y vinieron a las 5. Más lo que tardan en recién subir. Y luego hablaron puramente en ingles mientras dice que también hablan en español en las especificaciones pero ninguno hablaba en español, así que me perdí todas las explicaciones.
Los guías en luxor eran muy agradables y atentos, pero no pongan que hablan en español porque no es así

Great flight, really worth it
We found the pre flight admin difficult
We were asked our hotel name 3 times and answered each time but it seemed to make no impact
Once we had been telephoned about 12 hours before the flight, things stepped up to what we expected
We were picked up at the agreed time and taken to the airport launching site for all balloons
We were very lucky as flying conditions were near perfect. Clear visibility and just the right amount of wind made it fab.
Officially you are not supposed to take cameras, but as long as you are not blatant, that was fine
No need to take a jumper or coat,just enjoy it as we did

Good experience
I booked for a group of 14 people. It was very nice and we went all the way up to 1800ft and had a great view of Luxor. When it was flying over Hapshepsut temple the pilot lowered the balloon to show us what’s what. We did a 360 so everyone got a view of the sunrise. Everyone was happy.
