Onze vertegenwoordiger haalt u op om te genieten van een cruise langs de Nijl op een felucca (traditionele zeilboot) tijdens een privéreis van 2 uur vanuit uw hotel in Luxor. Nadat u bent opgehaald bij uw hotel, wordt u in een voertuig met airconditioning naar het water vervoerd. Stap aan boord van de boot en ontspan op de zachte kussens. Geniet daarna van een koel drankje terwijl je zachtjes over de rivier glijdt. Kijk om je heen naar taferelen die in millennia niet zijn veranderd. Zie de kinderen in het water spelen, observeer de kamelen en zie hoe de boeren hun werk doen op dezelfde manier die ze al eeuwenlang doen, en bewonder de waterbuffel en een grote verscheidenheid aan vogels en dieren in het wild. Kijk dan hoe de zon langzaam ondergaat boven de Westelijke Jordaanoever.

Best was to experience Nile with one of the most kind people we came across.
Beautiful, calm and idyllic ride. Best way to experience the Nile! Gorgeous sunset. Great way to wind down after a day full of walking. As was mentioned in the listing, due to the lack of wind that evening, we were towed by a boat. But that did not change the experience one bit. Sabri and his team were very good. They did not pay any loud music as we wanted a very calm ride. They offered us tea. Sabri shared stories about his family. Wonderful how the message comes across despite there heavy language barrier. What sets my experience apart was how they treated my son. They made him the captain of the boat and let him have a go at the rudder. My son dozed off in the gentle rocking of the felucca. After that the team spoke quietly not to wake him up. That was so kind of them. There was a young man on that team, who carried my sleeping son on his shoulders like his own baby brother, while we got off the boat. To that young man - you are a wonderful human being. Thank you! All in all, wonderful evening to remember.

Felucca & Bananeneiland
Zeer aan te bevelen het nemen van deze felucca rit. We werden opgehaald door onze chauffeur van ons hotel naar waar onze felucca geparkeerd stond. Aladdin & zijn broer (Johnny Depp) was onze gids. Ze waren zeer deskundig en zeer vriendelijk. Ze namen ons ook mee naar banana island, zodat we het op tijd terug voor de zonsondergang kunnen maken en we hadden ook een aantal gratis drankjes en thee, dus de prijs die je betaalt is dus het is zo de moeite waard.

Prachtige Felucca ervaring
We hadden een geweldige ervaring op de Johnny Depp: Rit met Black Pearl Felucca in Luxor. De rit zelf was rustig en schilderachtig, en we kregen hibiscus thee aangeboden, wat heerlijk was. We hebben genoten van het leren over de Nijl en de omliggende geschiedenis tijdens het zeilen. De sfeer was ontspannend en gaf ons een prachtig perspectief van Luxor vanaf het water. We waardeerden vooral Mahmoud, onze chauffeur. Hij was betrouwbaar, professioneel en zo behulpzaam dat we eindigden met behulp van zijn diensten voor extra vervoer tijdens ons verblijf in Luxor. Dat maakte alles veel gemakkelijker voor ons. Kortom, een zeer plezierige en soepele ervaring. We zouden het zeker aanraden. - Faith

A must try!
This was a beautiful experience. Captain Sabri and his partner welcomed us kindly on the felucca. They made conversation and kept us company, but also provided us with space and time for ourselves. We were provided with karkare (hibisucs tea) as per the package. We would definitely recommend them to our friends. Nile on a felucca on a pleasant day - a must-do. Please note the Nile waters In Luxor are way more dreamier than in Cairo.

It was an amazing time
Our sunset felucca tour with Mahmoud was truly one of the absolute highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. Mahmoud arrived right on time to pick us up from our hotel, greeting us with a warm smile and genuine friendliness that immediately made us feel welcome and at ease. His professionalism stood out right away—he drove carefully and confidently, making the journey to the marina and back comfortable and stress-free. What really made Mahmoud exceptional, though, was his personality. He was engaging, kind, and attentive throughout the entire experience. He took the time to chat with us, answer our questions, and share insights, all while making sure we were completely comfortable. His positive energy set the tone for the evening and made us feel like we were in great hands from start to finish. Once we arrived at the felucca, Captain Ahmad took over and set sail just as the sun began to dip toward the horizon. The sailing was smooth and peaceful, a perfect way to take in the beauty of the sunset. Captain Ahmad’s skill and calm confidence were evident as he guided the boat effortlessly along the water. We spent the evening laughing, enjoying great conversation, and soaking in the incredible views. The combination of Mahmoud’s outstanding hospitality and Captain Ahmad’s excellent sailing skills made the entire tour unforgettable. It wasn’t just a boat ride—it was a memorable, personal experience that felt thoughtfully arranged and genuinely special. From the punctual pickup to the final moments on the water, everything was handled perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we are so grateful to Mahmoud for his friendliness and professionalism, and to Captain Ahmad for his expert sailing. Ask for Captain Johnny Depp
Lovely experience. Nice car with AC waiting right on time to pick us up at the hotel. Good conversation in the best English I heard from a local during this trip. Then, the sailing with captain Johnny Depp (or Jack Sparrow) in his Falucca called “the Black Pearl”. Captain is a lovely guy; we had a very nice conversation with him. No touristic cliches, no fake good vibes; just pure, human conversation, with a well-educated and informed Egyptian, again, in perfect English. We learned a lot. All this while enjoying a smooth and safe ride on the falluca, on a mild warm afternoon, watching the sunset and having tea. The best way to escape the annoying business-as-usual mindset of tour companies. This was a very different experience. One that gave us way more than we expected.
