Mini Egypt Park- guide Waleed
Had a nice time with Waleed...he is fun and informative. Such a great park and a great idea to have in minature. A few km from Hurghada. Very cheap...lots of parking. Camel ride in grounds also. Buy a coffee or sprite afterwards admiring the view. John Auckland New Zealand

Interesting visual overview of history and architecture of Egypt
If you stay with family in Hurghada, and cannot take a challenge of travelling to Luxor or Cairo (standard tours to Cairo take around 24 hours, with 6 hours driving in a bus each way), Mini Egypt gives you a great opportunity to get an idea about the most important historical buildings, representative collection of monuments of different folks and cultures of Egypt through millennia of its history, engineering projects of world importance (Suez Canal and Aswan Dam), and some artefacts which now reside far away from Egypt. Models of buildings have scale 1:25. A big part of the collection illustrates the history of the modern state of Egypt, certainly interesting but less known by average visitors. If you know the world history, you will recognize places which are represented there as well (such as El Alamein). Your visit to Mini Egypt, including the transfer from the hotel and back, can be reserved through the website of Mini Egypt Park (google it), and you will save the commission to agents. You can take a "mini-cruse" on Egyptian waterways by pedalo for 5 Euro per vessel.

Really nice park, short ride If you stay at Makadi Bay. Great with kids. Very nice guide Hose, made cool photos and guided all around park.
