Een must-have gids
Sabry, onze gids, kan worden omschreven als ongelooflijk goed geïnformeerd, en ook een zeer gracieuze en warme persoon. Hij was buitengewoon gemakkelijk om mee te verbinden. Zijn beheersing van de egyptologie en de Egyptische geschiedenis en zijn vermogen om zijn kennis op een plezierige en duidelijke manier over te brengen, zijn indrukwekkend. Ik ben naar veel gebieden gereisd en heb veel privégidsen in dienst genomen, en ik kan met vertrouwen zeggen dat Sabry de beste is waarmee we ooit hebben gewerkt.

Fantastische privérondleiding door de piramides
Deze privétour was een geweldige ervaring en om vele redenen de juiste keuze. We konden het tempo bepalen en ons concentreren op de attracties waar we tijd aan wilden besteden. Afgezien daarvan was de gids Hend geweldig. Ze is buitengewoon goed geïnformeerd en welbespraakt en neemt de tijd om het verhaal te vertellen aan de prachtige en majestueuze piramides. De piramide van Gizeh is een buitengewoon persoon, maar de piramide van Saqqara was een rijkere ervaring. Bedankt aan het team, we hebben enorm genoten van de tour.

Geweldige dag met Wessam
We hadden een geweldige dag met onze (vrouwelijke) gids Wessam, die zeer deskundig en vooral erg aardig en gemakkelijk in de omgang was. Ze adviseerde wat te doen en te zien, met name in Sakkara en Memphis, waar het goed is om iemand te hebben die je adviseert welke van de vele bezienswaardigheden je moet bezoeken. In Sakkara gingen we naar een zeer interessante tombe, die ze aanraadde en waar op dat moment niemand anders op bezoek was. We zijn vaak een beetje gestrest of geïrriteerd als een gids te veel praat en ze was gewoon perfect, wetende hoeveel we konden nemen en wanneer we genoeg hadden. We raden haar ten zeerste aan! Ze was ook geweldig in het krijgen van water, koffie en falafelbroodjes op niet-toeristische plaatsen waar we Egyptische prijzen betaalden in plaats van toeristenprijzen, wat enorm op prijs werd gesteld. Nogmaals bedankt, Wessam!

Excellent, private pyramids tour

Cairo day tours
We had a great 3 days in Cairo with Heba as our guide and Kadafi as driver. Heba knows everything and is just fun to be with. Kadafi was a safe and courteous driver. We will request both of them next trip!

Excellent guides and service on an unforgettable trip!
After reading excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and elsewhere I used Egypt Tailor Made to create a week-long Egypt itinerary combining multiple day tours they offered. The experience was excellent from start to finish! First of all, when I reached out to inquire about putting together a custom itinerary, Egypt Tailor Made was not only the quickest company to reply but they also offered the best price by far. Their prices were lower than what it would cost to book things piecemeal on Viator, but with the added advantage of having a single trusted operator to provide a seamless experience, including all airport transfers, pickups, daily tours, etc.
They were also happy to accommodate further customization to the individual itineraries. They asked for a very modest deposit to confirm my itinerary and they immediately set up a private chat by Whatsapp to make communication between the company/guides/drivers effortless. They always confirmed everything in advance and they were able to accommodate changes along the way.
For Cairo and Giza we had an excellent driver Mustafa and guide Wessam. Wessam brought the history to life at Dashur, Sakkara, Memphis, Giza, Old Cairo, and the Egyptian Museum. She also took great pictures of us on her own phone at the pyramids and shared them via Whatsapp. An unforgettable highlight was her tour of a lesser-known tomb in Sakkara called Mereruka.
For Luxor we had another wonderful driver Mohamed and guide, also named Mohamed. Our guide Mohamed dazzled us so much in our tour of Karnak and Luxor Temples that we decided to swap our two remaining half-day tours for full-day tours to maximize the opportunity. Mohamed guided us through the wonders of the West Bank, including Valley of the Kings and Medinet Habu, and also took us on a day trip to Abydos and Dendera. His mastery and enthusiasm for the art and history were exceptional. We plan to return to Egypt within the next couple years because we were so blown away.
I will definitely use Egypt Tailor Made again in the future and I'm advising friends and family to do the same. Thanks to everyone for an unforgettable trip!

Amazing sights, wonderful guide Bassam
We had two days in Cairo, and this was the first day. We had a guide and a driver for two of us. Our guide Bassam was incredible: We love to travel and he was probably one of the best guides we've had. His English is great and he was so friendly and knowledgeable, he put us at ease immediately and we knew we would be well taken care of. He took us to the Giza pyramids and helped us organize the camel ride we wanted without having to pay too much. He was flexible and patient, really tailoring the tour to what we were most interested in seeing... then he made sure we saw or tried things we didn't even know to ask about, like sugar cane juice... and made sure we had great lunches. If we were to come back again we would definitely ask for Bassam again.

Best tour in Egypt!
We had a two-day tour and a pick up at the Cairo airport. Our flight was one hour late but the Tailor Made company driver Mostafa was still waiting for us and once we had our luggage he quickly took us across town to our hotel, pointing out the major sights along the way. Te next day we meet our guide Heba. She was right on time at 8:00AM and Mostafa drove us to Saqqara for a full day of sightseeing. We asked to see twelve different tombs. Heba knew them all. She had an excellent knowledge of hieroglyphics as well as Egyptian history and art and she explained everything thoroughly and pointed out all the interesting scenes. Heba also knew all of the guards at the tombs and was easily able to arrange to get us into any of the closed tombs we wanted. She is friends with everyone. Because of her knowledge and connections we toured twelve different tombs in one day. Amazing.!
The next day we went to Giza and in addition to pyramids and Sphinx, Heba took us to the mastaba of Meresankh III, a difficult tomb to find but well worth the visit. In the afternoon we went to the NEMC museum and had a personal tour through the marvelous exhibits documenting the entire history of Egypt as well as seeing all the mummies.
If you want to construct a two-day tour tailor made to your interests and at a very reasonable price, then Egypt Tailor Made is the company for you. If you want the very best tour guide in all of Egypt, who can plan out a day to include everything you want to see and add some fantastic items you did not even know existed, then ask for HEBA. Also, MOSTAFA was a wonderful driver, always very helpful, able to negotiate the Egyptian traffic and ready and waiting throughout the day to drive us to the next stop. We had several tours during our two-weeks in Egypt but this was the best of them all. Amazing, friendly people with the highest professional standards
