Poor value for basically transport with an unlicensed, nonprofessional guide
I paid $56 for "car + guide", discounted from $80, but it was a pretty poor value because my guide Rahim showed limited knowledge of the sites and was probably unlicensed, which is illegal. A driver alone for eight hours costs $33 from most hostels in Cairo, and I wish I did that. When I asked to see Rahim's tourism license, which all guides must study for and carry, he said he forgot it. I've since learned that some of the shadier tours in Egypt use unlicensed guides who are just relatives or laymen who know a few highlights, so it's best to keep your expectations in check. Rahim and his driver arrived in a low-riding street racing coupe that wasn't very appropriate for the task. They had to drive slowly to negotiate rough segments of the road. They were nice people, and Rahim knew the layout of the sites and helped take a few photos for me, but I expected a little more, especially since a driver could do as much. There was also some confusion with the operator since the listing says there will be two hours at each of the sites for a total of 6-7 hours, but the operator told me over email that the experience was six hours in total including transit time from Cairo and back. When I asked operator Mego Tours for a partial refund for these reasons, they refused, so buyer beware.

Guida molto competente ed estrema dispobilita’ degli organizzatori
Consiglio vivamente questo tour per svariati motivi: in primis perché dopo altri tour organizzati ai quali ho preso parte, con questo tour abbiamo avuto Akram, una guida precisa, competente e disponibile che ha reso questo tour qualitativamente superiore rispetto alla media. In secondo luogo, gli organizzatori ci hanno accordato la possibilità del pick-up a Giza ed il drop-off al Cairo, il che é stato di estrema importanza per noi per snellire i tempi ed il cambio hotel. Un altro aspetto positivo è stato anche quello del prezzo, infatti questo tour risulta essere più economico della media, comparato anche con altri non presenti su TripAdvisor. In ultimo ma non meno importante, l’organizzazione e gli accordi con l’agenzia del tour si sono svolti in modo lineare rispondendo tempestivamente a tutte le mie domande, cosa non sempre frequente.

Valoración del tour
Ahmed elsawy, un guía muy amable y nos lo ha explicado todo con un castellano muy correcto. Nos han recogido y dejado en el hotel, y hem hecho este tour que está muy bien y de seis horas de duración. La comida la hemos hecho en un restaurante muy correcto. Recomendamos el tour y también el guía Ahmed. Saludos

Overdue trip
I had a magnificent time, Rana my guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and fun. I visited Saqqara, Memphis and Dashur...She had answers to all my questions... Hands down one of the best if not the best guide in the Giza area.

Mesmerizing Experience
This was my first time in Egypt and I have to tell you it was an amazing experience. Rana our tour guide made this experience unforgettable. She was very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves her job. We booked another tour with this company and we made sure she was our guide for it.

Gran comienzo
Increíble guíanza en Español con Amira. La guía ha estudiado sobre la civilización egipcia más de 8 años. Muy buen comienzo para empezar cronológicamente con las construcciones egipcias. Los tres lugares alcanzan perfecto en el tour.
