Echt de beste street food tour waar we ooit op zijn geweest! Een niet te missen, authentieke ervaring in een zeer lokale buurt. Onze gids, Maggie was zo vriendelijk en gul, en was meer dan gepassioneerd delen van haar lokale keuken en cultuur gedurende de nacht. Geweldige ervaring in het algemeen! Als je in Caïro bent, mis deze tour dan niet.

Het is een zeer geweldige ervaring om te proberen wat de lokale bevolking eten. Amal was erg voorzichtig met ons. Ze liet ons ervaren authentieke Egyptische gerechten. Je kunt haar alles vragen. Ze is heel veelzijdig, want toen de pizzatent erg druk was, beoordeelde ze dat we beter naar een andere plek konden gaan. Ze had ook veel verhalen te vertellen over Egypte dus het is helemaal niet ongemakkelijk. Dank je, Amal!

The tour was excellent and the guide so friendly and happy to answer any questions about regular Egyptian life. You will see so much more than the tourist spots, I would highly recommend this aside from the food itself which was wonderful! We were taken to around 8-10 separate places throughout the tour, ranging from hole in the wall establishments to actual restaurants. Overall we felt like we were provided a broad range of foods and experiences! As others mention, make sure you come come hungry! Towards the end of the tour we actually skipped a few places as we were so full. Thank you to the organizing team and amazing tour guide! Highly recommend this experience.

Diese Tour war einfach nur der Hammer! Das Essen war super lecker (und das sage ich als sehr wählerische Person), die Atmosphäre war top und Magy hat das alles einfach super gemanaged und ist eine sehr angenehme Person. Ich hab mich einfach rundum wohl gefühlt! Aber als Tipp: Esst am Anfang nicht zu viel, sonst könnt ihr am Ende nicht alles probieren!

What a great food tour! You feel as if you're getting a true local experience with not only the food, but the neighborhood(s), the culture and the education and information given. As the previous reviews mentioned, come very very hungry because it will be a challenge to eat or try them all. Believe me when i say it is A LOT of food! What a great way to experience the Egyptian eating culture.

That was AMAZING. This tour is an once in a lifetime experience and worth every single penny. You get insights in the daily life outside the tourist tours. Magy knows not only the best food place, she was able to answer every other possible question we had. She even helped us with our transportation issues afterwards. Make sure you got an empty stomach because you're about to eat a lot of great food. The sooner you do this, the earlier you know how to navigate around Egypt.

Had a wonderful time. Great walk through a non-touristy area of Cairo, as well as a fantastic introduction to many Egyptian foods across a range of meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, deserts). Magy was a informative guide with a great plan. Would highly recommend!

Our food tour in Cairo was a fantastic way to explore the city’s rich culture and incredible flavors! As vegetarians, we were thrilled to find a tour that had many vegetarian options We got to taste a wide variety of delicious Egyptian dishes. Each stop offered something unique, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. What made the experience even more special was the chance to walk through local neighborhoods, markets, and street corners that gave us a real glimpse into everyday life in Cairo. It felt less like a tourist activity and more like being welcomed into the heart of the city. Our guide Magy was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about both food and culture. She shared the stories behind each dish and offered insights into local traditions, which added so much depth to the experience.

This was one of the best food tours I’ve ever had. The variety was incredible!!! so many types of foods more than 30 as advertised so take small bites if you want to savor it all without missing a thing. You get to go to vendors and restaurants that you would never find on your own. Our tour guide Sarah was brilliant, she knew so much about the area and explained everything well with so much passion. I cannot recommend this tour and Sarah enough.
