Echt lokaal, geweldige ervaring met heerlijk eten en gezelschap!
We boekten deze tour last minute en we waren zo blij dat we dat deden. We bezochten tijdens de Ramadan dus het was extra bijzonder om te ervaren breken met de lokale gemeenschap. Van begin tot eind deed onze gids, Mila, er alles aan om er een onvergetelijke ervaring van te maken. Ze zorgde goed voor onze groep, begeleidde ons door verschillende lokale restaurants en leerde ons over de Egyptische keuken (hartig en zoet) en culturele normen. We voelden ons alsof Mila een levenslange vriendin was. Ik beveel het boeken van deze tour voor een echte lokale ervaring.

Great local experience - thanks Magy!
We had the best time with Magy, it was very special as she brought us to enjoy an iftar event with the locals as well as experience delicious authentic foods in a non tourist area. It was a real taste of real life in Egypt and Magy was extremely knowledgeable about the customs and all things Egypt.. 10/10 recommend !

Really have a taste of the Egyptian way of appreciatie their food!! Really good tour with too much nice food to taste: Meat, vegetables, streetfood, fresh (fruit) drinks, cookies en dessert.

The food tour was...
The food tour was absolutely amazing. We went on the tour during Ramadan and our guide started the tour by taking us to a local restaurant to take part in iftar (breakfast, but at night) - a great and very authentic start to the tour.
Our guide Maegy was exceptionally knowledgeable about the local food scene and both the food and the experience in general was really great and has my warmest recommendations.

Magadin was a fantastic...
Magadin was a fantastic guide. We tried so many different foods and got to visit different parts of Cairo and Giza and even rode in a tuk tuk.

Fantastic tour and guide
We were very pleased and satisfied with this food tour. The guide was well educated friendly woman and she showed us so much, each stop had so many things to try, it does promise 40 options and yes it's true ! there are a lot of things that you can taste at each restaurant and also the interesting street food.
My partner wanted to try something extra and the guide happily did it and didn't ask us for extra payment or anything. Highly recommend it

Memorable Food Experience!!!!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience on the food tour hosted by Ahmed. From start to finish, she was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about Egyptian cuisine and culture.
What I loved most was the focus on local, authentic dishes—the kind of places and flavours you may never find on your own as a visitor. Every stop felt carefully chosen, offering a true taste of Egypt’s rich culinary heritage. Ahmed took the time to explain the history and ingredients behind each dish, which made the experience even more meaningful.
If you’re looking to explore Egypt through its food, I highly recommend this tour. Come hungry, you’ll leave full, happy, and with a deeper appreciation for the local culture. Shukran, Ahmed, for such a memorable experience!

This local food tour with Magy was absolutely awesome. Crazy value for money — so much food that we honestly couldn’t believe it. Everything was delicious, and Magy was absolutely amazing: fun, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!
