Dit was een geweldige manier om in delen van Caïro te komen die ik anders misschien niet had bezocht. Onze gids was zeer deskundig en we werden overal verwelkomd waar we gingen. Het eten was allemaal erg gevarieerd en heerlijk. Het was veel eten! Ik ben blij dat we honger hadden. Dit zal een geweldige herinnering zijn aan onze reis naar Caïro. Transport werd allemaal georganiseerd van en terug naar de ontmoetingsplaats.

Tour met een local
Als je in Caïro bent, moet je deze tour bij Magy boeken! Ze is zeer goed geïnformeerd en deelt al haar info met u als ze toont u lokale wijken toeristen niet zou zien op hun eigen. Dit is mijn eerste keer in Egypte en ik reis alleen, maar Magy gaf me het gevoel zeer veilig en comfortabel, zelfs in het gebied waar ik de enige toerist was. Ze was ook erg meegaand met de tijd als ik was niet zeker precies wanneer ik zou landen in Caïro. Zeker boeken met Magy voor een unieke ervaring met een Cairo local!

Onze walking food tour door Cairo was zo geweldig. We kregen te maken met eten en plaatsen die we nooit in staat zouden zijn geweest om op onze eigen. Het was geweldig om omringd te zijn door de echte stadsbewoners en heerlijk eten. Kom hongerig, want er is veel om te proberen

Amazing! must do for all foodies
We enjoyed a huge variety of tasty and delicious food in this tour than we encountered during our entire 10-day trip in Egypt! It showcased everything Egyptians eat and drink. Our guide, Sarah, was fantastic. She was very patient and flexible, allowing us to try everything we wanted and even making an extra stop at a place we were interested in while walking that wasn't on the itinerary. I cannot recommend this tour enough. You will not be disappointed.

Local food tour
Magy was incredibly insightful and lovely! We took a van into the local suburbs where we tried a large variety of very local foods. Was a wonderful time! You’ll be very full by the end of it all! Thank you again for a wonderful time!

Great evening experiencing Cairo with Magy
Unforgettable experience with Magy. She shares so much more than just local food. Culture, religion, daily life, family and celebrations. Her itinerary is well planned and we sampled delicious food from breakfast and spices, right through to snacks and desserts. Excellent variety. Very important to arrive hungry! We walked through local areas that as a tourist you would never find on your own. Magy even assisted in arranging a car back to my hotel. Remember to take cash to pay for car.

This food tour made the highlight reel of my trip! Magy is a rare kind of guide and all of us felt connected to the local culture in a way that went beyond tasting some legitimately delicious food. Can safely say this was not an experience I was expecting on a first trip to a new place as a tourist.
If you're in Cairo, I highly recommend this tour as an essential experience. Such a glorious way to dive into the heart of Egyptian culture.
PS. Don't eat before you go! And ask lots of questions! Magy knows her stuff.

So much food
So much food. Good experience seeing the local perspective. Tour guide was excellent. Took us through the typical meals of Egyptians. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Would repeat.

Excellent food and culture experience - guide well versed in food and contemporary culture and so easy to talk to. Loved every stop with different food, preparations, styles and spices. Appreciated that we could walk in between the different stops and see a new neighborhood (outside of the tourist zone)..

A great food evening in downtown cairo
Our guide, was so interesting, explained all aspects about the food and meal times. She was entertaining and so knowledgeable regarding types the of food we ate. She created a friendly fun atmosphere throughout the tour.
