Unvergesslicher Tag!
Wir haben die Tour sehr kurzfrist gebucht, trotzdem hat alles perfekt geklappt. Innert wenigen Minuten wurde alles bestätigt, wir bekamen einen tollen deutschsprachigen Guide und einen freundlichen Fahrer mit neuem Auto.
Die Fahrt ist lang, aber dank einem kurzen Zwischenstop in einem Kaffee verlief sie kurzweilig.
Der Service vorher und nachher top!
Abu Simbel selbst ist unfassbar beeindruckend, die lange Reise lohnt auf jeden Fall!

Completely Worth It
Mohamed arranged this private tour for the two of us, and our guide was Mostafa. We were picked up at 7am from our hotel, and the 3 hour drive really went by like nothing as my friend and I were chatting with Mostafa about all sorts of different topics.
Mostafa is a very friendly, knowledgeable guy. We covered many topics, both on ancient and modern Egypt. On the way to Abu Simbel, you get a view of some of the desert being reclaimed as farmland by the Egyptian military, and Mostafa knows quite a bit about it. He's not able to go inside of the temples with you, which you'll find is typical of many of the sites, but gives you a very clear and detailed description before you enter.
The temples of Abu Simbel themselves were probably the most interesting sites we saw in Egypt. I recommend going, even given that it kills a day, especially if you get a good guide like Mostafa to chat to the entire journey.
Mohamed is highly responsive and a true professional. He seems to have a list of high quality guides at his disposal, and he was able to arrange tours for us with very little notice. I'll definitely contact him again the next time I'm in Egypt.

A fantastic tour! Highly recommend
My wife and I wanted to visit Abu Simbel for a long time and we are delighted that we done it through this tour. From the moment I contacted Mostafa he was a pleasure to deal with. Everything was booked and confirmed with ease.
Abu Simbel itself is a very long journey by car but the air conditioned vehicle was very comfortable and the drivers were excellent. Our guide was Ahmed and he was brilliant. He was very knowledgable and explained all the history and answered our questions in excellent English. The site itself is absolutely incredibly and well worth the journey!
I also booked a tour to Philae Temple followed by an afternoon sailing and lunch on a felucca with this company and that was a real threat as well. Ahmed was our guide for that as well and was brilliant again. The felucca sailing was fantastic and the lunch was absolutely delicious. This was also a real highlight of our trip to Aswan.
I would highly recommend both these tours with this company, and Ahmed as a knowledgable and friendly guide with great English

Cannot recommend the privet tour enough! Timing was great!
I’m on a very tight scheduled trip through Egypt and I just couldn’t say no to go and somehow see the Abu Simbel temple. But since I arrived at 11pm in the previous night to Aswan., I decided to take a privet tour instead of taking the minibus tour like everyone else. Because the minibuses depart at 4-4.30am. But my privet tour, I booked it for 9am. As a solo traveler the privet tour does cost you more., BUT I cannot tell you how good the advantage of taking the privet tour was! Not only was I well rested for the long tour., when I got to the temple there was not a single tourist there!!! I had the whole place to myself! In the morning with the minibus tours the temples are crowded with hundreds if not thousands of tourists. But since I came later in the day (around 12-2pm) there was literally no one. And spending 2hrs there is more than enough especially when you don’t have to fight for a place with others to take photos! 😆😆
I took lots and lots of photos and videos, as much as I needed. My tour guide Ahmed was a kind and patient man., explaining the historic value of the temples and helping to take some great photos for me.
Tour guides are not allowed to go inside the temples with you. So they have to explain everything from the outside. Just as I went inside the temple 3 local boys that were hovering around followed me in. Although I did feel uncomfortable that they followed me around I was not scared because Ahmed the tour guide was waiting for me right outside. And that was a relief. Because I know some tour guides just drop you off and disappear and you’re by yourself till you return to the pick up point. So in that sense I really recommend Egypt Unlimited tours as well because they really made sure I was safe and comfortable throughout my whole journey. And as a solo female traveller that was very important to me. I really cannot recommend enough!! Take the privet tour and enjoy the place all to yourself as well!!

Worth the Venture BUT Do Your Research
I traveled in a group of 5 and we thoroughly enjoyed the long journey to Abu Simbel. The drivers were great and guide was good. The temple is unique and amazing to spectate. I had also booked a Nile tour with the company, which quoted $100 USD per person for the private tour. I messaged the company to see if they would accept Trip Advisor's pricing of $85 USD per person to which NO response was given. Therefore, do your research to get the value for your money. I did not exhibit as great communication with the company as others have noted.

Great Tour to Abu Simple
Excellent Organisation - we got contacted minutes after booking and the pick up was on time. The bus was new and very comfortable. The driver slowed down before speed bumps so we wouldn't shake so much (not allways tge case in egypt ...). The tour guide knew a lot and explained everything about the temples very well! He also gave interesting information on the road and spoke German very well. I would definitvely go with them again :)
