Right from the booking process, we had single POC who was always available and helped us through the trip.
Mr. Ahmed Helmi Ali was our tour guide throughout the Nile Cruise. He is certainly the best guide we have ever seen and the key reason for our amazing once in a lifetime experience. Highly knowledgeable, passionate, patient, great English and simply awesome.

Great cruise with a very knowledgeable tour guide
The whole process of planning and booking of the trip was very easy, and I appreciated their responsiveness and flexibility. We were picked up at the airport in Aswan, and a representative brought us to our guide and driver. Everything was very well organized. We had a very new car and felt very safe with our driver. Our guide, Mahmoud, was very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed listening to him and learning from him. We also added Abu Simbel, and the trip was again very well organized. It was amazing, and we learned a lot. Mahmoud is also an excellent photographer and took beautiful pictures of us. His English is excellent, and our conversations were effortless. At the end, we decided last minute to add the balloon ride in Luxor. Mahmoud organized everything for us, and it was wonderful. We highly recommend booking with them. We had no issues at all, and the team was extremely helpful. This was an amazing experience. The ship, MS Medea, was beautiful. Our room was spacious and very clean and the food and service were great.

Unforgettable Adventures with one of Egypt's Most Knowledgeable Tour Guide

We had a fantastic 4-day trip from Aswan to Luxor with our tour guide, Ahmad (II) Sliem. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire journey very relaxed for our family. His explanations about Egyptian history, temples, and all the sites we visited were clear, detailed, and easy to follow.
He also guided us very well on local habits and customs, which made the experience even more enjoyable and comfortable. He kept a perfect balance — always available when needed, but giving us enough space to enjoy the trip as a family.
Friendly, trustworthy, and truly dedicated to his work. We felt completely at ease throughout the whole tour.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Egypt and looking for a reliable and knowledgeable guide!

Excellent guide
Mahmoud Hassan was an awesome guide, and really made this as good a trip as it possibly could have been! All crew were helpful and friendly.
Crowds were significant at some of the tour locations due to the cruise program and direction, however Mahmoud made this as smooth as possible.

Memory of a Lifetime
Hands down, the BEST experience I could ask for in Egypt. The cruise was relaxing, the staff were friendly, but what made my trip very memorable was my tour guide Michael Edwards. Michael was assigned as my private guide for 5 days. He was very knowledgeable, showed his passion for the rich Egyptian history, his enthusiasm was invigorating, very personable, professional, very attentive, lined everything up (door to door) up until dropping me off at the airport. It was overall an amazing experience, I would highly recommend it. Ask for Michael Edwards as your tour guide! And book your cruise on the Amwaj!

I would love to go back!
I decided to book with Luxor and Aswan Travel because the Operations Manager, Hany Dosouki, had quick and clear email responses. His details and suggestions made me trust working with this travel agent in Egypt. I had a customized five-day plan, including a Nile cruise and private visiting options. Our schedule was successfully managed by one guide, Mohamed (Momo), for all five days, and he suggested alternate schedules if the weather and timing were not suitable. He was exceptionally prepared, very approachable, and looked after his group--helping with Egyptian cultural customs and informing us of tourist traps. Their drivers and team were truly trusted, and I had comfortable stays at the cruise and hotel. They answered all my questions and concerns right away, including those on Egyptian history, culture, language, and other thoughts that came up. The payment processes were clear as well. I strongly recommend Luxor and Aswan Travel. Love Egypt!

Το γραφείο τα είχε κανονίσει όλα τέλεια για εμάς τους 4. Κάναμε μια 4ημερη εκδρομή στο Νείλο και είδαμε τα πιο όμορφα μέρη χωρίς να μας λείψει καμία άνεση. Ο οδηγός μας, ο Ahmed Sliem, ήταν απίστευτος, δε θα μπορούσαμε να έχουμε καλύτερο! Νιώσαμε άνετα από την πρώτη στιγμή μαζί του, οικογενειακά ❤️ και θα χαρούμε να τον ξαναβρούμε!

Super unbelievable!!!
This trip was unbelievable!! Ahmed Sliem our tour guide had a real knowledge of Egyptian history!! He made our trip super comfortable and he took us everywhere we wanted to go shop and see! The crew at the Sonesta Star Godess was very nice! The room clean and the food amazing! I did not felt uncomfortable at all in all the days!!I had a great time!

The best tour guide we have ever met in Egypt
I recently took a Nile River cruise from Aswan to Luxor with my friends, and we were truly impressed by the professionalism and passion of our guide Mr. Ashraf. Throughout every classic site we visited along the way including egyption temples and museums, he was incredibly enthusiastic, warm, and genuinely dedicated to making sure we had the best experience.
His knowledge of Egyptian history and ancient monuments was exceptional. He explained each temple, tomb, and historical site with such clarity and depth that it made the entire journey far more meaningful. You can tell he has spent years studying these places, and he shared his insights with so much patience and joy.
What I appreciated most was how willing he was to answer questions, offer additional stories, and help us understand the cultural and historical background behind everything we saw. His passion for Egypt’s heritage truly elevated the trip.
He also kindly help us find some special egyptian spices for our Taiwanese friend for gifts. We really appreciate his kind and warmness.
Thanks to him, our cruise from Aswan to Luxor became an unforgettable and enriching experience. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a guide who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely caring and enthusiastic.
