The best time in Upper Egypt
We had an amazing time on the cruise with our tour guide Hassan! Everything was super smooth. Starting with the booking of the cruise to the transportation to the airport. When we booked the cruise, we weren't aware we would have a private tour guide just for our needs. Hassan met us at the settled time in Aswan and we immediately started the tour around the city and to the Philae Temple. All the tickets and transfers were included and pre-organised. It was really nice to have the car or boat ready for you in the heat (including cold water). In the evening, Has took us to the Aswan market, which is by the way a great local experience with really nice products (especially spices) and lack of the pressure you might experience in Cairo. We even took the local bus back to the cruise which was super nice. Throughout the cruise, Has was available for us and he taught us how to write and understand hieroglyphs. During the temple visits, he focused on the writing and pictures on the walls, always giving us the context and story behind the temple. He was super flexible and always gave us space to explore the temple on our own when we wanted to. He even organised a small surprise for us on the cruise. We were on the cruise Historia which is really modern with great design and divine food. Overall, I could recommend the travel agency as well as Hassan as a tour-guide 11 out of 10.
PS: We also highly recommend the hot-air balloon trip in Luxor. Watching the sunrise over the Valley of the Kings is something you will remember for the rest of your life!

Experiencia deliciosa en Alexander the Great with Hassan
ALEXANDER THE GREAT
Estuvimos en el crucero Alexander the great. Personal encantador, super atento. Nuestro guía Hassan Abdel Maged fué increíble. Nos explicó todos los templos de maravilla. Sus tours fueron completos pero sin alargarse demasiado en tonterías. Lo pasamos estupendamente. Además Hassan nos ofreció unas excursiones adicionales que fueron interesantísimas. Nos compraba agua y comida típica para probar y nos ensenó Luxor y Asuán por su lado más auténtico.
La comida del barco es excepcional. Hay muchisima elección en el buffet y por la noche ponen un menú a la carta que está fenomenal.
Las habitaciones son muy grandes, con 2 ventanales grandes y el barco es pequeno, lo que hace que sea muy personal y que el servicio sea maravilloso.
Lo único malo del barco, los masajes. Son un desastre y tuvimos problemas al pagar, porque nos quería cobrar más (decía que su masaje había sido extra largo).
Una experiencia maravillosa. Nos quedamos con el nombre del barco y del guía porque lo repetiríamos tal cual (pero sin masaje).

Just exceptional
Our whole experience with Luxor and Aswan travel was just EXCEPTIONAL! From the moment we emailed them to book our trip, to the tour guid, to the boat, everything was just perfect. We felt taken care of and Hany who took care of our booking was available 24/7 to answer all our questions.
A special mention to Ahmed Helmy who was the best tour guid we ever had (no exageration) he picked us up from the train station when we arrived to Aswan and was very passionate and knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He explained with passion every site we visited and would spend time explaining hieroglyphs.
We came out of this experience more knowledgeable and able to decipher hieroglyphs.

9 days in Egypt with Hany
We had a wonderful time in Egypt. From the moment we landed in Cairo we were well looked after by Hany and his team. The transfers were on time. We spend 3 days in Cairo and had a wonderful time with Mohammed. We flew to Aswan. My child lost his iPhone in the airport. Hany and his team managed to track it, find it and bring it to us on our way to Luxor. They created a miracle 😊. We spend 3 days on the Nile which is highly recommended. George joined us and made a great effort teaching my 10 and 12 year old about Egypt.
I would recommend Hany Luxor & Aswan travel any time.

Awesome cruise trip
I wanted to do this cruise for quite some time. I was very interested in the Egyptian ancient culture. This cruise filled my expectations. The boat is clean and comfortable, attention to guest is very good and food serve is good quality. As you don't see people asking for money in the streets be prepared with a lot of small bills to give tips, which is very common. You receive a lot of small and big services and it is expected to give tips depending on what you receive. In the boat though, you tip once at the end of the trip for everyone. This cruise has a good balance between touring and leisure time. I really enjoyed, there are many options of boats to do this cruise, but I definitely recommend ACAMAR boat.

Well organised and a friendly Egyptologist
We found this trip through their website. The communication with the agent was very fast and answered all our questions. we had to pay 50% of the price at the time of the booking and the rest of the money in one week before the trip when they were going to send us the second invoice. They never sent it though, that made us worry a little bit about the reliability. and we paid everything in the boat.
The whole trip was very well organised, we didn’t need to think about anything.
We had our private tour guide guy George with us all the time. George is a well educated and passionate Egyptologist that had an answer for every question we had about the culture of Egypt, the history, ancient or modern and all the temples we visited. He was extremely friendly and assisted us in everything we needed. Even when we had some stomach problems he offered to make the arrangements with the chef for our dinner.
The food in there Cruise was good they have done different things every day in a big variety to choose. The quality was okay and the taste was fine. Everyone on the ship was friendly although most of the staff did not speak English

Explore Ancient Egypt
Loved everything about the trip! We started in Cairo, spent a day in Alexandria ( I would have loved an extra day here, so much to see!) Then then 4 day cruise which was amazing! We were able to see many temples, and have plenty of time to relax and just enjoy the view. Our tour guide, Shimaa Esmail, was wonderful! She was thoughtful, helpful, funny and very knowledgeable about everywhere we went. If I'm ever in Egypt again I will be requesting her! An experience of a life time!! Thanks for a great trip!

Amazing experience
We had an amazing time on this trip. The company arranged everything and made it so easy for us to see all the best sites from Aswan and Luxor. The stay on the boat was great thanks to the wonderful staff, from the kitchen to housekeeping. The best part was our tour guide, George, who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He went way above and beyond to make our trip as fun, comfortable, and informative as possible. We were amazed by all we learned in a short time and highly recommend this tour and especially our guide, George!
