Great experience, I travelled with my son and we had a privte Guide Mahmoud, who knows a lot and taught us much of the interesting Egyptian history. We had the opportunity to go also to Abu Simbel and a Nubian village for $ 330 extra.

3 nights / 4 days of Nile cruise is a well organized tour for Aswan and Luxor area. First 1-2 days are more chill, and the last days are a bit in rush. The reason for that is all the ships follow the same route at the same time. This makes all the visited places very crowded. Our private guide Mo was very knowledgable about Egyptian history, and the information he gave about historical artifacts made this tour more special.

We had a fantastic experience on the cruise between Aswan and Luxor. The accommodation on the boat was lovely, and the staff we're friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. We really felt we got to know the staff and received a personal service from them. Everything was organised well, even when the weather (strong winds) delayed the boat so visits and tours had to be slightly reorganised, everything ran smoothly. Our guide, Mahmoud, was brilliant throughout the trip, giving us all the important information about the sites we were visiting, and his own personal insights as well. He really went the extra mile (literally) when we wanted to walk between the temples of Karnak and Luxor, rather than get back into the car, so we could experience the Avenue of Sphinxes, coming with us despite being in the midday heat, and sharing his knowledge.

We did the tour and enjoy it very much. Ask to get the same guide as us Ahmed Sliem. He was funny, insightful and showed us the best time possible! Also, try to do the Hot air balloon thing ; it was unbelievable! Big Love from David and PL

This company was great. There were several issues (sandstorms, etc) and this company proactively handled them all for us really well. There is a guide or driver with you literally every second you are not on the boat. Our guide was Ahmed Sliem. Be sure to ask for him specifically. He might be the nicest and most respectful guide we have ever had. Your trip will be better using this company with him as your guide.

From temples to tombs, every stop on our journey was enriched by his storytelling and insight. He was not only informative but also patient, professional, warm and genuinely funny—making every day feel special and enjoyable. Dr. Ashraf even went above and beyond to celebrate one of our birthdays on our Nile cruise with a surprise cake and a custom-made cartouche. It was such a thoughtful and unforgettable moment. Even other tour guides stopped to tell us we had the best—and they were right. If you’re heading to Egypt, do everything you can to book a tour with Dr. Ashraf. You won’t regret it!

We had a great experience with Luxor and Aswan Travel and our guide Ahmed Sliem. All the admin in the run up to the trip was handled with no fuss. On the trip itself everything worked perfectly. Ahmed made sure everything was exactly how we needed it, went above and beyond in making us comfortable and was a great uide round the temples and tombs; knowledgeable and fun but not overbearing and giving us plenty of time for us to explore as a family after explaining the histroy and showing us some highlights and interesting features at each site.

We have just enjoyed a 4 day trip down the Nile with our guide Ahmed Sliem. Ahmed was very welcoming and took care of everything for us. He gave great explanations about the amazing sites that we visited, but also gave us time at each place to explore as a family. Thank you Ahmed
