We had a beautiful sailing experience and meal in the Nubian village. Our guide Ahmed was super flexible in adjusting the schedule to suit our needs with our young children. We’ve had many guides on this trip, but if the way our children responded to him is any guide, he is a good person who is doing a great job in Egypt.

The trip started with a cruise from the port in Aswan, we took the traditional felucca, which is very natural and relaxing on the Nile. After the cruise we visited the Nubian village, which is a very colorful sight seeing in Aswan beside the desert mountain. The guide told us a lot Nubian history and traditions, which makes the trip more interesting.

We had the best time exploring Aswan and the Nubian Village with Moataz as our guide! From the very beginning, his passion, energy, and enthusiasm were contagious. He brought every site to life with stories, history, and little details that made everything so much more memorable. What really stood out was how much he truly loves what he does – it shows in the way he connects with people and makes the experience fun, engaging, and unforgettable. Moataz went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, learned a lot, and enjoyed every moment. If you’re visiting Aswan, we can’t recommend him enough!

Excellent service by Moataz, he is a very energetic person full with enthusiasm. He has taken us around the felucca boat followed up with a motor boat to see the sunset at Nubian place. He has taken the time and effort to take pictures and video of us and also gave us our person space. Not only this he has taken us to an essence place which was initially not part of the tour. When we got to the main place, he showed us around the Nubian culture and explained it really well. Would recommended

This is a great tour if you are interested in Nubian culture and the Nubian people. Our guide Omar was very professional and Nubian himself, so he had the knowledge to answer also a lot of political and economical questions I had. After all, the story of the Nubian people is not only one of former proud and beautiful nation of people but also a very sad one, since their homes and lands were destroyed for the high dam. We really appreciated the Tour and our guide Omar, who told us about their story so beautifully, that the Nubian people and culture came alive again for the duration of our tour. A great experience and an important lesson to not forget about this proud nation.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE VISITING ASWAN!!! From the felucca ride to the Nubian village was the best experience of my life. Moataz was superb!! He was so friendly and welcoming and knew lots of interesting information. He made sure we had a lovely relaxing time on the felucca watching the sunset over the Nile. The Nubian village was cute and they let us try lots of local spices and Egyptian bread & dips.
