Bezoek de oude bezienswaardigheden langs de Nijl, zoals de Kom Ombo- en Edfu-tempels, en bovendien de unieke zandsteengroeve Gebel El-silsila.

We had an amazing time in the sunset Felluca ride on the Nile with JJ Jamaica Felucca in Aswan. It was a two hour ride. We were four of us and had the entire boat for us. They served us tea, coffee and cakes and were very friendly with us. Absolutely wonderful experience. We also booked the motor boat for our tour to the Nubian Village on our 3rd day in Aswan. We highly recommend JJ Jamaica Felucca. Cheers!!!

The felucca was such a great experience. We had the best captain, Tarek, and the best cook, Sulinam. The trip was very relaxing and the food was incredible. We slep with mosquito nets and cozy blanquets, so even in february was nice.

We have been in Egypt for a week and this has been, so far, our favorite experience. While we know many other tourists choose cruises, the felucca offers a real, tangible taste of the Nubian lifestyle. It mixes adventure, sunsets and surprisingly, incredible food. Tarik and Suliman have been incredible hosts, always on top of details and making sure we were taken care of. We would repeat 100%!

We had the most amazing 3-night, 4-day trip up the Nile on a felucca with Waleed as our captain and Ahmad as our cook. It was such a chilled-out experience, made even better by sharing the boat with a lovely couple from the Netherlands. The food? Absolutely incredible. Ahmad somehow whipped up a huge variety of delicious dishes in the tiniest cooking space it was honestly mind-blowing. We spent our days reading, eating, chatting, and even learning some Arabic. By the end, the four of us were wishing we could keep sailing all the way to Esna and Edfu. The only slight downside was the mosquitoes on the last night, they got us good! Turns out they have mosquito nets available, so definitely ask for them ahead of time or bring your own to cover your face while sleeping. Otherwise, we were super cozy, even in winter, with plenty of blankets and endless hot drinks thanks to Ahmad. This trip was hands down the highlight of our time in Egypt. Waleed and Ahmad made it unforgettable, and we can’t thank them enough. If you’re considering a felucca ride, do it with these two, you won’t regret it! Shokran Podadez & Tomadem

We booked a 2nights felucca tour and while organising it, the staff has been very professional, friendly and quick in replying our questions. Tarek, the felucca captain, was experienced and the food during the sail one of the best during our two weeks trip in Egypt. JJ staff also helped us in arranging the transfers from Marsa Alam to Luxor and back with reliable drivers. We also slept one night at JJ new open guest house and everything was very nice. JJ and his family were warm, welcoming and prepared a delicious home made dinner. We absolutely recommend JJ Captain to all the people who want to experience the real Egypt while in Assuan.

Friendly staff, comfortable boat with loo. Probably the best food we had in Egypt! We sailed from Aswan to somewhere south of Daraw, and JJ also organized an excellent driver for us to travel to the temples at Kom Umbu, Edfu and Esna, before reaching our hotel in Luxor. Total cost for a day and a night on the felucca, with lunch, dinner and breakfast plus driver for the day was $250. Totally recommend it!

An amazing experience on a traditional sailing boat. Way better than the cruise-ships. The captains were very nice people, especially Shaggi was very fun!
