Zeer goede communicatie op voorhand via e-mail.
We regelden via hen:
- de uitstap met boot en kamelen naar het klooster, de tombes van de Nobelen, het botanische eiland en het Nubische dorp.
- We regelden ook met hen een uitstap naar Abu Simbel en Philae met gids
- 2 nachten en een dag op een feloek op de Nijl die ons bracht van Aswan naar Daraw + Kom Ombo + Edfu met gids. Over de kapitein en zijn bemanning: wat een lieve en warme mensen!
-Transport naar Luxor,
Het was dus tiptop in orde én alle afspraken werden vlekkeloos nagekomen. Zalig, zo’n partner!

Jolie promenade en felouque et découvertes culinaires
Nous avons passé deux agreables journées à bord de la felouque de Tarik et Souleymane, lesquels sont très attentionnés.
Rythme de croisière lent qui permet de profiter de beaux paysages (faune, flore, vie des locaux)
Les repas, tous préparés a bord avec soin, étaient d'excellente qualité !
Le confort à bord (couchage, toilettes...) est assez rudimentaire mais l'expérience est vraiment inoubliable.
On recommande fortement pour une durée de 2-3 jours.

Il nilo autentico
Abbiamo passato due notti in feluca coccolati da un equipaggio fantastico che si è preso cura di noi e ci ha mostrato le meraviglie del nilo accompagnandoci anche in meravigliose escursioni nei mercati locali. Esperienza che richiede sicuramente un grande spirito di adattamento, ma che regala dei ricordi indelebili, meravigliosi ed autentici, lontano dal turismo di massa. Anche se la barca non è nuovissima ha un bagno molto pulito e la cucina di Ahmed è veramente la migliore: Non abbiamo mangiato così bene neanche in rinomati hotel e ristoranti. Abbiamo passato il primo giorno in navigazione, mentre nel secondo abbiamo visitato un villaggio ed il tempo di Kom Ombo in solitudine (i barconi non erano ancora arrivati). Dopo un autista ci ha accompagnato alla meravigliosa Edfu e al nostro successivo albergo a Luxor. Consigliata!

Tranquil sailing trip on the Nile with a great crew
We arrived straight from the chaos of the train station onto a river of tranquility. We were expecting a group tour but were pleasantly surprised it was just us for our one night feluka trip.
We stopped for lunch on a grassy bank with local children swimming nearby. Captain Ahmed cooked flat bread and baba ganoush for lunch along with felafels, salads and fruit.
Ahmed and Wally were happy for my husband to assist with the sailing and we set off out of Aswan. Once the river opened up Tim was allowed on the helm and improved his skills with each tack. The next challenge was to cant the sail to get under a bridge. I lounged on the cushioned deck for the afternoon. Stopping for the night on the bank we had a fabulous dinner after sunset of soup, bbq chicken, vegetable stew and rice.
Next morning after breakfast we met our driver to Aswan via the animal market in Daraw and guided temple visits.
Thanks to Ahmed, (& Mrs Ahmed for the home cooking) Wally and Tamer(driver) for making this such a memorable trip.

Best way to cruise the Nile
We did a 3 nights Felucca trip from Aswan up to near Edfu with JJ Jamaica and it was the highlight of our trip to Egypt. Nori met us on the departure day and sailed with us a few miles up the river just to check everything was okay. The boat was very spacious for only 2 people, and really clean. The crew captain Shaggy and Ussi (sorry not sure on the spellings) were both brilliant, and the food they prepared for every meal was fantastic, although always way, way too much. Their sailing skills were first class, particularly when we sailed through a narrow gap in a partially constructed bridge in one smooth tack. The highlight through was just relaxing and watching the Nile flow by with only the sounds of the wind in the sail. We moored up each night in good spots for our evening meal and a swim, sleeping was very comfortable with the boat all wrapped up and the pop up mosquito nets they provided. We also had plenty of stops at interesting sites such as Daraw for the camel market, Kom Ombo temple, a local village and Gebel el-Silsila. We had considered booking a cabin on a standard cruise boat, and although felucca's are quite basic so glad we went for the traditional felucca option, would love to do it again some day. Puro relax!
Ho svolto il viaggio in due notti, con partenza da Assuan nel primo pomeriggio e visita a Daraw e Kom Ombo il giorno successivo. Poi mi hanno organizzato un trasporto in auto per raggiungere il tempio di Edfu la mattina del terzo giorno e da lì ho proseguito per Luxor.
Il viaggio scorre lentamente e si è immersi nel silenzio della valle del Nilo. Io viaggiavo sola, ma non mi sono mai annoiata e, anzi, ho apprezzato un po' di pace dopo i giorni frenetici nei templi e al Cairo. L'equipaggio è stato super: Tarek mi ha accompagnata e affiancata ovunque, conducendo la nave con maestria, e Sulayman ci ha aiutato, preparando ottimi pasti e monitorando la nave quando ci allontanavamo.
Sicuramente un'esperienza spartana, non adatta alle persone schizzinose, ma per me indimenticabile e assolutamente da non perdere!!

Sur le Nil en felouque: rien de mieux!
J'aime voyager seule et passer 2 nuits en compagnie de Tariq et Soulaiman à bord d'une felouque a été une belle expérience. Naviguer au calme, contempler les oiseaux et les superbes paysages égyptiens fut un plaisir. Les repas étaient délicieux et adaptés à un régime végétarien comme demandé, avec des produits frais et une vraie attention à mes préférences. Un séjour inoubliable.

La mejor faluca de El Nilo
La mejor manera de navegar por el Nilo, nada es comparable al silencio y la magia de una faluca. Si además lo haces con JJ Jamaica aprenderás muchísimo sobre la cultura Nubia, conoceras lugares increíbles, además de los de obligada parada, y volverás.No es mi primera vez con ellos, son los mejores, grandes profesionales y mejores personas. Hasta la próxima!!

Nous avons deux jours uniques dans la felouque de Hani et Shagy! Au programme: paysages naturels fabuleux, cours de navigation en douceur, cuisine fait maison délicieuse et beaucoup de partage avec cet équipage accueillant et souriant. Un moment inoubliable qui vous fait découvrir le pays!

Voyage en felouque sur le nil
Très bon moment passé avec Slimane et tarik entre Assouan Et louxor.la felouque est très confortable. Les repas préparés délicieux.je recommande !
