Absolutely impressed by this experience! We started our journey in Aswan and were taken to Philae Temple, Aswan Dam, Abu Simbel by road in spacious AC luxury vehicles. Besides that, we had a really comfortable stay on the cruise with good rooms. The food was decent but lots of variety. The staff were extremely nice. I would like to make a special mention for our tour guide, Hady. He is an extremely social and knowledgeable person. His memory is impeccable and knows every tiny detail which he does not fail to share with us. Hady always made sure we were taken care of and was extremely accommodating. I highly recommend Hady and this experience. This cruise made our trip to Egypt extremely relaxing despite the early wake up calls!

It was an unforgettable experience. Mohammed abdo , our guide, was fantastic and has a vast knowledge about the ancien Egypt. He explained in details the temples and everywhere we went. So I learnt a lot but also had fun. Our group bond together and this was nice. I am not giving 5 stars because I had an issue with the socket in my cabin. My minibar fridge was not working. The problem was the socket that it was connected. The kept sending the staff but not an electrician. I complained for two days that it was not working and it was not take serious enough. They tried to do things that clear was not working. Until I asked to move the fridge to another part of the cabin. I felt that they didn't take seriously my requested taking in consideration that I explained that I need to keep my insulin inside the fridge.

Seeing all the temples was really nice and the whole planning was on time. The food was really good and the rooms were clean. The only problem we had was the continuous tip demanding from the staff. On our welcome session our guide requested money. $30 USD per person! He said that is the group tip for the whole cruise. But the staff members still requested more tips and once I mentioned that I have already paid the tip, their behaviour changed. The guide asked for more money at the end which was not nice at all! If there is any fixed amount for tip, you need to mention that in the details of your trip. They keep saying this is the culture in Egypt and you must respect that. This excuse is insulting for the tourists as they are not ATM machines. Also the tourists have already paid for these services, so they should not be pressured for more money. On the other hand I met many other Egyptians through my long trip all over the Egypt and that’s not the norm. May be that’s the culture of those who are in tourism industry, but they don’t represent the whole country. I am not against tipping, but I am against pressuring people to get something out of them. Tips are not mandatory! And you can’t define a fixed amount for it unless you communicate that with your clients beforehand. I am pretty sure if they change this attitude no one will be offended and they will end up to attract more tourists to this magnificent country.

I went on this cruise with my wife and chose the private guide option. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The itinerary is quite packed, but it provides a unique opportunity to visit all the most important and breathtaking places between Aswan and Luxor. The cruise itself was very nice, clean, and well-equipped. The food was tasty, and the variety was broad. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The staff from Imperial Egypt, including both drivers and guides, were also very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. A special thanks to Professor Isam, who waited for us in Kom Ombo and gave us a fascinating lecture about the ancient Egyptians, and to our guide in Luxor, Talaat Abdo - he was the best we could have asked for! He had extensive knowledge, was incredibly kind, and helped us when we got sick. We had a wonderful time and will remember this trip for a long time. Highly recommended!

L’expérience générale était agréable. Notre guide, Mohammed abdo, se faisait un devoir de tout nous expliquer et il était remplit d’informations pertinentes. Lea groupes sont de 20 personnes (nombre idéal). Les chambres et le bateau étaient propre et tout le nécessaire est fourni. Petite douche, mais eau chaude! Les repas étaient bons (breuvages payants avec un prix raisonnable). La cadence des visites sur site étaient bonnes (toujours du temps libre). Cependant, l’horaire est très chargé alors ce n’est pas une croisière de relaxation!

An experience of a lifetime thanks to our tour guide Mr. Mohamed Abdul. He made everything possible, explaining and sharing his vast knowledge about Ancient Egypt and all the monuments we visited!!! Mohamed was always pleasant, with a big smile and lots of fun too! We were his Ramses the Great group and he enlightened us with all the details about the history of each Temple, he amused us and assisted us with all our inquiries. Thank you Mohamed and Haney for the excellent cooperation and the amazing experience we had!

An unforgettable experience, but be prepared — the program is quite intense. The 4-day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor is beautifully organized and packed with incredible sights, but the schedule can be demanding, with early wake-ups and back-to-back temple visits. That said, it’s absolutely worth it. You get to see so much in a short time, and the feeling of sailing on the Nile between destinations makes everything even more special. The boat was comfortable, the food was very good, and everything ran smoothly throughout the trip. A big highlight was our guide, Mohamed Abdul. He was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely caring. Despite the busy schedule, he kept the group engaged, explained everything in a way that brought history to life, and made sure we were all comfortable and enjoying the experience. If you’re okay with a full, active itinerary, this cruise is one of the best ways to experience Egypt. Highly recommended.
