Lasciati stupire dall'ultima meraviglia esistente del mondo: un'esperienza favolosa! Qui troverai un totale di tre piramidi: le piramidi Chephren, Cheope e Mykerinos. Puoi scoprire la zona a piedi, a cavallo o in cammello. Durata tra 2 e 3 ore.
Dopo aver visitato le piramidi di Giza, andrai alla Grande Sfinge, di gran lunga la sfinge più grande e conservata. Consiste in una testa umana su un corpo di leone. La Sfinge è stata scolpita dal resto di un tumulo calcareo che fungeva da cava per la Grande Piramide di Cheope. Durata circa 20-30 minuti.
Alla fine della giornata, poiché tutti gli autobus devono attendere il convoglio in viaggio dal Cairo a Sharm, effettuerai una o due delle seguenti fermate: visite caratteristiche al museo dei papiri e alla fabbrica degli oli essenziali. Queste due attrazioni ti introdurranno alle antiche tecniche egiziane per la realizzazione del papiro e delle essenze. Queste due interessanti visite aumenteranno la tua conoscenza della vita quotidiana nell'antico Egitto e aiuteranno anche gli agricoltori egiziani che lavorano in questi settori e preservano questi antichissimi prodotti artigianali dell'antico Egitto. Wir hatten eine Schiffsreise mit der MSC gebucht, wo die letzte Station auf der Kreuzfahrtreise Porto Soghna war. Da es sich hierbei um ein Frachthafen handelt und Cairo nur gute 90 Minuten Autofahrt entfernt liegt, haben wir sehr kurzfristig (48 Stunden vorher )über book Tour egypt online einen Tagesausflug gebucht. Die Organisation lief sehr gut,jegliche Korrespondenz lief per Whatsapp. Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe mit sechs Personen. Unser Reiseleiter und Busfahrer haben einen sehr guten Job geleistet. Was haben wir gesehen? Zuerst das ägyptische Museum,die Pyramiden, die Sphinx und einen kleinen Eindruck von Cairo. Bei den Pyramiden hat uns der Reiseleiter eine Pferdekutsche zu nehmen empfohlen, um die Pyramiden besser zu sehen und geniessen zu können. Wir haben es echt nicht bereit. Es war noch genügend Zeit eine kleine Nilfahrt via Boot zu unternehmen. Fazit: Wir haben in der kurzen Zeit, welche uns nur geblieben ist, durch den Reiseleiter viel gesehen und konnten dadurch einen kleinen Eindruck von Cairo erhalten. Preis-Leistung hat auf jeden Fall gepasst!

Abbiamo davvero apprezzato molto questo viaggio. Sarwat era così divertente e molto ben informato sulla storia e la cultura e conosceva anche i posti migliori dove andare per delle belle foto. Le fermate dei negozi di papiri e profumi sembravano più un'opportunità per vendere oggetti e si sentivano un po 'seccati nell'acquisto. Tuttavia, eravamo interessati agli aspetti informativi di queste fermate. L'unico aspetto negativo sarebbe il tempo necessario per andare e tornare. Ci sono molti posti di blocco da attraversare e sembra che gli autobus siano spesso fermi per 30 minuti buoni. Comprendiamo che questo è essenziale, ma rende solo una giornata estenuante. Detto questo, nulla di tutto ciò ha influito sulla qualità dell'esperienza stessa e lo consigliamo vivamente.

Ben je in Sharm el Sheikh en wil je toch de piramides van Gizeh zien, dan is dit een redelijk geprijsde gelegenheid om die wens te vervullen. Een bliksem bezoek is het wel, verwacht niet dat je in alle rust door het Egyptisch museum kan lopen, een snelle toer langs een aantal stukken en een korte blik op de graf items van Tut Ank Amon. Daarna een korte rondvaart over de Nijl gemaakt niet inbegrepen maar voor ongeveer €10, ook niet erg duur was wel even een relaxmomentje.Bij de Piramides iets meer tijd. Jammer vond ik dat de reis eindigde met een bezoek aan een parfum en en een papyrus winkel, geen verplichting tot aankoop maar je moet toch wel even duidelijk maken dat je niets gaat kopen als je daar geen zin in hebt. Bereid je wel voor op een lange busreis, in ons geval tussen kerst en nieuwjaar hadden we zowel voor de heen als terugreis 10 uur nodig. Onze zeer vriendelijke gids in Caïro legde uit dat er in het kerstseizoen veel politiecontroles zijn, die onze reis vertraagden. Maar ook buiten dit seizoen zou ik eerder op 8 dan 6 uur per rit rekenen. Ondanks de kritiekpunten toch blij dat we het hebben gedaan,

Cairo Tour Guide Sarwat was excellent . Very caring and keeping group together in friendly way. Bus journey was not planned I think as too many stoppage and then shifting to other bus that prolonged journey time

This was truly an amazing trip The bus trip we took was about 11 hours long with a stop half way at a rest stop (you will need to bring your own toilet paper for the toilets and bring food if you want to avoid having to buy it there). When we arrived we met our incredible guide Srawat, he was so well informed and took us round the museum telling us so much information, we went with him on a boat trip on the Nile (£10 each), taking pictures for us and giving us info about places we passed. At the pyramids gave us so many tips on how to avoid being scammed by salesmen for camel rides and pictures too. The entire time we were with him he was very helpful and reassuring (I was very nervous), and confidently acted as a sort of protector against people trying to get us to buy things we didn’t want. You could tell he really enjoyed his job and gave us so much information about not only the sights we saw but also what it’s like to live in Egypt, aspects of Islam, history and customs of local people etc. I would take the trip again purely due to his kindness and genuine nature. We were picked up on the bus again for the 11 hour trip back to sharm and taken to our hotel. Very tired but a truly amazing experience.

Our trip to Cairo was change due to lack of tourist. We agreed to change the day, but we went straight after arriving to the hotel. We went to Cairo at 00.30 on Sunday. We arrived to Cairo museum around 10am. Our guide Sarwad was amazing, he had very good knowledge of the city and the history, he was very helpful. Pyramids are amazing. Ride on the Camel lovely. Presentation at oil shops very good. We left Cairo around 17.30 and arrived to the hotel at 3am on Monday. Definitely the length of travel time was too long.
