Travel and Cairo experience

Initial journey from our hotel to the Coach via minivan was not pleasant. Coach ride there wasn’t good at all, very uncomfortable. However the day brightened when we were placed in the loving hands of Fahme - our private tour guide. He was super enthusiastic with giving us new information and helped us take loads of great photos. He was generous, kind and made me forget about the journey there. Best tour guide in Cairo by a mile! The journey back from Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh was just as unpleasant as the trip in the morning, but we’ll always remember the great Fahme for his excellent service!

Hi,I would like to say that I went to sharmel sheikh eygpt flight was with tui Airlines 3/7/24 flight took off at 3.10 and I would like to say that the tui staff were excellent and the lady attended who gave me 2 paracetamols for pain was lovely and she told me that the pilot was very dishy and I asked could I wear his hat and she told me yes she would tell him his name was josh as we landed it was all in a hurry we came out to get a taxi to our hotel all of the tui staff and pilot and co pilot was waiting for their taxi well I thought should I poke the lady with my stick but she turned round and i said I am still here and she laughed I said with is josh bum and he came forward I told him that I asked to wear the captains hat and he said to me you can wear his hat I did had a picture taken and I thank them all they were wonderful and excellent service. My only problem and downfall of the trip is that I have assisted help Manchester Airport was brilliant and went above and beyond they were 3 assisted of us me I use wheelchair and unsteady on my feet and bad pain when walking I found it very very daunting and I felt if I fell in the aisle I would not have the strength to get myself up and my granddaughter and her boyfriend helped me to my seat row 13 now I watched the other poor people struggle to get to their seats both of them were halfway same as me my thoughts on this matter is that you need to put the disabled people first and the assisted passenger NEEDS TO BE PUT FIRST AND SECOND THEY NEED TO BE PUT YES YOU PUT THEM ON FIRST BUT MYSELF AND I THINK EVEN THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE DISABLED NEED TO BE NEAR TO GO TO THE TOILETS but I did have a fantastic time with tuition staff and would love to fly again with you. Great tour to Cairo

Very good tour to Cairo with two teenage boys. All the “must see” was included. Extremely competent and friendly guide and staff. Very happy that the commercial “after sales” part was toned down to two short visits to papyrus poster shop and an aromatic oil shop. Cost for Nile boat tour was additional as indicated but was worth the fee. Very good food at local restaurants included but very expensive drinks on top. As warned, the transit to Cairo from SHARM was app 7 hours each way but comfortable bus. The pickup from hotel at the start of the tour was quite delayed so we were waiting outside for the bus for close to an hour. All in all a super good tour that can only be highly recommended. Super good “value for money”

Museum - 8/10 , Nile boat ride (optional) (£10) - 7/10 , Pyramids - 10/10 , Perfume shop - 2/10 (not really needed)

Ahmed was a brilliant guide , tells you so much about Egyptian culture and history. You meet your guide at the museum. Coach journey is quite long , local travellers do not care about your leg room and will recline the seats back. However, there is air conditioning and stops on way for food and toilets. If you arrive in sharm you must pay another (£5) pp for a stamp that allows you into Cairo . They do this when you get picked up from your hotel but be aware you’ll be without your passport for an hour or so. We had to keep asking if we were going to get them back but in the end we did before we left sharm.

Sempre a nostra disposizione e gratuita acqua fresca in bottiglia.

Great experience!

The couch journey is very long and we found it difficult to sleep on. Once we arrived at the museum we were put into a small group of 10 people all English speakers. Our guides name was Saber. He was very helpful and very good at explaining the history of Egypt and the artefacts in the museum. He was eager to show us everything in the museum (unlike some other groups around us with other companies who were told they had under an hour to look round). Our tour guide also provided us with free waters on the journey. After we paid €10 to go on the boat trip on the Nile. You can choose to not go on if that is what you wish. After we had a lovely lunch at a small Egyptian restaurant where they served us a lot of food. Mainly chicken sewers and koftas with bread and rice. We then went to the pyramids which were truly amazing. We were allowed to go and touch the pyramids and sit on the stones. There are a lot of locals at the pyramids that are trying to sell things to you. My partner was being pushed to buy something. He agreed and then the seller tripled the price. Luckily our tour guide Saber came to our rescue and told them we would not be paying. Saber said if anyone in the group wished to ride one of the horses or camels they should tell him first and he would negotiate a fair price with the locals there to safe us from getting overcharged. we went to the Sphinxs next. This was truly a wonder. Our tour guide said we would go to an Egyptian perfume shop. Some of our group did not wish to come in and so were told they could wait in the mini bus. Me and my partner went in and we brought an oil each. The sellers were not pushy they were a family buissness and had good hospitality. We run out of time to have free time to ourselves in Cairo as the other groups were ready early. We were back on the coach home for 5:30. Despite the long coach journey we had a wonderful time and would say it is worth the money and time. Our tour guide, Saber made it very special and we would recommend it.

Good way to see the best of Cairo with the best budget from Sharm

The tour was really efficient in covering the best of Cairo (Giza pyramids, the sphinx, Egyptian museum, Nile River sailing) with a budget bus trip from Sharm. Our private Egyptologist guide Mario was really helpful and knowledgable guide in making the best use of our time in Cairo. Strongly recommended.
