A Perfect Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor
Our 4 day, 3 night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor was truly unforgettable, and so much of that was because of our incredible guide, King Mina.
Our group was small, which made the experience feel much more intimate and personal. King Mina is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, kind, and genuinely loves what he does. Every tour was filled with fascinating Egyptology, but what really stood out was how he also shared information about other religions, history, and culture, giving us a much deeper understanding of Egypt as a whole.
He kept everything running smoothly, made sure we always knew the schedule, and had all of our entrance tickets organized and ready for us. The entrance fees were not included in the tour price, but paying King Mina the total of $107 USD for everything was simple and convenient. He was always happy to answer questions, had a wonderful sense of humor, and made every day enjoyable.
My favorite tour was Luxor Temple. The way King Mina brought the history to life made it one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. My husband’s favorite part was learning about the Egyptian gods, and King Mina explained everything in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way.
The Lady Mary cruise boat was beautiful, modern, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were always kind, welcoming, attentive, and eager to help with anything we needed, making us feel right at home throughout the cruise.
We also added the Nubian Village excursion, and it was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend including it if you have the opportunity.
If you’re lucky enough to have King Mina as your guide, you’re in for an amazing experience. This cruise exceeded all of our expectations, and we left with unforgettable memories and a much greater appreciation for Egypt, its history, and its people. Thank you, King Mina, and the entire Lady Mary crew, for making this journey so special!

Very nice experience!
I really enjoyed the trip! It was very well organized and Carlos, our guide, was excellent. He knew a lot about the history and knew how to transmit his knowledge, he was passionate about it and he was very clear and transparent from the beginning regarding tips, visits, etc. I highly recommend it!

King Minah
Cruise was delightful, tours were superb. King Minah our tour guide was the best and very knowledgeable and understanding to our needs and wants. I would highly recommend booking him next time round.

Family vacation
Overall the holiday was great. The cruise was sufficient the staff were very polite and efficient. The best part however was the tour guide who we spent the most time with, which was Mina. Mina was very polite and outgoing to which helped make our experience much more enjoyable. He did his utmost to help us whenever we needed it for instance when we tried to book my student tickets online he sat next to me and made sure i did it properly. He also catered to my younger brothers needs who has autism.

Nile cruise
The Nile cruise was amazing, the actual boat was not as good as we thought, food selection, pool was a little underwhelming.
Admission fees for children with hidden disabilities should be introduced. Some of the temples let our son go in free but others made it difficult and was asked to pay, our guide (king Mina) was absolutely outstanding, went out of his way more than once, fought for our son when we felt mistreated.
He explained temples in great detail, kept us intrigued and engaged on every single tour. Mina gave us the liberty that we needed and more. Without this particular guide ( King Mina) our visit would have been half as good.

Esperienza pessima
Molto brutta esperienza. La crociera molto bene, da 10. Ma il tour scelto è stata un'esperienza fatale. È vero che ti portano a vedere tutto il principale e l'indicato, ma come qualsiasi altro tour simile. Ora, la differenza con gli altri è la guida, di nome MINA. Le spiegazioni pessime e brevi, le visite ai templi molto brevi, nulla a che vedere con il tempo indicato che sarebbero, alcuni anche un'ora e mezza in meno rispetto a quanto stipulato al momento della prenotazione di questo tour come il tempio di EDFU, e dimenticati del viaggio in carrozza, ti costringono a salire su un autobus. Non c'è tempo per vedere nulla con tranquillità, oltre al fatto che la guida non ti spiega nulla, osservi altre guide con i gruppi che spiegano tutto in dettaglio, ma la nostra preferisce andare al bar ad aspettarti. Per di più, anche l'ultimo giorno la guida, indicando che fa caldo, ti dà le spiegazioni in furgone e non ti accompagna ai templi. Aggiungo inoltre che ti porta obbligato in negozi di artigianato che non sono nel tour, perdendo tempo di visita ai templi, senza possibilità di dire di no, anche se nessuno del gruppo voleva andare. Poi c'è il tema della mongolfiera, l'azienda lo pubblica sapendo che sono cancellate per tre mesi dal governo egiziano e ti costa un sacco di fatica farti restituire i soldi. Grazie a Viator ci siamo riusciti. Quindi è meglio scegliere un altro tour o almeno richiedere di non avere la guida che abbiamo avuto noi.

We had the best guide we could have asked for during our two days in Luxor. From the very beginning, he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Egypt’s history and culture.
He made every visit fascinating by explaining the historical details in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. His professionalism, patience, and attention to detail made our experience truly special. He was also very organized, making sure everything ran smoothly and comfortably.
What stood out the most was how much he genuinely cared about making our trip memorable. Thanks to him, our time in Luxor was unforgettable, and we learned so much while enjoying every moment.

La nostra guida Mina è stata eccellente: brava nella gestione del tempo, nel mantenere il gruppo connesso e nel rendere l'esperienza complessivamente piacevole. È una persona molto socievole, amichevole e gentile.
La tempistica sembrava affrettata. Aspettatevi chiamate di sveglia già dalle 4: 00 AM.
Pianificate di conseguenza: a partire da giugno 2026, le tariffe di ammissione sono di circa 4.900 EGP, più 10 USD/giorno per le mance dell'equipaggio, più una mancia separata per la vostra guida, se desiderato.
Alcuni fastidi: alcune fermate si sono trasformate in presentazioni di vendita in negozi locali. A bordo della nave, l'acqua costa 120 LE per una bottiglia da 1,5 L. Il servizio lavanderia è costoso e sarete avvicinati a bordo e infastiditi per acquistare massaggi e souvenir. Il cibo è accettabile, ma non è nulla di impressionante.
In generale è stata una grande esperienza, basta entrare con aspettative realistiche.
