5 Star experience - highly recommended
My son and I had an absolutely wonderful day exploring the Valley of the Kings! 🌞
Our driver, Ahmed Salah, was excellent — great communication before the trip, smooth booking, and he picked us up right on time. The car was super comfortable, and his driving made the journey really relaxing.
When we arrived, we were joined by Professor Ahmed Elsisi, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the area’s history, nature, and culture. He shared fascinating insights all day and was such a gentleman — always helping me on uneven ground and steps.
It truly was a memorable experience from start to finish. Both Ahmeds were friendly, professional, and made us feel very well cared for.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

Very good experience
This private day trip from Soma Bay to Luxor was good value for money. We were 2 persons and were taken well care of. Highly recommendable to book a private “VIP” trip with guide if you can spend the bit of extra money, compared to shared van. It reduced waiting times at the sites a lot, and the driver Abdul was super nice and efficient in getting us quickly into the nice car after the (very hot, 40 C) site visits. The tour was largely as described in the plan. Beware that there is no breakfast on this tour, just a break at a gas station after 2 hrs around 0700, where they have coffee and drinks, but no real food/bread, just chips and chocolate, so bring some bread. Driver Abdul and the brand new Hyundai did an excellent job. We met our guide Mohamed when entering Luxor after 3 1/2 hours drive. Mohamed was a kind and calm person, with a genuine passion about the history of Luxor. He was smart in jumping some queues through pre-booking etc., knowing the right order at the sites etc. and saving time, he seemed to know all people who had something to say at the sites. After Valley of the Kings and Hatseput, there was a 25 min stop at an Alabaster factory. It was not stated in the programme, but seems unavoidable, a bit of a tourist trap, but kind of fun and the chef was nice - and: they offered fresh bread and tea which really came in handy! Just take it with a smile, and buy a small handmade thing, I spent 50 USD for two nice alabaster pots after some tough negotiation. The lunch close to the Nile was excellent, and the Nile boat crossing was a blessing, calm and beautiful, one of the highlights of the day. Karnak was maybe the most impressive stop. Conclusion: very nice private trip, worth the money!

Amazing experience
A brilliant experience. We were well looked after by our driver Mr Mahmoud Salah who drove extremely well on the roads between Luxor and Hurghada. He saved a lot of time travelling which was great.
Professor Ahmed Elsisi was our tour guide. He was fantastic and brought the ancient history of the valley of kings and its temples to light. The stories of the ancient history were brilliant and explained the way of the Egyptians perfectly. It would be difficult to understand the temples and tombs without his expert knowledge.
If anybody is on the fence about booking, just do it. It’s an experience you will never forget.

A must do experience
This trip is an absolute must if you’ve travelled all the way from your home country to Hurghada. We were accompanied by Egyptologist Professor Ahmed Elsisi and our driver, Mr Mahmoud Salah, both gentlemen are a credit to their company. Mr Mahmoud Salah got us to and from our destinations in Luxor as well as driving us from Hurghada of which he did a fantastic job safely and in good time.
Now where do I start with Professor Ahmed Elsisi? What this man does not know about ancient Egypt is not worth knowing. His passion for history and the work he does shines through with his charismatic story telling and descriptions of ancient life in Egypt. The sites you will see are brought to life by his knowledge and understanding.
The sites themselves are breathtaking, the sheer scale, vibrancy and preservation of these ancient temples, tombs and monuments is something to behold, you have to see it with your own eyes to appreciate the level of engineering, design and time that went into building them.
I would 110% recommend this trip to anyone. Thanks again to Mr Mahmoud Salah & Professor Ahmed Elsisi, you were both the icing on the cake of the entire experience.

Luxor Day Trip
From start to finish, our private day trip from Hurghada to Luxor was outstanding. Professor Ahmed Elsisi, our Egyptologist guide, brought the temples, tombs, and Valley of the Kings to life with depth, clarity, and contagious enthusiasm. He didn’t just recite facts—he made ancient Egypt feel vivid and present, connecting history with stories and details you won’t find in guidebooks.
Our driver, Mr. Mahmoud Elsawy, ensured the long journey was smooth, safe, and comfortable. The car was clean and air-conditioned, and he navigated the desert road with calm professionalism.
This trip exceeded expectations in every way. If you’re in Hurghada and want to experience Luxor’s wonders in comfort and with true insight, I can’t recommend this team highly enough.
