We had a great trip from Hurghada to Luxor with our guide Sayed and driver Ahmed. We were travelling with our 4-year-old and 9-month-old baby, and were a bit worried about such a long day with lots of activities and the heat. But Sayed and Ahmed were amazing and made everything so much easier for us. They were both very friendly, patient and accommodating with the kids. They understood our needs as a family and were always happy to help whenever needed. We never felt rushed, and they made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. Thanks to them, we could really enjoy Luxor without worrying too much about how the kids would manage. We would definitely recommend Sayed and Ahmed, especially if you are travelling with young children. They really made our day special! Thank you both for a wonderful experience!

While on vacation in Hurghada, we booked this excursion to Luxor with a private guide and driver. Everything was perfect! The driver was great. Our guide, Noby, was excellent and very friendly.

Our Experience on the Luxor Tour from Hurghada We booked this tour as a couple for €130 per person from Hurghada. The pickup was on time, and we left as scheduled. The drive to Luxor took around 3 hours. Our driver was friendly, although his English was quite limited. Unfortunately, the driving itself was stressful at times. In areas with a 100 km/h speed limit, we were sometimes driving at around 170 km/h. Egyptian highways are also quite different from German Autobahns, so this speed felt especially uncomfortable. There were also some aggressive overtaking manoeuvres, including overtaking on the right. One of these situations almost resulted in a collision, which was definitely the most concerning part of the trip. The tour itself included several stops at the main attractions in Luxor. Our guide clearly had a lot of knowledge, but unfortunately, it was sometimes very difficult to understand her because of her strong accent. At several sites, guides are not allowed to enter the tombs together with tourists, which makes sense. She explained this to us beforehand, and we were given free time to visit the tombs while waiting. However, we noticed that some other guides were telling their groups stories and providing explanations while they were waiting in line, which seemed like a more effective way to use the time. At one point, we were given a choice of five tombs, of which we could visit three with our ticket. However, apart from the names, we didn't really receive enough information to understand which three would be the most interesting or suitable for us, even though we asked our guide for advice. The lunch was simple but filling. At the final attraction, she took our feedback about the organization and the way the information was presented into consideration, which we appreciated. Overall, the tour was interesting and allowed us to see the main highlights of Luxor, but the driving was a significant concern, and the communication with the guide could have been better.

Wir hatten mit Mena und Ibrahim wirklich einen tollen Tag in Luxor. Mena war super sympathisch und hat uns viel erklärt, ohne dass es sich wie ein trockener Geschichtsunterricht angefühlt hat. Er hat alles locker erzählt, ist auf unsere Fragen eingegangen und man konnte richtig merken, dass er Spaß an dem hat, was er macht. Ibrahim war ebenfalls total freundlich und ein sehr angenehmer Fahrer. Gerade bei so einer langen Tour macht das echt einen Unterschied. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit wohl und sicher gefühlt. Insgesamt war der Tag sehr entspannt, gut organisiert und definitiv eines unserer Highlights im Urlaub. Würden wir genauso wieder machen. Danke an Mena und Ibrahim!

Sayed gamal and Salah were an amazing team for our trip to Luxor! From the beginning, everything was organised and efficient. Salah picked us up on time and felt like traveling with a friend from the start. Sayed was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond during our time in Luxor. Lunch was also really great! They were very accommodating with all of our requests, including stopping for lunch, and were always cheerful and friendly. We felt very comfortable throughout the trip and had a great experience. If you need a van in Egypt, I’d definitely recommend them!
