The Valley of the Kings trip was an unforgettable journey through the heart of ancient Egypt, blending history, culture, and natural beauty into a perfectly balanced experience. The tour began at Karnak Temple, a truly awe-inspiring site. Walking through the vast complex of towering columns and intricately carved hieroglyphs felt like stepping back thousands of years. The scale and craftsmanship of the temple are overwhelming, and it set the tone for the rest of the day. Next, we explored the Valley of the Kings, where the desert landscape hides some of the most remarkable tombs ever discovered. Visiting the tomb of Tutankhamun was a highlight—seeing the resting place of the boy king added a powerful sense of connection to history. The artwork and preserved colors inside the tombs were astonishing, showcasing the skill and beliefs of ancient Egyptian civilization. The visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut was equally impressive. Built into the cliffs, the temple’s symmetry and design stand out as both elegant and commanding. Learning about Hatshepsut’s reign and legacy made the experience even more meaningful. Die Tour von Hurghada nach Luxor mit Shaban war sehr schön und gut organisiert. Shaban ist ein freundlicher, zuverlässiger Guide mit viel Wissen über die ägyptische Geschichte. Er hat alles ruhig und verständlich erklärt und sich gut um die Gruppe gekümmert. Wir haben viel gesehen und uns den ganzen Tag wohlgefühlt. Sehr empfehlenswert – vielen Dank, Shaban!

De tourguide: 5 sterren De tripduur: 4 sterren Het eten: 2 sterren All around - 4 sterren. Alles gezien met een enorm gezellige vlotte gids. Nana was een fijne gids met veel informatie, oog voor detail en de groep. De trip was prima, leuke afwisseling tussen alle hoogtepunten en slim gebruik gemaakt van wc-punten etc zodat het altijd schoon was. Het eten daarentegen viel heel erg tegen, dat was erg jammer. Lange dag, dus be prepared maar wel erg leuk om te doen wanneer in Hurghada en interesse in Egyptische historie!
