A special day
Visiting the Pyramids was something we have always wanted to do, and it did not disappoint. They are something else. If you get the chance, go! You won't regret it. We flew as the bus trip takes way too long. This trip by flight started at 0430 for us, and we got back at 2330, so still a very long day. I would not advise taking younger children, even when flying. Our guide 'Jimmy' ( Jamal) was a fountain of knowledge and was so much fun as well. He gave good advice as well. For example you can pay to go into one of the larger pyramids but he advised trying the gallery in the queens pyramid first as it is free and shorter. He was right, most of the people on the tour found they could not have completed the bigger gallery and would have wasted their money. When you are at the pyramids or the sphinx don' let any of the locals take your phone to take your picture as they want money to give you your phone back. We took the horse and buggy ride to the viewpoint recommended to take he best pictures, but you can take a camel if you want. This is extra but you can get good pictures. After lunch in a nice Giza hotel we had 3 hours plus in the new museum. I think I could have spent three weeks there. It is amazing, and again our guide knew everything about it. The mask of Tutankhamen ids a must but there is so much more to see. After the museum we had the chance to take a boat trip on the Nile in Cairo, for an extra charge. This was a really nice way to finish the day. Just to mention you do go right through the middle of Cairo on this trip, and that in itself is an eye opener. You might think you have seen crazy driving ( Italy, Türkiye, etc) but believe me they are nothing on Cairo. When you are being held up on a 16 lane motorway by two old ladies walking up the road in front of you while motorbikes come down the road in the wrong direction you realise this place is special. This is not a cheap excursion, the day is long but I really can recommend it.

Fantastic Day in Cairo
Absolutely fantastic Cairo excursion from Hurghada! ✨ The early-morning flight was well worth it to visit the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum. We finished the day with a beautiful sunset river ride along the Nile. A special mention to our tour guide, Mr Falcon, who was brilliant, extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience even more enjoyable by bringing Egypt’s incredible history to life. An unforgettable experience that we would highly recommend! 🇪🇬

Cairo piramides
Wij hebben geboekt via dutch hurghada tours. Wij hebben maandag een appje gestuurd over dat wij een excursie wouden dinsdag langsgekomen om alles te regelen. Dag erna naar cairo met een gids die nederlands sprak. Hij legt alles goed uit geeft je je ruimte neemt zijn tijd en weet echt waar die over praat zeker een aanrader!

Сегодня мы совершили невероятную однодневную поездку из Хургады в Каир: пирамиды Гизы, Сфинкс, вкусный ланч, Египетский музей, закатная прогулка на лодке по Нилу — и вечером обратно в Хургаду на самолёте. Честно говоря, в начале у меня было довольно много недоверия и скепсиса — особенно учитывая мой предыдущий опыт путешествий по Египту. Я путешествовала с дочкой, и для меня было особенно важно, чтобы всё было организовано безопасно и комфортно. Но в итоге мы остались очень довольны! Да, гигиена в некоторых местах могла бы быть лучше, но приветливость персонала, вкусная еда, отличная организация и, конечно же, невероятная история Древнего Египта сделали этот день по-настоящему особенным. Пирамиды и Сфинкс вживую — это совершенно другое впечатление. А закат над Нилом стал прекрасным завершением этого насыщенного дня. Не думаю, что вернусь в Египет ещё раз, но этот день мы с дочкой запомним навсегда. ❤️🇪🇬 Спасибо мистер Фалкен!

AHOHO CON LA RESEÑA, PERO TOUR BIEN
Me esta obligando a poner cinco estrellas, esta a mi lado el guia y no me deja en paz si no pongo cinco estrellas en todo, el tour no esta mal, cogi el guia en ingles porque entiendo algo pero no todo, pero el a su bola, se enfado porque no entendia todo, a mi pareja le dijo que si estava por el o por mi cuando solo me estaba traduciendo, en general le pongo tres estrellas, no se si repetiria, y que ahora me ahoge con la reseña no lo encuentro demasiado bien, eso si nos ha echo fotos, el restaurante bueno, no se podia comer de la gente que habia. Es mi experiencia.
