Coach tour was extremely long and hot, alot of security stops on the way. You had to pay to use the toilets on way which weren't great but ok. Admission was reasonable and well worth the visit. Grand Museum was beautiful lots to see and learn. Pyramids were stunning extremely hot only down fall was the hawkers hassling you. Pretty busy aswell. The city of cairo itself was dirty and generally run down.

Tivemos uma ótima experiência com a nossa guia Manal! É super simpática, atenciosa, divertida e fala um português excelente. É uma verdadeira enciclopédia andante, sabe imenso sobre a história e explicou tudo de forma clara e envolvente Mostrou-se sempre com total disponibilidade e boa vontade para nos tirar fotos ao longo do passeio. Além disso, ajudou-nos na compra dos bilhetes para as Pirâmides e esteve sempre contactável (bastava mandar mensagem e respondia logo). O almoço foi muito bom e com bastante variedade, e o motorista foi também impecável e muito simpático. Recomendo a 100% fazerem tour com a Manal, fez toda a diferença na nossa viagem!

Not impressed with Viator who couldn't give me the information I needed to pay for part of the tour online before leaving home. However our guide, Mimo, sorted it all for us, his communication was outstanding, he was on time for pick up, and his knowledge was impressive, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour with him, and the driver, Amr, was fantastic, and he is a very skilled and safe driver. This was a "bucket list" experience that was brought to life by the Mimo and Amr, we highly recommend them for your tour.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable first day in Egypt with Mimo and Amr My first full day in Egypt was spent exploring the Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara with my guide, Mimo, and our driver, Amr. Looking back over my whole holiday, it remains one of the standout days of the trip and was an incredible introduction to Egypt. Mimo’s passion for ancient Egypt is obvious from the moment he starts talking. He is incredibly knowledgeable and expressive, and has a real ability to bring what you’re looking at to life rather than simply giving you a list of names, dates and dynasties. Nothing quite prepares you for seeing the pyramids for the first time. I had decided before travelling that I wanted to go inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu, even though I knew it could be physically demanding. Mimo explained what was involved and suggested an easier alternative, but when I told him I was determined to do it, he completely respected my decision. It was hot, cramped, exhausting and absolutely extraordinary. That experience also had a very personal significance for me. My mum had died only three months before my trip and she had encouraged me to come to Egypt. I carried a tiny amount of her ashes with me into the Great Pyramid, so being inside will always mean considerably more to me than simply being able to say that I climbed into a pyramid. We also had a camel ride on the Giza Plateau, which is surely one of those things you have to do at least once in your life! Riding through the desert with the pyramids behind me produced some fantastic photographs and some very funny memories. I’m very glad I did it — although my camel was considerably more fragrant than the photographs suggest! Mimo also took me to several shops and workshops during the day where I could see and learn about traditional Egyptian products. I particularly enjoyed seeing how papyrus is made and visiting the fragrance-oil shop, where I was able to smell and try the different oils. I came away with a beautiful papyrus calendar and an Egyptian fragrance oil and bottle, both of which are now lovely reminders of my first day in Egypt. I never felt that Mimo was pressuring me personally to buy something; he introduced me to the places, helped me understand what I was looking at, and I chose the things I wanted to take home. Later we continued to Saqqara, with Mimo explaining the history and significance of what we were seeing throughout the day. By this point the Egyptian heat had almost defeated me, but his enthusiasm certainly hadn’t disappeared! Amr also deserves a special mention. Having him as our private driver made an enormous difference to the day. Everything ran smoothly and, after walking around archaeological sites in the Egyptian sun, seeing Amr and that wonderfully air-conditioned car waiting for us was always a very welcome sight. By the time I returned to my hotel I was absolutely exhausted, but incredibly happy. In one day I had stood beside the pyramids, gone inside the Great Pyramid, ridden a camel through Giza, visited the Sphinx, discovered some traditional Egyptian crafts and products and explored Saqqara. Egypt can be overwhelming when you first arrive — the heat, traffic, noise and sheer amount of history are unlike anything else. Having Mimo beside me to explain it and Amr taking care of us between locations meant that on my first full day I could stop worrying about the practicalities and simply experience Egypt. Thank you Mimo and Amr for an extraordinary day and an unforgettable introduction to Egypt. I will remember it for the rest of my life.

La guida è stata eccellente e informativa, il prelievo al mio hotel è stato impeccabile e la guida era davanti alla porta del mio hotel, cosa che non posso sottolineare abbastanza quanto sia importante per i turisti in un paese straniero che non conoscono i dintorni, quindi lodo molto la premura della guida
