PYRAMIDS TOUR

We could never have navigated this experience so smoothly on our own as with Marco and driver Muhammad Ali. It was hassle free and we got some spectacular photos!

Great few days with guide Marco!
We traveled to Egypt as a family of 4 adults + 4 children across three generations, ranging from 3 to 70+. I was pleased with the decision to hire Deluxe tours. At airport arrival, we used their “meet and greet” service, which was a helpful time saver after our international flight. The person greeting us (Ayman, although I’m not sure of spelling) also helped me navigate buying a SIM card and getting local currency. We had two drivers during the week. Abdul was the main driver. Despite all the chaos of Cairo roadways, we felt safe and comfortable in the maintained, Air conditioned van. All the seatbelts worked, rubbish bin provided. But the best part of the program was Marco Naguib, our Egyptologist guide. Marco was incredibly patient and wildly nimble. He adapted the itinerary to help us have an even better experience than had been planned. I wish I had been in contact with Marco specifically before we planned our trip! With his help, our days in Giza and in downtown Cairo were superb. I don’t want to give away his secrets but we managed to see several places that I’m sure other tours don’t go. There were thousands of people at the pyramids, but only one other family at the quiet, beautiful tomb we went to within eyesight of the pyramids. We never could have found that spot or had such a moving experience without his suggestions. He also knows everyone - everyone! His English is perfect. He could relate to all the generations and also knew when to give us some space to ourselves. He is a great reader of his audience. He doesn't smoke (I didn’t realize how much I appreciated this until the next guide turned out to be a smoker). We extended our tour time and didn’t regret the additional hours with his guidance in Coptic Cairo. Marco hustles to figure out what is interesting and important to clients and he will find something for everyone. I will add we have now had other Egyptian guides (outside Cairo/Giza) and nobody has compared to Marco. At the end of our time, my nine year old son said, “wow, Marco really loves Egypt and teaching people about it. I can tell he wants us to feel good about our trip and love Egypt too.” You definitely need a guide for this part of the world and I’d fully recommend hiring Marco from Deluxe to other families.

Informative, enjoyable, and efficient!
We booked a basic package with this tour company having seen many positive reviews. They did a fantastic job in reaching out to us and helping us to tailor our tour to make it most appropriate for our interests and budget, as well as providing a tour for another part of our trip which was to Aswan. In Cairo Ibrahim picked us up (being very flexible about us running late!) and then moved the schedule of our day to minimise sun exposure and crowds, taking us to the Pyramids, Sphinx, GEM, an iconic lunch spot, and the Museum of Antiquities. At no point did he push any add ons on us - offering them to us but accepting we were not interested. Ibrahim also helped us to avoid falling into tourist traps, such as paying $30 each to go inside the Great Pyramid, instead suggesting a free alternative where only a $2 tip was advised. He kept his information direct and high level to avoid overloading us, and also took lots of fantastic photos. Both himself and the driver (Mohammad) helped to make our experience enjoyable and informative, enabling us to spend only two full days in Cairo but having felt we covered everything (we spent one day touring the city sights independently). The tour in Aswan was also good, with the guide providing an extreme level of information, however the tour in Cairo was the standout for us! Thanks again to the team for your transparency, helpfulness, and willingness to adapt to suit our priorities, we will certainly be passing your information on to family and friends!

Da non perdere per una giornata alle Piramidi e al Museo
Servizio impeccabile, ci siamo organizzati facilmente per il pick up con il Tour Operator e Nabil, la nostra guida, parla perfettamente italiano. Siamo stati sulla spianata di Giza e poi al Nuovo Museo Egizio di Giza che non potete assolutamente perdere. Nabil ci ha ha dato tantissime informazioni sui reperti del museo. Il Tour comprendeva anche auto privata con autista, lo consiglio vivamente per un Tour indimenticabile!

Best Honeymoon Ever
George helped organize our tour. Muhammad was our driver and Marco was our tour guide. If I could give them more stars I absolutely would. This was the best experience I’ve ever had on any tour. They were extremely accommodating our schedule and took extremely good care of us. Everything was an amazing price and food was delicious. I am already planning a trip back to see more and want them to show me around. You definitely will not regret it. Nothing like getting a guide who is extremely knowledgeable on the topics and knows hidden spots for best views, pics, prices. Amazing.

Magnifique journée de visite
Hussen était top ! Il parle très bien français et a beaucoup de connaissances. Il a répondu à toutes nos questions et ne nous a pas forcés à aller visiter le magasin de parfum et papyrus comme on peut lire dans certaines visites. Nous avons également très bien mangé et il a organisé pour un supplément un petit tour à dos de dromadaire.

Niveen è il migliore! È molto esperta di storia ed è divertente, intelligente e lo rende un'esperienza VIP
Niveen ci è venuto a prendere al nostro hotel e ci ha portato al museo egizio. Le ho fatto conoscere i miei interessi e lei si è concentrata su ciò che stavo cercando, assicurandomi che non mi perdessi nessun must see. Abbiamo poi visitato alcune chiese incredibili, poi attraversato il ponte sul Nilo fino alle piramidi. Dalle foto divertenti a un grande giro in cammello a un pranzo incredibile con una splendida vista è stata una giornata indimenticabile con una bella donna interessante. Ci siamo sentiti molto fortunati ad essere in tour con Niveen

Best of Egypt
Marco, George and Muhammad were AMAZING. They took us to the best spots in town and showed us the best parts of Egypt. They were all so nice and very patient with us, explained everything perfectly and made sure we were well accommodated. I can’t wait to come back to Egypt and I will definitely go to these guys again.
