Overpriced for what it is.
The tour was just okay. We saw some cool things but we paid quite a lot of money for a tour that didn’t really show us much about current or ancient Egypt.
All our other tours have included water and have had the tour guides go out of their way to make sure we have been comfortable. It was disappointing to spend as much money as we did to not have any water for a 10 hour tour.
Lunch was yummy, but it was just fish and rice (and some dips) but no drinks included not even juice. Again disappointing considering how expensive the tour was.
The guide was a lovely person, she didn’t go out of her way to make us comfortable like the other guides do, and she put us in a few situations where we felt entitled to tip people without warning so we didn’t really appreciate that.
Not a bad tour, just not worth the money we spent.

Wonderful, highly recommended
I had an amazing time in this trip. My guide Shaimaa is a wonderful person. She gave me a very swift yet elaborate tour to all the historically important places of Alexandria with very concise and informative descriptions. She arranged everything in a very organized way, and thus I never had to rush to any spot and got enough time to explore all the places in a relaxed way. I highly recommend this tour with Shaimaa to everyone and it can be completed very easily as a day trip from Cairo.

Wonderful day in Alexandria
Shaimaa was an amazing guide. Well knowledgeable, kind, respectful and attentive to my questions. Driver was respectful and punctual. Bought us water, stopped for us to take a break. Alexandria is full of history and a very beautiful city. The food at Branzino was delicious. Loved everything

Meravigliosa gita di un giorno ad Alessandria con una guida eccellente!
Abbiamo avuto una fantastica gita di un giorno dal Cairo ad Alessandria, e tutto era perfettamente organizzato dall'inizio alla fine. Il nostro autista ci è venuto a prendere giusto in tempo al Cairo, ha fornito un giro liscio e confortevole per Alessandria, e in seguito ci ha restituito in sicurezza al Cairo in serata.
Ad Alessandria, siamo stati accolti dalla nostra guida Shaimaa, che era cordiale, professionale e incredibilmente esperta. Ci ha portato a tutti i siti principali: la Biblioteca di Alessandria, il Castello di Qaitbay, le Catacombe, l'Anfiteatro Romano, la Moschea di Abu al - Abbas al - Mursi, e strada. Mark’s Church. Le sue intuizioni ad ogni fermata hanno aggiunto così tanto valore, e lei ci ha aiutato a sfruttare al meglio il nostro tempo.
Un momento clou è stata una sosta in un bazar locale consigliato da Shaimaa, gestito da una bella coppia egiziana. Aveva una vasta selezione di mercanzie a prezzi eccellenti e si sentiva molto più autentico dei tipici negozi turistici.
Il pranzo è stato fantastico. Abbiamo apprezzato una varietà di deliziose immersioni con pane fresco, seguito dalla nostra scelta di pollo o pesce, e il succo di mango e fragola fresco era assolutamente rinfrescante.
Come bonus aggiuntivo, Shaimaa ha scattato molte fantastiche foto di gruppo per noi durante il giorno e le ha gentilmente condivise in seguito tramite WhatsApp, che è stato un tocco così premuroso e ci ha regalato ricordi duraturi della giornata.
Dall'inizio alla fine, questo tour è stato efficiente, arricchente e completamente divertente. Lo consigliamo vivamente, e se si ottiene Shaimaa come guida, si è in per un'esperienza davvero speciale!

Viaggio confortevole ben pianificato e ben eseguito
Ottimo viaggio dall'inizio alla fine. Pianificato bene un pozzo eseguito. L'autista era in orario ed è stato grande durante il viaggio. Era divertente e ha cercato di comunicare con noi, a volte utilizzando un'app di traduzione. Molto bello l'atteggiamento. La guida turistica Shaima ci ha incontrato ad Alessandria. Era molto esperta, ha spiegato tutto bene, parlava un buon inglese, ha scattato un sacco di foto lungo la strada e, soprattutto, non ci ha mai messo fretta.
Inizialmente eravamo scettici sul fatto che il conducente non fosse fluente in inglese, ma questo non era affatto un problema. Ha usato l'applicazione traduttore per comunicare e ha fatto ogni sforzo per farci sentire a nostro agio.
Il pranzo a base di pesce era delizioso.
Niente a che fare con il tour: siate consapevoli che i servizi igienici in diversi luoghi di Alessandria non sono molto puliti, quindi pianificare di conseguenza. Abbiamo trovato bagni puliti in biblioteca, ma non in altri posti,

Well planned and well executed comfortable trip
Great trip from start to finish. Planned well an executed well. Driver was on time and was great throughout the trip. He was funny and tried to communicate with us, at times using a translator app. Very nice attitude. The tour guide Shaima met us in Alexandria. She was very knowledgeable, explained everything well, spoke good English, took lots of pictures along the way, and most importantly, never rushed us.
We were initially skeptical about the driver not being fluent in English, but that was not an issue at all. He used the translator app to communicate and made every effort to make us feel comfortable.
Fish lunch was delicious.
Nothing to do with the tour: be aware that the toilets in several places in Alexandria are not very clean, hence plan accordingly. We found clean toilets in the library, but not in other places,

Exploring Alexandria
Hello, my name is John McDonald and I recently did a tour of Alexandria with my guide Shaimaa. I decided to visit Alexandria via a day trip from Cairo. Shaimaa gave me a one on one tour with her showing me multiple spots around Alexandria! Alexandria is a must see if you want to visit Egypt. Shaimaa was patient and gave me ample free time to explore this beautiful part of Egypt. The catacombs were interesting because I got to see how Egyptian people, other than Pharoahs were buried. Then we visited some Roman relics. Alexandria has some amazing history and Shaimaa definitely knows her history! Alexandria library was my favorite because it is located right next to the ocean. Shaimaa would offer to take pictures of me and sent me the photos after the tour. The view of the sea in Alexandria is stunning. Shaimaa and I also visited St. Mark’s church and a mosque. During the tour, Shaimaa took me to a Bazaar (Market) where I got to try and purchase some essential oils. Shaimaa was very knowledgeable and I believe you will be in good hands choosing her as your tour guide!

Good experience
Very good experience with Alaa; she knows the history of Alexandria. She is very nice and takes the time to explain. Very good experience; we recommend it if you want to spend a day in Alexandria and understand the history of this incredible city.

とても有意義な時間でした。プライベートツアーと言うこともあり、子連れの私たちにはぴったりでした。ガイドのShaimaaさんは、英語の苦手な私たちにゆっくりと翻訳を使いながら対応してくれました。ドライバーさんのMinaさんもエジプトに来てから1番の安全運転の方でした。安心して乗れました。
