Viaggio di famiglia aprile 2026
Noi come famiglia ( 2 adulti, bambino di 10 anni) abbiamo prenotato una crociera di 4 giorni da Asuan a Luxor nel mese di aprile 2026 . Il viaggio aveva incluso ciò che è stato prenotato, tuttavia la comunicazione e il dettaglio mancava. - Pickup in hotel impostato alle 09: 00 confermato il giorno precedente, l'autista si è presentato solo alle 10 : 00 , era impegnativo per mettersi in contatto o anche il numero del conducente. - Trasferimento dall'Hotel alla barca ha preso un 5 minuti di auto. Dove abbiamo aspettato di nuovo 2 h nella hall per il check-in (se il nome della barca che avrebbe dovuto condividere abbiamo potuto procedere da soli senza tempi di attesa) - il cibo sulla barca era fresco, gustoso e grande varietà 5 - Stella, il personale del boatrestaurant era super cordiale (lì tuttavia dove nessuna donna che lavora) - Primo giorno non è stato cruzing (barca è rimasta ad Asuan) Dovevamo alzarci tutti i giorni alle 04: 30 come pickup era 05 : 00 (con il nostro bambino) , Viaggio ad Abu Sembei ha preso 2 x un viaggio in autobus di 3 ore. Tempio era impressionante, ma per la visita al tempio di 1 h il bustrive di 6 ore era troppo lungo. - Camera sulla barca andava bene 4 - Stella, bagno un po 'antiquato ma ok (sarebbe apprezzato se potessimo scegliere la barca alla prenotazione anche con prezzi diversi) . Tutte le barche erano collegate e abbiamo potuto vedere le differenze (abbiamo avuto Royal Viking) - cena (cibo) 5 - Stella come fresco, personale cordiale e grande varietà. - programma serale ore 21 : 00 (danza del ventre, danza sociale ecc) non abbiamo mai partecipato come il pick up anticipato ogni giorno - Il giro in mongolfiera il 3° giorno è stato impressionante e accettabile per il punto di prelievo alle 05: 00 (comunque il checkout delle camere deve essere fatto prima! ) - guida turistica locale era cordiale disponibile e aveva grande conoscenza (Khaled) , l'ordinazione tuttavia era alla "maniera egiziana". - Nonostante le barche siano "piccole" a un 100 passeggeri per nave / lì dove multiplo di centinaia di tali barche sulla stessa strada dove è stato un po 'un "rush". - Nel complesso il viaggio è stato grande, interessante avremmo apprezzato l'iniziativa dettagliata e maggiori informazioni sulla barca ecc. Il calendario serrato permette di vedere molto e raccogliere grande impressione, tuttavia la tempistica non mi sembrava vacanza in quanto mi mancava la colazione rilassante in barca (abbiamo avuto pranzo al sacco ogni giorno invece)

Amazing Family Experience in Egypt
We visited Egypt as a family with our two kids and had a wonderful experience with our guide, Khaled. He is very knowledgeable, engaging, making every temple visit interesting and enjoyable.

Outstanding 4-night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor – exceptional guide Khalid made the difference
We took a 4-night cruise along the Nile between Aswan and Luxor in April 2026 and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The cabin was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of storage, a fridge, and a good bathroom with bath/shower facilities. The itinerary is very full with early starts, but everything runs smoothly and feels well organised, so it never becomes a burden if you’re prepared for it. The highlight of the trip was our guide, Khalid. He was extremely well organised and made everything effortless for us – handling timings, transport, and even practical details like currency exchange and tipping. He also helped us with bargaining in local shops, which made a big difference to the overall experience. His knowledge of ancient Egyptian history was excellent, and he pitched his explanations in a way that felt relevant and engaging for all ages and backgrounds. He is also kind, patient, and communicates clearly in excellent English. When we had issues with student discounts, he resolved everything quickly and smoothly, which we really appreciated. He also adapted the experience well to different energy levels and interests within the group. A standout moment was visiting Luxor Temple at night, which Khalid timed perfectly to avoid the worst crowds and show it at its most atmospheric. The Nubian village visit was also very interesting. Food on board was excellent with plenty of variety in buffet style. The desserts in particular were outstanding. Staff throughout the ship were friendly, patient, and professional, and the whole boat was kept exceptionally clean. The sun deck was a great place to relax, and while there was a small gym area, it felt limited. There was also additional onboard entertainment available, though we didn’t make use of it. Overall, this was excellent value for money and a highly enjoyable experience. I would strongly recommend it to couples, families, and solo travellers alike, especially those interested in history and seeing the highlights of ancient Egypt with a knowledgeable guide.

Temples on a budget
First and foremost: Our tour guide Mina was excellent, very competent and always caring for our group of 12 people. We did a 4 day/3 nights trip from Aswan to Luxor. We were on the MS King of Thebes, a rather old boat. Food was average and there's not much to do on board. Trips to Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, Efnu and Luxor were amazing, but keep in mind that they always start very early in the morning (around 4am). Summary: I would recommend it if you wanna see the the Temples on a budget. If you wanna enjoy the cruise itsself, I would recommend one of the more expensive packages.

Boat trip was okay, but Mina made it worth it – highly recommend him as a guide!
We did a four-day boat trip on the MS King of Thebes. Overall, the trip was okay. The boat is in average condition, the cabins are a bit dated, and the food wasn’t really to our taste, so we would recommend it with some reservations. What truly made the experience special was our guide Mina. He was incredibly friendly, well-organized, and made everyone feel comfortable. His knowledge of Egypt’s history was impressive and added a lot to the trip. We would absolutely recommend doing a tour with Mina – he made all the difference for us.

Abbiamo avuto un tempo molto bello sulla gita in barca. questo era dovuto principalmente a Mina la nostra grande guida turistica che mette davvero molto cuore in quello che fa. anche lui era molto informato sulla storia egiziana come lo ha studiato a fondo

Cruise op de Nijl
Mooie tempels gezien . Aboe Simbel was wel ver ( 4 uren heen en 4 uren terug ). Beter om dit appart te boeken buiten de cruise om en slechts 3 dagen met de cruise te gaan. Vriendelijk personeel en goed eten. De boten brengen wel heel vervelende stinkende uitlaatgassen ( ze hebben geen schoorsteen). Hoofdpijn tot gevolg. De gids neemt je elke dan mee naar een activiteit waar hij een heel dikke commissie op heeft ( kruiden ,souveniershop, veel te duur restaurant voor wat het is, parfumzaak ). Er werd teveel tijd verloren door deze zaken. Het niveau van gidsen is behoorlijk maar ik heb al betere gidsen gehad. We werken bijna gedwongen om een goede review te schrijven ( hij werd bijna kwaad omdat ik het in mijn taal geschreven heb)
