Esperienza divertente in tutto. Le guide erano ben informate e fornivano molti fatti e storie interessanti per colorare gli incredibili siti storici che abbiamo visitato. Il coordinamento del viaggio è stato meraviglioso. Non tutto è andato liscio, ma i rappresentanti dell'azienda hanno compiuto sforzi ragionevoli per risolvere tutti i problemi riscontrati. Faremo tesoro dei ricordi che abbiamo creato in questa avventura.

We were 3 sisters visiting Egypt for the first time and what a fabulous experience it has been, thanks to Egypt Day Tours! Pros: 1. Excellent response time to all queries and requests. 2. Comprehensive understanding of international cultures and their requirements. 3. Polite, well-spoken, entertaining, enthusiastic and helpful team of guides, chaperones and drivers. 4. Point to point accompanying from airport pick-up to drop (seriously, we were made to feel like absolute QUEENS!) 5. Flexible options to suit individual interests and requirements. 6. Excellent knowledge of the country, sites, history and civilisation. 7. Entertaining guides who spin quite a yarn and explain the significance of the monuments visited. 8. Clean and luxurious car for transport within the country (ask for Nabil to drive you around Cairo, he is a very safe driver and is very capable at manoeuvring around tricky roads. 9. Very reasonable pricing for everything. 10. A company that takes a personal interest in ensuring you've an experience of a lifetime! From the moment my friends and I reached to Cairo we experienced a 5 star treatment from Egypt Day Tours! Disclaimer - my apologies if I misspell any names - Osama, greeted us at the airport with a great smile and made us feel at home right away!! He had our visas ready (they cost $25 US) and accompanied us as we went through immigration. We were then handed off to Mustafa! What a nice guy he is!! He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable! I have no words to describe the immediate connection we felt with him! It was like if we already knew him from years ago! He took us to the hotel, Le Meridien (right across from the Pyramids of Giza - great location/ very nice hotel), he checked us in while we sat in the lobby taking it all in and in disbelief that we finally after all the planning had made it to Egypt! We then discussed to do an optional tour to the Khan Al Khalili market the next day (we purposely booked our tour to start a day later in case we had flight delays or were simply too tired from the long trip) and Mustafa arranged and went with us the next day! The market is a must do experience! Just remember that you must negotiate the price for EVERYTHING! NEVER pay the first price you get! Negotiate with the vendor until you feel what you paying is a fair price. I don’t think there is a way to ever know if what you paid is the right price so I go with what I feel comfortable paying for the item. If you don’t think is worth, just politely say Shukraan and go to the next vendor! You will have lots of fun and find great souvenirs at the market, specially if you go with our friend Mustafa!! That evening we went to the Giza light show at the pyramids with Mustafa - Nice show - and got to visit a local Jewlery shop to buy our Cartouches. The next day was the first day of our tour - we were greeted by Mahmood. (It took us a little while to connect with him because although we were all on time, he didn’t have a sign with our names and that created a little confusion for us) He took us to the Pyramids of Giza and the Cairo Museum. If you are the type of people who enjoys history being narrated to you as if you were part of Broadway play, hearing the characters come alive as you see the pieces of art and relics in front of you, then Mahmood is definitely the guide for you! He also gave us the red carpet treatment! The driver of our minivan that day was great too! He kept cleaning our van so it was impeccably clean every time we came back to it! There are no words for the joy we felt as we not only got to see the pyramids but to go inside of them and climb up to the top. (Not recomendable for claustrophobic people). Our next few days were spent on the Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, Egypt Day Tours set up our flights, Osama took us to the airport in Cairo and our new guide Mohammed (our lovely Super Mo as he prefers to be called, LOL! ) took care of us from there! We visited many temples, from Luxor to Abu Simbel, the valley of Kings, etc... the river cruise was nice! Nothing like the big ocean cruise ships but nice, clean and comfortable enough! The food was good and the staff was very friendly! Super Mo was so knowledgeable and definitely our style of guide! He shared lots of information, allowed us to ask questions and gave us time to take pictures anywhere where was allowed (after all, our memories from those pictures is what we get to keep after the trip, right?). Those 5 days with Super Mo were amazing! I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to see with my own eyes things from almos 7000 years ago from the beginning of what we know from civilization! What an honor!! Our journey ended in Aswan and we had to sadly say goodbye to another friend, our wonderful Super Mo! We flew back to Cairo, to then the next day drive to Alexandria, there we spend the day with Jean, another fine Young man who was a delight to spend time with! Our only regret is not to have spend more than just a day in Alexandria! From the moment, my friend (she was the spokesperson for her husband and me) started planning our trip, the communication with Ahmed Attarious - always responding to all of her questions; and there were many that we all had! - was excellent! He even took a few minutes at our request to meet with us in Alexandria! I will be forever thankful and grateful to Egypt Day Tours for organizing and providing such an amazing experience for us! We felt completely safe at all times and they genuinely wanted us to have a great experience!! I recommend Egypt Day Tours 100%. Mustafa and Super Mo, it was a pleasure to have met you! I wish you a lifetime of happiness!!!

Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza meravigliosa con Egypt Day Tours. Ahmed Attarious è stato così veloce nel rispondere a tutte le mie domande e nel soddisfare tutto ciò che ho richiesto durante l'impostazione e la modifica dell'itinerario. Osama ci ha incontrato all'aeroporto con i nostri visti e le nostre sim card. Ci portò rapidamente all'aeroporto, ci portò al banco del cambio e ci portò all'hotel Le Meridian Pyramids. Inizialmente siamo stati sistemati in una sala fumatori. Se hai bisogno di una camera per non fumatori come me, assicurati di chiedere una camera per non fumatori nell'edificio per non fumatori. Mustafa ci ha incontrato in hotel e ci ha aiutato molto durante il nostro soggiorno al Cairo. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la sua compagnia! Ero euforico di avere egittologi che ci guidassero attraverso l'antico Egitto. Super Mo è stata la nostra guida durante la crociera sul Nilo e Jean per Alessandria. Abbiamo apprezzato la loro eccezionale conoscenza dell'antico Egitto e la pazienza con tutte le nostre domande. Non solo erano un patrimonio di conoscenze, ma aggiungevano molto divertimento alla visita della città. Tutti i conducenti sono stati gentili ed educati e hanno mantenuto i loro veicoli puliti. La nostra barca fluviale, M / S Royal Princess, era carina. Egypt Day Tours ha reso la visita dei siti e viaggiare all'interno dell'Egitto così facile, sicuro e divertente! Ho intenzione di dare a questo un 5 stelle, anche se c'erano alcune cose che erano un po 'fuori. Ahmed è fantastico! Sempre molto attento e disponibile in ogni momento prima del mio viaggio e durante il viaggio. La nostra guida sulla crociera di 4 giorni sul Nilo con tutte le soste era Jorge ed era molto istruttivo e professionale e io e mio figlio abbiamo davvero cresciuto per fidarci di lui. Il nostro primo giorno al Cairo abbiamo fatto un tour con Mina Wasfy che si è assicurata di fare delle fantastiche foto di mio figlio e io insieme alle piramidi. Ora alcune delle cose che erano un po '"fuori", quando siamo stati prelevati all'aeroporto, il signore che ci ha prelevato ci ha fornito i visti e io l'ho rimborsato. Ho scoperto più tardi, quando ho chiesto a un altro viaggiatore americano quanto fosse la loro Visa, mi sono reso conto che mi hanno fatto pagare $ 20 in più. Quando ho interrogato Ahmed, mi ha detto che c'è un costo di servizio di $ 10 a persona per farlo fare a me. Non sono stato informato di questo in anticipo e penso che avrei dovuto essere così che avrei potuto prendere la decisione se volevo o meno ottenerli da solo. Ahmed si è assicurato che i $ 20 mi fossero stati rimborsati, cosa che ho molto apprezzato. Il secondo problema che abbiamo avuto è stato al nostro ritorno al Cairo da Luxor. Quando siamo tornati all'aeroporto non c'era nessuno lì per incontrarci. Ho chiamato Ahmed e ha detto che il nostro autista stava arrivando, ma per circa 25 minuti abbiamo aspettato all'aeroporto per lui e ci siamo sentiti piuttosto nervosi. Siamo stati finalmente presi da un giovane sulla metà degli anni '20 e dall'autista (mi scuso perché non ricordo il suo nome). Ci ha accompagnato in hotel e una volta arrivati abbiamo chiesto se volevo fumare marijuana con lui. Dire che sono rimasto scioccato è stato un eufemismo dato che sono una donna di 51 anni che viaggia con mio figlio di 17 anni, non una ragazza di 25 anni che viaggia con un gruppo di amici. Ho pensato che fosse una cosa molto inappropriata da chiedermi e ovviamente gli ho detto "no" e ho riferito lo scambio ad Ahmed. Quindi - ad eccezione di questi brevi scambi, il viaggio è stato fantastico e uno che non dimenticheremo mai. Poiché le grandi parti del viaggio sono state così eccezionali, andrò avanti e darò una valutazione a 5 stelle e dimenticherò alcune cose discutibili che sono successe.

This company doesn't have their own tour guides and just resale you to freelance tour guides and cruise. The freelance tour guide was fake, and more interested in ripping us off than showing us a good time & earn his tip. Pro: - Booking was easy. - As for all private tour, they take care of all the logistic. - They greet you at the airport. Con: - We were told the sim card have 10 GB of data, it stopped after 2GB and doesn't work until we recharged it ourselves. - The 5-star nile cruise is a fake 5-star (guess all of them are 5-star). Old boat, and really bad food. - Tour guides don't allow enough time at the tourist attractions, and constantly nagging for tips. They weren't interested in showing us the attraction, and more interested in taking you to "papyrus museum" and "alabaster factory" (don't go, these are tourist traps). It felt like my private tour guide was sizing us up the whole time, to see how much money he can get out from us. Our Luxor - Aswan tour guide was pushing hard for us to do the extra Nubian village tour, even though we have already paid for the Abu Simben tour, and he know fully well we won't be able to cover both Abu Simben, Aswan, and Nibian village all in one day. - While on the tour, our tour guide demand a 5-star tripadvisor review, and "take a screen shoot and send to me". Sorry, I won't lie.

So far so good, booking was easy! Maro did an excellent job explaining the options and has been very responsive. We are all booked and looking forward to the trip. Friends recommended this tour company and we would recommend them as well.

Siamo stati benissimo durante il nostro viaggio in Egitto grazie alle nostre guide: Khaled al Cairo e Magdy durante la crociera sul Nilo. Entrambi erano guide molto buone, amichevoli e competenti, appassionate di storia. Abbiamo trascorso un periodo molto piacevole con loro. La sistemazione al Cairo è stata perfetta: Le Meridien Pyramid. La nave da crociera (Radamis I) era un po 'datata, ma il personale ha fatto del suo meglio per compensare questo, erano molto attenti e il cibo era molto buono. Osama, che ci ha accolto all'aeroporto, è stato molto efficiente. Ci ha aiutato con il visto e anche con il trasferimento a Luxor. I piloti erano tutti molto bravi (il traffico al Cairo è pazzo) e puntuali. Altamente raccomandato!
