Great entry-level visit to historical Egyptian sights, very nice accomodation and staff!
Excellent trip with friendly & helpful staff, beautiful sights and scenery. Only potential improvement: more authentic local food. (Was a bit too standard international for us.)
Special thanks to our friendly guide Dr. Mohamed Hosny for providing an abundance of historical facts and context to the sights and providing additional options to visit.

Tremendous experience for kids!
Our family of four loved our Nile Cruise. The natural beauty of the Nile was breathtaking and we really lucked out with a Private Tour by Egyptologist Amro Ghanem. His advanced expertise allowed us to absorb not only spectacular stories about Egyptian history, archeology and culture, but also to develop skills in reading Hieroglyphs. Our 10- and 13- year olds were enthralled! He was generous and professional in ensuring we had a smooth tour to/from each cultural site, avoiding crowds, and steering us past pesky merchants. Huge thanks to him and to Mohammed Mostafa who organized the entire vacation with tidy and easy communication on WhatsApp.

Absolute pleasure to have taken on this amazing adventure - Ahmed was a guide of perfection, very courteous and knowledgeable - taking photos as we went - the cruise boat was perfect and staff very accommodating- we took advantage of the balloon flight which was quite an emotional experience, seeing Luxor life from birds eye view
Cannot thank everyone enough including our drivers for making our cruise so perfect
Thank you

Great experience - Outstanding service
We booked our 4-day Nile Cruise through Egypy Unlimited Tours. Everything was executed with perfection. Mohamed was always responsive from the beginning of the reservation, answering all my questions, to the very end when we arrived back in Cairo.
We selected Ms/ Living Stone Amwaj for this cruise, The boat was well maintained, our room was spacious and very clean, the service was outstanding and the food was really good.
Our tour guide, Mohamed (a different one) was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and provided an outstanding service. The overall experience was great and I highly recommend Egypt Unlimited Tours.

Amazing company for Nile cruise
An amazing experience from start to finish I contacted Egypt unlimited tours after reading some of the reviews. I had a feeling it was a good company to work with and it was beyond my expectations Mohammed was the one who took my call and he made sure I got everything I needed Ahmed was waiting for us at Aswan airport then he took us to meet Mostafa our private tour guy. Mostafa was amazing with a lot of knowledge he took us to many places and explained everything in English and Arabic. Very professional and very knowledgeable. I was really very impressed and very happy with the whole experience it really exceeded my expectations. I recommend Egypt Unlimited tours for the Nile cruises. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing Experience
Our 4-day, 3-night Nile River Cruise with Egypt Unlimited was beyond amazing. They were accommodating from the very beginning when I booked the tour all the way through to the very end and beyond. Our flight from Cairo to Aswan was delayed several times and the tour company kept in touch and was still waiting for us when we arrived over 3 hours later than originally planned. We met with Amr at the airport who helped us gather our bags and ushered us off to our waiting van and our guide for the next days-Mustafa. We quickly moved to our first sight to roam around the Philae Temple. Here we spent about 1-1.5 hours exploring the island and gathering knowledge from Mustafa on the history. We then went to an essential oils factory where we got to watch blown glass being created and sample hibiscus tea along with several essential oils made locally in Aswan. Our last stop before heading to the boat for lunch was the Unfinished Obelisk. The Unfinished Obelisk, if not included in the tour, we would have skipped. It is just a giant Obelisk on the ground in a quarry. Wasn’t really worth the time to see (about 30 minutes) and would’ve rather have spent more time exploring the Philae Temple. Check in on the boat was completely handled by Mustafa, we didn’t have to do anything but give him our passports and then he provided us with keys to our room and we were able to just sit down and eat. After lunch, we hopped on a felucca to sail on the Nile for the very first time. We met up with a powerboat which continued our travel to the Nubian village to explore how they live in Egypt. This is an additional cost but it was fun to see and if you are in the mood, there are plenty of shops for you to purchase souvenirs if wanted. Our second day started extremely early with another additional purchased tour to Abu Simbel Temple which is a 3 hour drive away. I highly recommend taking this tour even though the price is a little expensive, but the temples and the views are amazing. On our way back to the ship we stopped at the Aswan High Dam to see where they changed the direction of the Nile back in the 1990s. Back to the ship for lunch and to sail to Kom Ombo. We visited the Temple at night which included the museum of mummified crocodiles. Back on the ship for dinner, cocktail hour and cruise during the night up to Edfu. Day 3 started at 630 am and included seeing the Edfu (Horus) Temple. From here we went back to the ship for breakfast and a full day sail to Luxor. Once in Luxor we had the option to visit Luxor Temple that night or to save it for the next day. We opted to see it that night which was lit up and gorgeous. They were doing quite a bit of construction because they were working to open the Avenue of Sphinx the following week where the President was to be in town which made navigating the temple a bit more hazardous in the dark but still worth the visit. Back on board for the night was dinner and belly dancers. Our 4th and final day was to begin at 4am with a hot air balloon (additional purchase) however, this was postponed due to the weather, but the tour company still followed up to ensure we made the tour and had a good time. We instead began at 8 am and covered the Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari and finally Temple of Karnak before being dropped off at our hotel. All and all we would recommend paying the additional for Nubian Village, Abu Simbel Temple and Hot Air Balloon Ride as well as a private tour, it’s worth it to have a guide completely dedicated to your group rather than being placed in a larger group with everyone speaking the language you need. Mustafa was AMAZING! Helped us skip the lines, I mean every line from getting into temples to getting into the bathroom. He would buy snacks, coffee and pay for us to use the restroom when we didn’t have small bills. Really felt as if we became friends by the end of the tour and were sad to not have him with us for the rest of our time in Egypt. If booking any tour with Egypt Unlimited, which you should, we cannot recommend Mustafa enough. As for the boat, it was older and a bit run down but the beds/pillows were comfortable. The food was just ok, and we found it extremely odd to have to pay for every drink, including water. Lastly, time spent at the sights seemed rushed-not due to our guide but due to the decision to only do the 4 day tour rather than the longer 7 day option.

Great experience
We chose this tour and did not regret it.
I would highly recommend having a private guide, experience was great. Ahmed was a very good guide for us not only telling a lot about the sights we were visiting, but also organized some additional activities: Nubian village visit and balloon ride.
He was also very helpful with daily tasks such as finding ATMs and getting water.
Cruise ship was nice: cabins are sufficiently large, has good toilet/shower facilities. Food was OK.

Best option to book a private Nile Cruise Tour
We have had the best experience. Firstly, the advice from the owner of Egypt Unlimited Tours was key to select the right ship for the cruise (so many and so dificult to know which one to choose...).
Furthermore, Mohamed, our private guide and egyptologist during the tour, was very helpfull, knowledgeable and kind to us, and we even were able to make some changes to our original tour plan without problem.
This has been our second Nile cruise (besides other trips to Egypt along the past 16 years) and this was the best one of all. We do strongly recomend this tour company, cruise and tour guide.

Very memorable experience
Thank you Mohammed Badwey for being an awesome guide, we had an amazing experience on this 4 day trip, certainly very memorable and looking forward to go back and do it all over again with the same company and the same guide, highly recommended! Aswan and Luxor are truly the most beautiful in Egypt!
Needless to say our guide was phenomenal, knowledgeable, informative, helpful and committed, he basically had the mask on 99 percent of the time although we were all vaccinated including himself but he kept it professional which makes him very unique, he took his time explaining the sights on the cruise boat before going to them knowing that it would be crowded there and not wanting to skip important information, making it so exciting and interesting to see in person.
our toddler was with us and he was extremely patient in dealing with her and even offered to stay with her while we went to visit tombs in the valley of the kings which he recommended to us based on his wide knowledge!
He answered questions and was patient in painting and connecting mythology and history together creating the most vivid view of ancient egypt and making it the most enjoyable experience!
Would I do it all over again? ABSOLUTELY YES!! and will certainly ask for Mr. Badwey to be out guide, and we would probably choose the longer trip”5 days” because we think that some of the places we visited had limited time frame and that made us feel rushed sometimes.. especially Idfu which was my favorite temple and definitely the biggest in my personal opinion but didn’t spend enough time because we had to rush back to the boat to sail to Luxor. So if your someone that likes to take pictures and videos or shop for some souvenirs after the tour you probably not going to have enough time.
There was an allusion to two certain topics : abu simbal being mentioned in itinerary stating that entrance/ admission is not included but come to find out neither addmission nor transportation was included ( basically making the whole sight not included in tour ) we ended up not going, we spent that morning touring local area around the boat location and went to the local market “soup” which was really great!
the second point is that the food on the boat was included BUT drinks were not so any water- juice-soda is an out of pocket cost which isnt clearly stated when booking tour and neither is stated on boat untill after making you sign off for the excess charge.
You so however get free tea/coffee during breakfast and tea hour at 4 o’clock.
TIP: if you’re planning on traveling from Cairo to Aswan DO NOT take the sleeper train, we will never take it again instead we will luckily fly next time.
Another tip is make plans to visit Abo simple and find the best deal possible to go. Oo and also the hot air balloon is a must do in Luxor, I used Sindbad and paid 500 EGP a person including everything.
Overall very pleased with our tour and looking forward to go on more tours with them in the near future, after one week of being back home we already wanna go back! Thank you

Amazing Egyptologist who became a true friend!!!
I am an avid solo traveler and I am use to going to new countries without a tour guide. But this past fall I did a family trip to Egypt and was recommended to this travel agency. I was hesitant and first as I’m use to getting around on my own. But after my experience I could not be happier. We were provided an amazing Egyptologist named Akmend who by the end of the trip truly felt like a family friend. He was thorough in his knowledge of the temples we visited. He was extremely accommodating to our needs even going so far as to tracking down film shops to help us get 35mm film. He was a great buffer between us and the locals venders who were constantly trying to sell us something. I could not speak more kindly about Akmend. He made our trip from Aswan to Luxor an incredible experience and I thank him whole heartedly. I could not recommend him enough. If you go to Aswan and take this cruise, tell him Tanner recommended him! Great guy, great experience.
