Day trip to cairo

Really good value trip , however you do need to gauge the price with the long journey 8hrs+ each way inc stops ,pretty standard coach ( no wi fi,no charging points,no water ), also the transits from mini bus to coach pick up and drop off didn't co ordinate very well, ( 1 hrs wait on outward ,fine coming back ( 10 mins)). You will also be dragged along to a few shopping trips but you can sit them out, you will have 10$ tourist tax to pay and 10$ for nile cruise so factor that in and make sure you have cash for it . That aside compared to the 300 quid the package companies want this is fantastic value trip, at Egyptian museum for 9am > nile trip > drive through Cairo and lunch > couple of hours in at pyramids and sphinx , very safe very good staff on trip and overall amazing experience .

It was an amazing experience…

An amazing but long day trip from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo. We visited the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, enjoyed a boat ride on the Nile River, and saw the incredible Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx of Giza. Riding camels near the pyramids was a unique experience. The day was about 20 hours, but completely worth it.

Great experience!! You traveled with my family!! The trip was a bit challenging given the length but it was absolutely worth it! The tour guides and organizer are great people! They gave us great explanations and great advice throughout the trip!

Simply amazing

Everything was perfect on my full-day trip to Cairo — the magnificent Pyramids, the marvelous Great Sphinx, and the fascinating history at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Together with my Italian group, we decided to add two extra experiences — a camel ride to the pyramids and a mini cruise on the Nile — and that was the perfect choice. We had an amazing time. Before booking this trip, I read other reviews. Yes, it’s a long journey, and yes, they may try to convince you to buy things. But in my personal opinion, it’s all part of the experience. The breathtaking views are absolutely worth the long trip, and you can discover things you may have never seen before — like homemade perfumes (delicious! I didn’t want to shower when I got back to the hotel because I wanted to preserve the scent of the oils) and papyrus, which are unique and truly worthwhile. Also, all the staff deserve any tips you may wish to give them.

Definitely to be redone

A very nice experience pity about the food but it is normal when you go to another culture and another country for that matter I was fine

Bucket List Experience but a very demanding trip

This was a bucket list experience to see the ancient Pyramids, Sphinx & the Museum. The coach journey is horrendously long & cramped. We also were informed we had to pay for an extra visa to leave Sharm & an additional tourist tax which pretty much doubled the price of the ticket. We got collected at 11.15pm and by the time we had driven round Sharm picking up all the other passengers & waited at the airport for over an hour to sort out Visa's for several passengers we set off on the 8-hour coach trip. The seating on the coach was pretty bad and the reclining seats caused many arguments. If you take the journey out of the equation then the trip was fantastic. The guides were great & really knew their stuff. I would recommend flying from Sharm to Cairo but it's pricey! The trip was 27 hours by the time we got back to our hotel!

Not the best!!

Long delay at the start of the trip as other passengers didn’t have correct visa’s to travel and company hadn’t checked… we were not kept informed about delays and I had to chase several times. English was not always spoken so communication was poor. The day out itself was ok but I did this trip with another provider last November and it was a million times better! There were loads more stories told as we passed through the museum that were not mentioned this time as well as a lot more information about the history of Egypt and pyramids.
