Experience the largest museum of ancient Egyptian art with its treasures of Egypt’s great past, such as the high-quality tomb goods. Our tour guide will humorously explain the most important exhibits in a two-hour stay and answer your questions. Marvel at the last existing wonder of the world - a fabulous experience! A total of three pyramids can be found here : the Chephren, the Cheops and the Mykerinos pyramid. You can discover the terrain on foot, horseback or on camel for yourself. After visiting the pyramids of Giza, you will head to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and most preserved sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion's body. The sphinx was hewn from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Cheops pyramid. Felukenfahrt on the Nile. In consultation with the tour group for a fee.
You will be picked up from your hotel around 4am. Upon arrival in Cairo, your tour guide will meet you and accompany you throughout the tour. Meet your Egyptological tour guide at the museum to start your day. Visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest archaeological museum in the world with over 100,000 artifacts, or the Ancient Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Select your preferred museum during the booking process. Afterwards, enjoy your lunch. The further course of the excursion will take you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The pyramid tour ends at the Sphinx and the temple in its vicinity. If time permits, you will have the opportunity to drive to Cairo Bazaar at the end of the day before returning to Sharm el Sheikh. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be driven to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.
When returning from Cairo in the late evening, we will spend some time visiting medieval London (Khan el Klalili Market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafés and a giant dancing fountain, where you'll be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.
If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oils Factory. These two attractions will introduce you to ancient Egyptian techniques for making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits expand your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and are also helpful for the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very ancient handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (These visits depend on the time remaining.)
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Very long day but 100% worth every second! Perfectly organised with absolutely no issues what so ever, could not fault anything about the day and would 100% recommend! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Our guide Ahmed was the best tour guide that I have ever had the pleasure to meet, he was so enthusiastic, clearly loved his job which made the day so much more enjoyable, he was so knowledgeable with all aspects of Ancient Egypt, brilliant Egyptologist and such a kind lovely person, he made the day so enjoyable! I would highly recommend this trip if you want to visit Cairo from Sharm *****

ITS A LONG DAY, our hotel is 10 mins from the airport, we got picked up at 3:10am from the hotel. Got to the airport for 4am to catch the 5am flight. Our guide got our visas on the day for £30 cash but it’s easier if you get them on the way into sharm airport for £25. The plain was around 50mins and was pretty straightforward. We met our tour guide easily at Cairo airport. He took us to a local petrol station for some breakfast, then to the Nile for the optional £10 boat trip, lasted around 30 mins and was an experience. Then to the museum for opening at 9am. It’s closing July to be relocated so check before booking. There was some fascinating things to see and our tour guide (Ahmed) was great and full of knowledge. Then went to a local paper making factory, waste of time and just a ploy to get you to buy something, all the tours do this and it’s unavoidable. Then to lunch, it’s not the best but edible. Then to the pyramids, I visited 20 years ago and it’s nothing like it was. Very commercialised now and takes away from the authenticity a bit but still mind blowing. There’s an optional camel ride for £10, we did it but didn’t like the way they treat the animals, our camel host took some pictures and demanded a tip, the pictures were pretty cool to be honest and worth the 100 Egyptian pounds so we didn’t mind. We then saw the sphinx, again its very commercialised and ruined it a bit. Then to a perfume shop the same as the paper shop, it’s not too bad and was glad to be sat on a comfy chair in the aircon for half an hour. To kill time, our guide took us to a local market that was good to see but a little intimidating. Then dropped us at a huge mall for a couple of hours to kill a bit more time, then to the airport at 6:30pm to wait for our 9pm flight. There was a lot of wasted time on the trip, it’s all to save money on the early and late flight times. I would rather pay extra and get better flights. The 3am pickup time killed us and was dropping by 2pm. All in all it was worth doing, our guide was amazing and the bus was air conditioned, there was 12 people on our tour in a 14 seater bus and it was a little tight. I’m 6”3 so was a little irritated by the end of the day. My kids are 13 and 16, they wouldn’t have managed the long day so I would say if you have kids you need way better flight times. 1. If you can book your own flights and find a tour guide in Cairo it would be cheaper and much better experience. 2. Take snacks but no drinks as you can’t get them through security at the airport. 3.wear insect repellentand lip balm, the sand really dries your lips. 4. Get your visa as you enter sharm airport. 5.change for tips and the optional extras. 6.its hot, take small suncream that you can get through the airport. Cover your shoulders, wear a hat, it’s hot.

We participated in the Cairo tour and submarine. Everything was done on time as stated. We did not experience any problems. We were very pleased. We stayed in Sharm El Sheik. Next time we come, I will stay in Hurghada and prefer Book Tour Egypt for other historical region tours such as Luxor and Aswan.

Mario was a brilliant tour guide, thoroughly enjoyed the trip, it was my first solo holiday doing tours etc, and Mario made the whole experience great and very welcoming, extremely passionate about his culture/history and made it really interesting, really accomodating for any needs and made time for anything you wanted to do, (if you wanted more time at a certain place or to visit a certain area). Being a local, Mario somehow managed to get us to every location before the crowds, absolutely no queing even though for example the queue at the museum was huge, but as Mario is well acquainted with all the staff we could go directly to the front and straight in. It was very impressive that at every location we went it was really quiet on arrival, then as we were done it had become really crowded, so we had time to explore and learn about the history at leisure with no stress at all due to excellent timings and knowledge of busy times. Thank you for the trip 👌🏻
