An unforgettable experience in Luxor with an exceptional guide.

An unforgettable experience in Luxor with an exceptional guide! We (Stefan and lan) were very lucky to experience a private tour of Luxor with Egyptologist Mark - and it was just fantastic! Mark has more than 20 years of experience and you can see it every minute. With his passionate, competent and lively manner, he brought the fascinating history of Egypt to life for us. Our tour began at the imposing Karnak Temple, where Mark impressed us with exciting backstory and archaeological details. In addition to the classic sightseeing tour, we were able to get to know and taste a variety of flavors in a spice shop - a real feast for the senses! The demonstration for the production of papyrus was also extremely interesting and informative. We were then allowed to enjoy a fine meal in a restaurant on the Nile. Afterwards we continued with a private ride on the Nile with freshly brewed tea. We visited the “banana island” where we got an insight into the original life. Afterwards we continued to the legendary Valley of the Kings, where we visited several impressive tombs, each one unique and full of magic. The Memnon Colossi and the elegant Temple of Hatshepsut rounded off the ancient highlights. What was particularly impressive was how Mark repeatedly made historical connections and responded to our questions with great sensitivity. In a marble manufactory we finally got an insight into the artful craftsmanship of the region. This tour was perfectly organized, varied and incredibly educational - without any time pressure. We felt in good hands and would recommend Mark at any time. If you really want to understand and experience Luxor, you are in the best hands with him! Not to mention our fantastic driver Ali who accompanied us all day and drove back safely to the hotel! Thank you, Mark and Ali, for this unforgettable experience!

Wonderful trip to...

Wonderful excursion to Luxor with Tours We made a day trip to Luxor with the company Viator and were absolutely thrilled! Our guide Marc was really incredibly nice, authentic and very competent. He explained everything with a lot of patience and in a great, child-friendly way, so that our children also had real fun and learned a lot. Marc always knew a shortcut, was well organized and provided a very family and warm atmosphere. You could tell that he is doing his job with passion and really cares about the group. We started in Marsa Alam at 4am in the morning, the journey took about five hours. There were two to three drivers who took turns driving – so everything was safe and relaxed. The trip itself was very impressive – Luxor is simply fascinating and the whole organization worked out perfectly. We can recommend this trip without restriction – especially for families!

Wonderful trip

We had a wonderful trip to Luxor yesterday and the experience was truly unforgettable! Our guide, Magdalene, was simply wonderful: competent, passionate and able to convey the love for the history and culture of ancient Egypt in an engaging way. Thanks to her we learned so much and felt part of a journey through time. The driver was also very good, always attentive and safe to drive, making the route pleasant and relaxed. The only small aspect that took us by surprise was the car change during the journey, which had not been communicated to us in advance and initially worried us a bit. It would be better to warn first to avoid misunderstandings. Overall, however, the excursion was fantastic and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Luxor in an authentic way and with highly professional guides!

An unforgettable day in Luxor – highly recommended!

On 17th of August, we had the great pleasure of taking a day trip to Luxor with our driver Ahmed and our guide Mark – and it was simply perfect from start to finish. Ahmed picked us up punctually at 4 a.m. and drove us safely to Luxor in about 3.5 hours. Once we arrived, we met Mark, who guided us through the entire day with passion and expertise. Our first stop was the Karnak Temple. Thanks to Mark’s perfect planning, we were among the very first visitors and could enjoy the temple almost on our own – when we left, the crowds were just arriving. He explained the temple’s history and architecture in detail, making it easy to understand. On top of that, he turned out to be an excellent photographer and took some truly beautiful pictures of us. Next, we visited a papyrus workshop, where we were shown in German how papyrus is traditionally made. Afterwards, we stopped at a spice shop where we could smell and taste different spices – the chicken spice was our absolute favorite 😍. Lunch was served at a restaurant by the Nile with a buffet of fresh dishes (all salads washed with mineral water). Drinks were extra, but no problem. After lunch, we enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the Nile – just us alone on the boat, which made it very special. In the afternoon, we visited the Valley of the Kings, the absolute highlight of the day. Again, thanks to Mark’s planning, we were among the first to enter, avoiding the tourist crowds. He explained everything thoroughly and even warned us about common tourist traps inside the tombs – very helpful! We also stopped at a handicraft workshop where statues are made by hand. The people were very welcoming, toilets were free, and with Mark’s help we managed to negotiate a fair price for a souvenir we liked. Our last stop was the breathtaking Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari) – the perfect ending to a perfect day. Finally, a huge thank you: • Mark guided us with so much passion, knowledge and care that we truly felt like part of his family. • Ahmed was an excellent driver, always on time, driving very safely, and even surprising my daughter with ice cream and cookies. This tour was one of the absolute highlights of our Egypt trip. We always felt safe, comfortable and very well looked after. ➡️ We can 100% recommend this tour – it was an unforgettable day!

An unforgettable day in Luxor – highly recommended!

An unforgettable day in Luxor – highly recommended! We were very lucky to take our driver Ahmed and our guide Mark on a day trip to Luxor on August 17th – and this day was just perfectly organised. Already at 4am we were picked up on time by Ahmed. The 3.5-hour ride passed quickly as he is a very safe and pleasant driver. Once in Luxor, Mark joined us, and from there began a wonderful journey into the history of Egypt. Our first stop was the Karnak Temple. Mark explained to us vividly and with a lot of expertise the structure of the temple complexes and the rituals of the pharaohs. Thanks to his planning, we were there so early that we had the temple almost to ourselves – when we went out, the large groups of visitors met us. In addition, he took beautiful photos of us – he knows exactly how to capture memories perfectly. We continued to a papyrus workshop where we got a demonstration in German. Afterwards we visited a spice shop where we were allowed to taste – the chicken spice was our favourite 😍. Lunch on the Nile was very delicious, with buffet and fresh salads (all washed with mineral water). Drinks had to be paid extra, but that was no problem. Afterwards we enjoyed a relaxing boat trip on the Nile – just us alone, a very special moment of peace. In the afternoon we went to the Valley of the Kings – an absolute highlight for us. Again, we were almost alone on site due to Mark's clever planning. He explained the main details and warned of small tourist traps that could easily be overlooked. Another stop was a workshop for handmade statues. The people there were very welcoming, the toilets free, and with Mark's help we were able to act well when buying. Finally, we visited the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari) – a perfect end to the tour. Finally, I would like to say a big thank you: • Mark accompanied us with so much passion, expertise and care that we felt like we were part of his family. • Ahmed was a great driver, always on time, very safe on the road and even so attentive to buying my daughter ice cream and cookies.

Hot day in Luxor

We had the team of Ahmed Saleh (driver) and Prof Ahmed Elsisi (Egyptologist) on this very hot day tour in Luxor. Ahmed was a great driver. We started the day in El Gouna and he got us to Luxor in 4 hours with a couple stops. He brought water and drinks for us which was amazing in the 107° day. Prof Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable and told stories to go along with the history. It made the day very interesting. We visited all the temples and were able to customize the tour. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone. It is a long day but definitely worth it.

Fantastic Day

I am writing about the private day tour from Marsa Alam to Luxor that I booked with you, which my partner and I took yesterday. We wanted to thank you for this fantastic and perfectly organized day. Special thanks to our Hala guide, who was professional and met our needs. Special thanks also to our driver Mustafa, who did his job admirably. It was a fantastic day for us and we will take it home as a wonderful memory. Best regards, Alice and Mirko from Italy.
