Hidden within the desert mountains, this remarkable archaeological site contains more than 60 tombs carved deep into the rock and decorated with vibrant wall paintings and ancient hieroglyphs that illustrate the journey to the afterlife. Highly Recommend!!

Awesome trip! Well worth it! We had Eslam pick us up from Marsa Alam and drove us all the way to Luxor. He always ensured we were comfortable and had enough water, snacks, etc as we needed. He is a great driver that got us to the Karnak temples early enough to beat the crowds, and all the way back home before dinner time! It’s a long drive, but honestly went by pretty quick. Mena was our tour guide and was so so knowledgeable. You could tell he really knows his stuff! He was very fun, helpful and engaging. Quick to answer any questions we had and gave us tips for the best experience at the tombs. Both Eslam and Mena are from Luxor so they have a ton of insight on the best spots in town. We always felt safe and well taken care of with these guys. Would recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome time seeing the best sites of Luxor.

Excellent Service and Experienced Guide

Great value trip! Islam is a fantastic, speedy but safe driver who got us to the Karnak temples before the crowds. Mena is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. They both went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The Valley of the Kings and Karnak temples, and the day overall was very much enhanced by Mina’s guidance. You also have two opportunities to shop locally made artisan products and the crafters give you demonstrations on the ancient crafts.

Private guided trip to Luxor

The driver picked us up on time at our hotel. Muhammad is a pleasant driver and made sure we were comfortable during the trip to Luxor. In Luxor we met up with our guide Mena, who prepared us with a lot of information about our tour before and during our trip to Karnak and Valley of the Kings. Mena made our day in Luxor interesting and fun! He has a great sense of humor and his English is excellent! We surely recommend everyone to book this tour when visiting Egypt! H. Nguyen

A journey to ancient Egypt

The journey from Marsa Alam is demanding (about 5 hours to go and 5 hours to return) but it is worth it. It's like being on a movie set. It is also a must to visit Tutankhamun's tomb. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and snacks because the "bars" are very expensive (6 euros for a small packet of biscuits).

Experience of a Lifetime

We were picked up at 4 am sharp by Islam, our driver for the day. he is very friendly and made sure we always had something to drink (free), and he turned out to be a very good driver, who made it to Luxor in time. In Luxor we met our guide Mena (left on photo). Mena is know everything there is to know about all sites in Luxor (Karnak, Hatshepsut, Valley of the Kings Tombs, Kolossi). He made sure we got around problem-free, and also showed us how the different stones were processed, and how papyrus is made, all hustle-free. We hade a delicious, authentic lunch in-between. All-in-all, we had the time of our life, an experience never to forget, not in the least thanks to Mena and Islam (who returned us to our hotel before 9pm).

Fantastic excursion organized by professional, nice and helpful people!

We had booked the excursion to Luxor with the hotel where we were staying but the night before it was cancelled and it was our last day in Egypt. Luckily, searching on the internet I found this agency that organized the excursion in just 9 hours (I booked in the evening at 23:00 and at 08:00 the taxi driver picked us up at the hotel!). In particular I would like to thank Mohamed Mousa for his professionalism, who literally saved our dream of visiting Luxor, organizing an ad hoc excursion for us in no time! In addition, the taxi driver, Salah, took us to Luxor with a private car in safety, always available to our every need and very nice! Once we arrived in Luxor for the whole day he waited for us and accompanied us for all the stops, while we were accompanied by a very young guide, Nervien: a girl passionate about history, who studied thoroughly and passionately the wonders of Luxor and Egypt and explained everything in detail. In detail we visited the temple of Hatshepsut, the valley of the Kings, the colossus of Memnon and the temple of Luxor. I recommend this excursion to everyone but especially this agency of fantastic and professional people!
