For sure an adventure
For Mody travel:
* having an itinerary is the best way to communicate with travelers, we had none and our plane tickets from Cairo to Aswan / and return flights were given the night before so everything is very LAST MINUTE.
* pick up from hotel was on time, on the return to Cairo my guide Talaat had no idea that this was included so I had to take an Uber to the hotel, again no one knows what’s going on within their own company which leads to a complete mess.
Guide Talaat Abdo:
* I was ready for the haggle with street vendors and such but the last thing that crossed my mind was that I was gonna have to haggle w my own your guide, the day we met he sat us and told us to give him 250$ and our passports for the cruise, the 250$ turned into 300$ and then after hrs of me asking questions he left it at 210$ but again I was very annoyed with this.
Talaat is very knowledgeable but needs to slow down his story bc some of us needs to get used to his accent.
Cruise Egilkia;
Nice room very nice staff, food was the same for the 4 days, same cooking, same everything, I did expect some variety. Drinks not included, bring snacks bc there’s NO food if u miss your meal times which vary all the time.

It was ok, just remember to ask for an itinerary
The room on the cruise was clean and comfortable. The food was also very good on the cruise and catered for many dietary requirements.
The guide was not as good, as the itinerary changed from day to day. We were expected to get up at 3:30/4:30am everyday and were not told until they would call our room in the morning. Communication with guests needs to be improved.

Nile Cruise
I recently went on a cruise trip in Egypt and it was fantastic. The ship was amazing, the itinerary was perfectly planned, and the food was delicious. We visited iconic landmarks and cruised down the Nile River while enjoying onboard entertainment.
Our guide Mahmoud Amin was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of Egypt, and his insight made the trip even more enriching.
The trip exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.

EXCELLENT!!
This cruise truly exceeded my expectations!!! I had a lot of worries about transportation, flights, etc. but our guide Mahmoud was very organized and had everything set up in advance. Mahmoud was very knowledgeable of the Egyptian history, current culture and overall was hilarious! We also felt very safe traveling with him. If he saw we were worried or vendors were hounding us too much he prompted us to stay by his side. As a 28 year old woman that was a big deal for me. The crew on the ship were very attentive and always checking in to make sure you were happy. There were afternoon tea parties almost everyday and entertainment in the lounge every night. The boat only had 80-100 guests so it was small and intimate. Everyone received a water view room. It was nice to not pay for excursions in advance because then you could choose the day before if you wanted to attend or if you wanted to spend your time sun bathing on the boat or exploring on your own. Highly recommend this trip!!! We saw so many beautiful pieces of Egypt we never thought we would!!

Vacation of a lifetime
My family (husband, mother, and two kids) booked this cruise for our family trip to Egypt. After searching multiple sites, we decided this would be the best way to travel and see all the important sites we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend this tour, our guide Mahmoud was extremely knowledgeable and kind. When booking your Egypt vacation make sure to book this cruise, it will be worth it!

Great value!
Excellent trip and great value. Mahmoud is a great guide. Very attentive and knowledgeable. This company is high quality for the price. The cruise Nile Symphony is excellent and the boat crew and waiters are excellent. Thank you all for a great time.

Best trip of my life
The experience was simply amazing. Everyone was super kind and friendly, always ready to help and quick to reply.
The itinerary was packed with amazing things to see and Mahmoud was super knowledgeable and fun, always providing the best recommendations and guidance for our journey in egipt.
We were part of a very young, dynamic and friendly group that Mahmoud help bond together, making the trip very enjoyable and definitely one of the best of my life.
The cruise itself is very modern and the staff is superb, with great food everyday and parties at night!
They are always ready to make pranks and interact with us in a friendly manner.
Overall, an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Egypt!

So so trip
It was an OK trip. We were unhappy that even though the trip was supposed to be 5 days and 4 nights but it ended up being 4 days and 4 nights. Originally we were supposed to have two days in Ashwan. We ended up with only one day in Ashwan because of the flight booking. Despite the fact we gave the tour company, Mody Tour, our passports as they have requested before we left for Egypt. They did not book our return flight until the day before our departure from Ashwan. On the day we arrived Ashwan, we were simply told that the plans have changed and that we had to leave the morning on our last day. That essentially cut our stay in Ashwan down to one day. We had to choose between seeing the sights in Ashwan or going to the optional tour of Abu Simble. The original plan they gave us was to fly us out in the evening of the last day allowing us two days in Ashwan with one day in Ashwan and the second day to AbuSimble. It would have been easy to book our return flights from Ashwan if they had booked it when we sent them our passport 2 weeks before. But they didn’t book our return flights until the last minutes.
When we first arrived the boat, we were asked by the tour guide to give him a sum to cover the entrance fees and tips. And we did, We were not told that we had the choice to purchase the tickets ourselves. We didn’t know that there is a premium above the actual entrance fees when we prepaid the tour guide. If for any reason we didn’t go to the sight, we probably still wouldn’t get any money back. We would have preferred to purchase park entrance ourselves. In fact there were very few people buying tickets in any of the sights we visited.

5 Star Cruise! Highly Recommend.
My family and I had an incredible experience during this tour. Our guide was Mahmoud and we enjoyed our time with him. He was thorough, knowledgeable and personable. In addition, he was patient and understanding as we were traveling with small children. I highly recommend this cruise and would easily book again whenever we come back to Egypt!
Our only issue was not knowing our departing and returning flight information from the tour operator until hours beforehand, which made it somewhat difficult for planning purposes.

Nice experience over the Nile
Visited the most important sites over the Nile, temples were amazing. Hotel and airport pickup was smooth. Mahmoud Amin was our tour guide and very knowledgeable about Egyptian history, very recommendable for family and friends. Tours are very early morning but worth the views and sunrises. Cruise staff was also great
