Roshdy for king! 👑 he was the best’’

Roshdy was amazing. Very informative took us to see all all the teams that we wanted to see was very informative and really fun. I really enjoyed it at the beginning when he showed us a deck of postcards and walked us through a lot of the things that we had seen in Luxorand some of the things that we were gonna see in the tombs.

An informative and enjoyable full day tour

We began our tour with a private pick up from our hotel and were warmly greeted by our guide Ahmed. He was very welcoming and explained the outline of the day clearly. Everything was organised and included in our price with no hidden extras which was great. Ahmed was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and with a wealth of experience as evidenced by the warm greetings he had with other tour guides throughout the day. All of the historic sites that we visited were incredible, Ahmed walked us through a timeline of Ancient Egypt explaining the various sights in detail before allowing us time to explore for ourselves. It was a long day and did involve a couple of stops at tourist traps including an Alabaster factory and Papyrus museum. As is the Egyptian way, there was concerted but not forceful pressure for us to make purchases during the visits but these did not detract from the tour and we were able to walk away empty handed without concern. Overall, a fantastic experience, thoroughly recommended.

Roshdy our Anubis!

Roshdy was a fantastic guide and one of the best we had while in Egypt. His depth of knowledge was crazy impressive without feeling overwhelming. He always gave a nice overview of each site and then was happy to do a deeper dive on any image, subject or matter of interest. He also did a great job of protecting us from aggressive hawkers of wares, which was most appreciated. Not sure if he always uses the same driver, but our driver was awesome too and had a nice, cool and very clean car. Don’t hesitate to book with Roshdy!

Beautiful day at the Westbank and Eastbank in Luxor

Two great people, our driver Joseph and our guide Khaled. They picked us up at Luxor airport and we started our day in the Kings Valley. Khaled knew how to tell us plenty and take us into the Dynasties of Egypt, ancient Thebes, which is now called Luxor. Wonderfully beautiful everything, about 3500 years old!!! 5 to 6 Tombs visited, partly on Khaled's advice, including Tutankhamun. The impressive temple of Hatchepsut with explanation of Khaled. The colossi of Memnon, only pictures taken from the car. Delicious lunch at Howard Carter's house/museum. The Karnak temel partly together with Khaled and partly walked around himself, very impressive. Temple of Luxor also beautiful, at nightfall, seen slightly on, magnificent. Hugely enjoyed!!! Thank Khaled and Joseph!!!!
