Luxor is an amazing city, full of history and culture. We had a fantastic female tour guide called Noha, to show us some of the sites. If you want to book with her, you can WhatsApp her on +20 114 898 2069

Exceptional tour with Roshdy

My daughter and I have just had an incredible private tour with Roshdy. His knowledge of the all the sites we visited was unbelievable and he answered my constant question easily . It makes a big difference to visit with someone so passionate, and either such a wealth of information. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Roshdy and his driver ensured we had an amazing day and I am very grateful.

The Perfect Private Guide in Luxor

We just spent three fantastic days touring many of the sites and sounds of Luxor with our amazing guide Roshdy Khodary. We were so lucky to have him. Roshdy is a lovely guy, a very professional and knowledgeable Egyptologist, and a genuinely nice and caring person. He knows people and has friends everywhere we went and people clearly like him. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND him for anyone coming to Luxor but he works all over Egypt. We hired Roshdy for a private tour for two of us but he can handle tours of any size. USE HIM and you will be sure to have a special experience.

Tour was fine, AVOID suggested shopping experience

We spent a day with Khaled, our guide on a private tour of Luxor’s East Bank. Khaled was our most competent, interesting, speaking very good English guide from all the guides we had experience with either in Cairo or Luxor. . However we still fell into a trap (his proposal) of purchasing and overpaying for our engraved names in silver(25 EUR/piece). A nice souvenir so I did not mind. However I recommend to AVOID any other shopping experiene hidden under some info session, e.g. 1. A marble production experience by o local ‘tribe’ is a total commercial scam of 45 sec intro and the shop visiting where you are pushed to buy sth. that is clearly highly overpriced. In addition we had a very unpleasant payment experience with double charging using 3 different payment terminals. It was a very suspicious situation. My suggestion is simply to avoid that place unless you have spare time. 2. ‘Spices shop’ another interesting place where they tried to sell us a 300g pack of dates for 30 (!!!) USD. We found exactly the same product in a local supermarket for 120 pounds ($2.5)!!! The spiecies were overpriced multiple times after ‘negotitiations’ and packaged in simple loose plastic bags so cannot even work as gifts back home. Overall guiding experience 4/5 (Khaled could have been more involved in guiding, comparing to other guides observed on site) and we spent 40% of the tour’s allocated time on a not-added value overpriced shopping experience with an attempt to double charge us.

From Hurghada to Luxor

Well, I feel another scam , you buy the ticket to Luxor to see 3 tombs , they have a lot there, but to go to see the Tutankhamen you need to pay separately, then the tour organised time wise so you will not have time for three tombs included in the price of a compulsory ticket and visit Tutankhamen tomb, so you will have to sacrifice one tomb in case you want to see Tutankhamen , why they would not allow more time, it’s around 12 minutes for each three tombs, so you have paid for them but no time to visit, plus they are all empty, apart from Tutankhamen tomb! So, I feel scammed again no value for my money! Why would not include Tutankhamen in the price of a ticket and give people more time ? SCAM
