Would take this tour again

Covering all of the main sites on Luxor’s West Bank, this tour is ideal for anyone who wants a thorough and informative experience. We learned a lot about the sites and our guide Mohsen was with us along the way to make sure everything went smoothly, such as providing us with snacks, helping us take pictures, organizing entry tickets, directing us to avoid crowds etc. Despite the large number of places we saw we also never felt rushed as we were given lots of time to immerse ourselves at each location.

Valley of The Kings Trip with my excellent tour guide Khaled

I flew from Cairo to Luxur for a lifelong dream to see the Valley of the Kings. I met with my driver and tour Guide Khaled. They were on time and ready to get started. Khaleds English is perfect and from the start of our trip, i got the feeling that Khaleb is born for this job. He went out of his way to make me feel safe, he was very open for my questions and explained the answers about the history in detail. After the Valley of Kings we further explores three other sites and he again went out of his way to explain the history of the sites to me. I could not uave asked for a better tiur guide and i am really glad that Khaled could speak English so fluently. I would like to thank the team of Reflections Tour for their hospitality and save driving for the day!

Very good tour

I think this tour was very good. Good point · The tour guide explained each site very carefully. He was also easy to talk to and kind enough to take breaks and buy juice. ・They took me to Luxor and Karnak temples which were not planned. ・He took a lot of pictures. Something that caught my attention ・When I was moving from the ruins to the ruins, I stopped by to make a work out of stone for a drink break. Then I was given a free drink and explained the works in the store. After the explanation, I was told that I could look around the store however I wanted, but I wasn't interested at all. It also created an atmosphere where you had to buy something to get out. After that, I was pressured to follow him silently from behind. I asked him how much a small scarab would cost and he said $30. If I said I'd buy it for $3, they thought I wouldn't buy it, so I stopped following them. · All the tour plans have been completed and I said goodbye to the guide first. At this time, I tipped my guide. I also thought about giving it to the driver, but I've been conveying nuances like I don't need it. I thought he was an unusual type of person. Then I thought the driver was kind enough to buy us something like sugarcane juice on the way to our destination, but again, this kindness had its backside and we were taken to a spice shop that didn't quite make sense. There, he told me to take the idea, which made no sense. The restaurant was empty and very difficult to get out, but again I told them I wasn't really interested and managed to escape safely. · When I got to my destination, I thought I would tip this driver too, complaining that I had raised little cash, and then I tipped him only. I told him I couldn't give it to him because I didn't have enough cash and he finally let me go. He took it well, showing that he didn't need it just now. I thought, what the hell is this guy? In conclusion, the tour guide was a very kind and nice man and liked it, but the driver was a jerk, perhaps unlucky. And I felt that it was necessary to tell them firmly no to push-sellers who were not interested.

A morning on the West Bank with Khaled

I visited the West Bank sites in May with Khaled, he was very friendly, telling stories and history as we traveled and arrived at each site. I had plenty of time to wander the tombs and temples, with the fees, water, and lunch included in the price of the trip. I would highly recommend Khaled

Moshes (Moss to Boss) was one of the best guides I have had and I had been all over the world…. I was just just amazed to be surrounded by all that history.

Beautiful tour

It was a great tour overall. I really enjoyed it. It covered so many tombs and temples. I would recommend this tour package to everyone. Especially since it involves a lot of driving around the Valley of the Kings, Queens and the numerous tombs and temples. I'd recommend to not to go on your own as this involves many places of interests and you would not want to be hiring a taxi driver here with all the haggling. It is too draining and you're way better off choosing a package of TripAdvisor. I had a great Guide Noby who was assigned to me. Patient chap who showed up earlier to pick me up at the doorstep of my hotel. Kind and intuitive fellow who is passionate in what he does. I could feel his passionate cry when he explained how some of the stones in the 5000 year old temples were removed by Turkish Kings in the 20th century to build sugar cane factories. He is passionate about Egyptology and i would recommend Noby as a guide to everyone. All in all it was a great experience. Go for it.
