Private Day tour of Valley of the Kings

Had an excellent private day tour of Valley of the Kings and Hatchepsut Temple with Barry of Reflection Travel! The driver picked me up right on time at the hotel and together we picked up Barry who lived closer to the sites. Barry was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I wanted to see more than the 3 tombs permitted from the base ticket at the Valley of the Kings and Barry gave me recommendations and also provided detailed information of the history of those tombs and their pharaohs! Overall, great experience and highly recommend this tour with Barry!

Great day tour in the Valley of the Kings and everything around it

We had Roshdy as our tour guide and were very happy with him, the driver and the whole tour. He recommended us graves and we could still book the burial chambers we wanted (Tutankhamun and Sety I - highly recommended, though very expensive) at the main entrance. There was no time stress and we still got time to explore and take photos. I also found the Habu Temple very impressive, which I didn’t have on my screen at all, but is definitely to be seen. All around a great tour. Since we already knew these types of tours from Cairo and it was extremely hot, we also did not make a stop at the Alabastar workshop and this was accepted without discussion.

Fantastic full day West Bank tour

We had a great tour with Mosa who showed us all the major sights of the West Bank (Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut Temple, Deir el Medina, and Medinet Habu). Mosa was extremely knowledgeable, very kind, and gave us as much time as we needed everywhere so we never felt rushed. We could also let him know what sights we were particularly interested in and customize the tour to our liking. We were especially surprised by the beautiful tombs in Deir el Medina and the unexpected splendor of Medinet Habu. Would highly recommend this tour and also paying the extra price to see the tombs of Ramses V and VI, Seti I, and Tutankhamun, which were our favorites and much less crowded than the other tombs.

Roshdy made our trip very enjoyable

Roshdy made our trip an excellent experience. From the moment he picked my friend and I up from our hotel he looked after us with just the right mix of guidance and being left alone to explore. Roshdy was very knowledgeable and provided expert insight into the archaeological sites we visited and even gave us some great recommendations for other trips. Would definitely recommend.

Overall good tour get to...

Overall good tour get to see alot of things however according to the website it says the ticket to the valley of the queens is included. Our tour guide stated there was really nothing to see there so we didnt go. Now they should advertise that or ask us if we prefer not to go since it is advertised that the ticket fee is included. Additionally the tour guide had us stop off at an alabaster place and a perfume store. No where did it start in viator that these stops were included. I think its a decent tour but they arent 100 upfront on what it entails.

Luxor is a Learning Library!

This is a site to behold! Pun intended! Go early in the day if you can..It is impressive, what this queen achieved and how it still stands. The Valley of the Kings is amazing and seeing the mummy of King Tut is something! Put it on your itinerary.. you won't regret it!

Such an incredible day! It was packed with so much to see but all sites were as incredible as the next. Ali was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, he really looked after us and we would recommend this trip and him to anybody. We were very impressed with how many stories he had to share. A must do trip in Luxor.
