We were guided by very...

We were guided by very kind and helpful Khaled who effectively moved around with us and shared main information about the monuments. He also kindly and honestly helped to arrange tickets for additional tombs for which additional tickets are needed. We give 4 and not 5 because we had the feeling that we were a bit rushed through all the places and the trip was much shorter than we expected (6 hours instead of 8 that are indicated in the description). We would have appreciated more time per place with more details about their history. Overall however we would recommend the trip because it allows to see the most beautiful places around Luxor.

Fine. Not the Best Not the Worst

Our Sudanese Egyptian guide H was good. He started out with spirit and vigor and care. He was always polite and patient. Our driver was always happy and gentlemanly. Overall I think the guide did a pretty decent job using a picture book to help us imagine the Kingdoms and describe the hieroglyphs' meaning. He even took a few pictures for us. But we dont care to see things like the pharaoh's toilet. He probably had more knowledge than he shared that day. Where we would have appreciated better service is the customization part. If we are paying for a premium private experience then the tour operator is responsible for reaching out regarding any itinerary changes and managing the logistics and time. For example, I asked if we should start earlier to squeeze in lunch and no one responded. The guide was lackadaisical about time. Yes "the day is ours" but please help us plan and keep us on track so we dont have to skip 2 sites. We were also not informed of the exorbitant cost and time it would take to visit Sety's tomb. We understand that you need to upsell but that ate up the schedule. We were also not made aware until afternoon that everything closes at 4:30pm. All of this could have been sorted out in advance had there been better planning and communication.

Different way to be visit west Nile side

Great experience, the guide (Moss the Boss) is well prepared and he is able to make you dive into the egyptian age. Meanwhile the driver (Mohammed) is always in the right place and time for zero time waste. High suggested experience!

Not as described but still ok

The thing is the itinerary wasn’t as mentioned in the ticket. We booked 8 hours and our tour was only 6 hours. Although the valley of queens was a part of the tour but the tour guide said he didn’t get it on his schedule and we didn’t go there. But Overall for the places we visited the experience was good and the driver picked us on time and the tour guide was nice.

Fantastic private day tour of Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings

Mohsen was such an amazing tour guide. He has so much information to share about Egypt’s history and was fun to talk to about all the temples and history and lore. We enjoyed every site, every tidbit of information. He was so helpful in answering our questions and adapting to our needs and wants. Our driver was also beyond helpful and courteous. We wanted to see some of the extra tombs not included in the price of the tour and were thrilled that this was ok (for the additional fees at the site~for informational purposes for anyone reading this review). Seti I was definitely worth the additional cost so I would recommend to anyone to pay extra to see this tomb if you are going. The stop at the artisan place for souvenirs is not usually our favorite activity but we bought some lovely genuine pieces to take home and felt we were treated very fair on the prices there as well. No pressure from the fun sales people unlike at the tourist sites, just a good time looking at lovely stone art and hearing and seeing how it’s made. Lunch was also included and was very good. Over all, the entire day exceeded our expectations. We loved it and couldn’t recommend it more.

Beautiful place.

Excellent place to visit. I would love to visit again and again. The Queen of the Valley in Luxor is truly breathtaking. The people were friendly, welcoming, and very kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit destination for history and culture lovers.

Exceptional service from a knowledgeable and caring guide

"Highly Recommended – Best Guide in Egypt!" Being my first trip to Egypt, I had many anxieties, but Mohammed Haggag arranged everything perfectly. Not only was he efficient and knowledgeable, but he also took great photos for us. Even after the tour, he was happy to answer any questions I had. I feel very lucky to have had him as my guide. Thank you so much, Mohammed!
