After early morning pickup from your central Luxor hotel or cruise ship, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to the launch site on the west bank of the Nile River. On arrival, enjoy a light pre-flight snack and refreshments, and meet your expert pilot and ground crew. Next, listen to a comprehensive safety briefing and step inside the balloon’s sturdy basket with your pilot and several other passengers. Then, feel your adrenaline surge as the brightly colored balloon rises into the still-dark sky for your approximate 45 to 60-minute flight.

Great experience!
What a wonderful experience! We were picked up at our cruise ship and walked a few blocks to smaller motorboats that took us across the Nile (a fun journey in and of itself!). From there, it’s a short trip to watch the balloons get blown up (completely magical). Our pilot, Captain Ali, was fantastic and spun the balloon around so everyone could get beautiful views of the West and East Bank. We couldn’t recommend balloon’ing with Sunrise anymore! A must do in Luxor!!

Hot air balloon adventure
This was an amazing experience. The captain was awesome, he kept us in the air for 52 minutes! The landing was flawless, we didn’t even have to hold on or practice the landing strategy that they taught us. All the staff was very friendly, especially Ragab. We will tell everyone about our experience.

Hot air balloon ride
Our guide Hassan had amazing hospitality during our adventure today. He also pointed out great facts and monuments a long the way. Captain Ali flew very smooth and landed smooth..the Egyptian way ! Thank you both for a great sunrise view.
